You stood there in utter confusion, your mind beginning to race with thoughts.

I love Seokjin, right? 

Your mind flashed to a time last year, a time that you had forgotten. Despite the events of the past hour, you had a slight smile on your face. You heard voices in your head, as the clouded memory of the last year began to re-enter your mind.

"Friends, this is y/n!" Jimin introduced you, a cheerful expression lighting up his face.

Your heart began to pound at the memory. Jimin, who used to make your heart flutter endlessly. He was so sweet, too sweet. Dangerously so. It masked something ugly and deep, bitter, within him.

"Wooooww. She's..."

Seokjin's warm voice filled your head. Warm, honey-like in quality.

"Now, remember, she's my girlfriend." Jimin flashed his wide, winning smile. Bright. Masking the ugly quality of his words.

"Aw, already? I was hoping I had a chance." A grin. Seokjin was always so charming.

Now? Seokjin had a chance. Jimin hadn't thought to pursue you. He let you go when he allowed you to let your memories go.

Whether or not Seokjin would continue to pursue that chance was the real question, though. He seemed done with the relationship, done with everything.

Do I want to try to get him back, or do I want to be done with everything, too?

You were unsure. Both Jimin and Seokjin made your heart flutter.

Your mind traveled back to a more recent memory.

"I feel attraction towards you. Wait, that sounded weird. Um... I think you're pretty? You have a nice voice? Ugh, I sound so shallow... but I want to get to know you more! So that, well, I don't sound shallow anymore!"

Seokjin was adorably awkward, and you liked him. Last year complicated everything.

Do I really want to get caught up in the past?

"I don't know," you whispered to yourself. "I just don't know."
