━ { too late

The night after the battle the group chat was blowing up in anger and annoyance. The next couple days not only was Eunjeong annoyed, she was feeling butterflies again. She began talking to Kihyun again after he explained he had nothing to do with the incident with Twice. She was walking out of the subway, listening to her music when she spotted Kihyun wearing his Seoul Arts uniform and leaning against a building. With a smile, Eunjeong walked to him and waved. The two walked to the street that spilt and lead to the different Art Schools.

“Ah. Oppa, I couldn’t give to you before.” She said and pulled out a box from her bag, taking the small box he opened it, and smiled at the younger girl.

“Please tell you didn’t make these.” He said, dread filling his face, crossing her arms she threw a glare at the producer whom only gave her a smile.

“No. My mom bought them.” She said, looking away pretending to mad.

“A couple days late. But, I’ll accept them. Catch you later.” He said, then headed off to school. Eunjeong turned smiling to herself to see Jinhee looking at her with an eyebrow raised, as Hansol walked up to her.

“Oh, morning.” He said to Eunjeong with a smile, as Jinhee turned to him and smiled.

“Morning. And is that a smile. You know how to use those muscles?! What. Is this witchcraft.” Eunjeong teased the maknae as they walked to school, Hansol intertwining his hand with the Grim Reaper. “Watch out Hansol, she is nicknamed the Grim Reaper.” She said sticking her tongue at the younger before walking ahead of them.

Yumi was focused on a notebook as she sat on the bus, Yoongi took the empty seat next to her as more students boarded the bus. With headphones in she taped her pencil on the notebook to the beat. Yoongi smiled as he watched her, not blinking as she was concentrated. He put her notebook over the other, which he recognized as his, gaining her attention. Removing her headphones she looked the older.

“It’s good. I made some notes in it I hope you don’t mind.” He said, as she handed his notebook to him.

“I did the same. Great minds think alike.” She said smiling, he read through her notes as she did his.

The two spent the bus ride to school talking over their notes and lyrics. Once they arrived to school, Yumi looked at him and noticed he was already looking at her. The two looked away awkwardly.

“Um. I have practice.” She said, then waved heading to the dance studio to see everyone there already stretching.

“So, I’m guessing he doesn’t know you gave him one?” Areum said, the girls looked between the Year 3s in confusion.

“Wait.” Nell started.

“You gave Yoongi-shi chocolates?” Eunjeong completed the Princess’ thoughts.

“Does everyone know or something? I’m not Lauren.” She said, annoyed.

“Areum told us.” Lauren mumbled, standing up and walking out. The girls all sighed after she left, Yumi rubbed her face.

“I didn’t mean it like that.”

“We know. She doesn’t seem to be happy right now.” Eunjeong said, Yumi nodded and started stretching with the others.
