Soleil et Lune

My soul cries out for the one I once called mine.
The pain of not being able to see the sun no more.
Because together, we were broken pieces fit for each other.
He was the sun while I was the moon,
he found me in the time of my low
and shined his warmth on me.
The coldness and bitterness gone thanks to him.
However, there was always that bit of ray he kept away.
I was curious as to why but
didn't pressure as to why.
Despite the secrets kept from the other,
it seems liked there was no other.
We became queen and king,
forever together in a reign.
Even so, kingdoms have times of darkness
in which caused the storm.
Soon enough the pieces that fit,
the perfect harmony, 
the warmth,
or reign was no longer there.
Problems arose which led to hurt.
No one wanting to listen to other,
shouting and cursing at each other.
Everything was crumbling and I was scared,
I can't lose him for he is my will.
Making sure that everything was alright,
I took a step back and let him rest.
Surely he will be fine and we can finely be alright.
But soon lies and murmurs are blown in,
making him want to cave in.
Don't believe for they are not true,
have you not seen that I'm good to you?
Turning blind on what I say,
Turning blind to how I feel,
The kingdom built was gone.
It's okay, we will rebuild it 
yet I was the only one pulling that rumble.
Where are you my love, I scream.
No longer with you and your deceiving schemes.
My heart shatters on hearing such venom,
but he is the one who made me whole.
Why must it be this way,
surely it can be different.
But without looking back,
he left with loud footsteps.
It was over,
everything we had.
It hurts because the heat has gone cold
and the passion gone.
Maybe he will come back,
I want to stay.
But deep down in my brain,
I know what he'll say.
I guess that's why the coldness has returned,
the queen all alone,
the kingdom gone,
still there is hope because
a piece of him is still around.
But I know he will come back 
with open arms and an open heart.
It's just time has a part
yet it moves so slow.
In the end, everything is restored to what it was like in the beginning.
Only this time bit and pieces of us are missing.
