There is a strangely familiar vibe going through the room. People are discussing things, nagging each other, and laughing with each other. Everything seems like how it used to be.
What made it even better is that Yixing just took me aside and told me that Suho remembers. Being the leader of the group, the group has had a great impact on his life. An impact that was apparently the trigger for his memories. You could see that he remembered. His eyes got wider and he was looking around in disbelieve. He seemed to not understand the situation anymore and I get that. We were threatened almost all the time and suddenly there is not threat anymore. It's quite confusing.
I'm sitting next to Sehun who has been awkwardly staring at his coffee for the past ten minutes. Suddenly he decides to speak up.
'Thank you,' he says.
'Hm?' I reply, not having heard his words clear enough.
'Thank you for bringing our family together again. They might not remember the old times, but I still love them like family,' he says with a smile.
'You remember?' I ask confused and a bit shocked.
'I do,' he replies and smiles. I barely ever see him smile. 'These people are so important to me. I have no one but them.' If he wouldn't have looked down, I might've seen a tears drop onto his cheek, but I didn't.
He remembered because he doesn't have anyone but this group. This whole thing might be harder than we thought. If the impact of the situation that triggers the old memories has to be life changing, than how do we reproduce those situations? It's almost impossible. We were just lucky with Suho and Sehun.
