Its only their third week of dating and Jiyong always appear in front of her almost everyday, except for somedays that Chaerin requested that she will spent time with the girls.

 

“Are you busy this Friday?” Jiyong asked Chaerin when they’re eating cakes in a dessert place.

“Hmm… no, why?”

“I want to take you out, its my birthday.”

“Really?”

“Yes, August 18.”

“Oh My God, you should tell me earlier, I haven’t buy any present for you.” She pop her eyes.

Jiyong smiling, “You’re the best present I got.”

“Oh come on… I need to get you something.”

“Just stay with me.”

“Oppa…” she sighed, “Tell me what you want?”

“You.”

“Come on….”

He laughs, “When is your birthday?” he asked.

Chaerin raised her eyebrows, “really?? You already asked and I already told you yesterday.”

“Really?”

“Really.”

“Really??” he smirked while taking his phone, “ah… February 26…”

“You write it on your phone?”

“I’m bad at memorizing dates, Chae…”

She didn’t say anything.

“Actually, I’m a forgetful person.” He said, “if this nose is not attached in my face, I might left it at home.” He added.

Chaerin smiled.

“But I’ll never forget you.” He said.

“Smooth talker.”

Suddenly his face gotten serious, he turned and look at Chaerin, “I’m serious… I want to remember you… and this moment…” he mumbled while scanning her face.

“Oppa, what are you doing?”

He touched her hair, “This hair, those eyes, nose, lips…”

“Are you gonna sing a song by that YG artist—whoever his name is—??”

“Taeyang, the singer is Taeyang.” He said while pulling himself back to his place.

“Oh right…” she smiled, “You forget my birthday yet you can remember the name of YG artist.”

Jiyong laughs, “its because I’m a fan.”

“Then sing his song.”

“I don’t want to, the song is sad, I hate it.”

“You’re a fan but hate his song… weirdo.”

“Hey, you want to go somewhere after this?” he suddenly asked.

“Hmm… no, why?”

“Why don’t we go to my house? I want to introduce you to my family.”

“What?? N-no… not today, oppa, can’t you see I’m just wearing very casual clothes… no no…”

“Its okay…”

“No, no… next time, okay?” she said.

“Well, okay…” he said, “Anyway, how do I look?” he siddenly asked.

“Nice… why?”

“Do you think my outfit is good enough to see your parents?”

“Hmm… I think so, why?”

“Then lets go see you parents.”

“What the heck, oppa, what is get in to you? Why are you being so obsessed with meeting the parents??”

They went to Chaerin’s house later that day and she was really nervous, it will be the first time she’ll officially introduce Jiyong to them.

“Hello, I’m Kwon Jiyong, Chaerin’s friend.” He politely bowed to Mr. and Mrs. Lee.

“Oh hello, Jiyong… I’m Chaerin’s father.”

“We’ve heard about you.”

Jiyong smiled, “Did she talk about me a lot?”

Chaerin blushed.

“Enough to make us know that you’re special for her.” Mrs. Lee said.

They were talking ‘till Harin, Chaerin’s little sister came home.

“I’m home.” She shouts from the door.

“That must be my sister, Harin.” Chaerin said.

Jiyong rose and greet her.

“Omo! So this is unnie’s boyfriend? Anyeong haseooo.” She bowed.

Jiyong chuckles. “Anyeong, Harinie…”

“Wow… good catch, unnie!” she elbowed Chaerin.

“Ya Harin!” Chaerin scolded her and she giggles.

 

“Your family is so fun.” He said when there’re just the two of them.

“I bet yours too…” she said.

“Yes,” he smiled, “I have one older sister, my mom and dad is also a fun person… I’m happy that we have a fun families.”

Chaerin just smiling.

“So when will you go see my family?” he asked.

“Uh… well…”

“I just want to introduce you to them, don’t take it as a burden… it doesn’t mean that you should marry me or what.” Jiyong chuckles looking at her reaction.

Chaerin also awkwardly chuckles, “Then you set the date…”

Chaerin sitting at her campus cafeteria with Bom and Dara.

“So… few days a go Jiyong came to my house and I introduce him to my parents.” She suddenly told Bom and Dara.

“Ow ow ow…” Dara popped her eyes while bom spilled her drink.

“Wooowww!! That was fast girl!”

“He suddenly wants to see them.”

“Then what he said? Is he going to propose you or what?”

“No, we were just casually talking, he said he just want to know my family.. and he asked me to meet his family too… soon.”

“Is this relationship really serious??” Bom asked.

“Every relationship should be serious, Bommie!” Dara said.

“But, you know… Chae’s relationship is too fast.” Bom said.

“I realized it too…” Dara said.

“Even I thought so too…” Chaerin bit her lip, “Somehow it scares me…”

“Why? Dara asked.

“Because its too perfect… he did things that will only exist in the movie or drama.”

“Maybe he’s really that kind of guy… you know, character in the drama is based on reality, right? Even though they made it better but still… maybe there’s a person who really like that.” Dara said and Bommie nodded.

“but I feel like preparing my heart to be broken anytime, that I don’t know why…”

“Chae, don’t over thinking about it.” Bom added.

Chaerin peek at her phone because its beeping.

 

Jiyong: Chae, I can’t pick you up today, i'll go somewhere with my mom. Will u be ok?

 

“Jiyong?” Bom asked.

She nodded, “he can’t pick me up today because he's going with mom or so…” she said while replying his message.

 

Chaerin: I’ll be perfectly fine. Have fun^^

Jiyong : love you.

 

She feels her heart bumping just to read his message.

"Handsome, rich, loving his family.. yeah i guess he's too perfect..." Bom mumbles and Dara knew Bom's words made Chaerin worried again.

"You're lucky , Chae!" she patted her back.

Chaerin nodded, "I hope i am..." then she typed message for Jiyong.

Jiyong brought her to dinner on his birthday, she was agree that Jiyong could pick any place because its his birthday, fancy place or casual places will do. So Jiyong bring her to a nice restaurant, not very fancy but it has some serious queue outside.

“How did you manage to have table here?” Chaerin asked when she found that they don’t have to queue.

“With a little help from an acquaintance.” He smiled.
