Music had filled the school as multiple groups were practicing, the third battle had occurred two days ago. Tomorrow was the day the results of the first battle were announced, currently Areum was helping Yumi with new choreography as Nell and Eunjeong went over the lyrics and pitch. Lauren hadn't shown up and neither had Jinhee, the four were in the zone when a bell toned signaling lunch was starting.

The schedules had been changed so groups had time to practice during school, Yumi lead the girls to the canteen talking about about the song they were working on. Only a few students were spotted in uniforms while the rest wore clothes to dance in, Yumi looked around as Nell told a story about her brothers she spotted Twice sitting together and made eye contact with Jihyo whom quickly looked away turning back to the other eight at her table.

"Yumi!" Seungwan called and waved the four over after they got their food they took a seat at the table, as Yumi sat down next to her best friend Danbi rushed to the table and took a seat next to Eunjeong, Areum looked around awkwardly.

"I'm Areum Year 3." She introduced herself, Seungwan smiled at the girls.

"Seungwan, Year 3 as well. Yumi's best friend. And you must be Nell and Eunjeong. It's a pleasure to meet you all." Seungwan said smiling the girls relaxed at the smile and turned to Eunjeong.

"Oh. Hi. I'm Danbi Year 2, and the reason Eunjeong got in." She said and got nudged by the artist, whom smiled at her friend.

"Meaning, she dragged me to audition. We have been friends for a long time." Eunjeong said as they began to eat their lunch, they were enjoying their food and talking when Jihoon walked to them looking at the girls with a smile.

"Do you mind if I still with you all? Me and Soonyoung at least." He said the girls looked at Areum whom nodded, Jihoon took the seat next to her and Soonyoung sat across from him. Nell was scrolling on her Instagram when she choked on her food, the group looked at her, Eunjeong patted her back as Namjoon and Yoongi walked over.

"Everything okay?" Eunjeong asked then glanced at her phone and her eyes widened, and set it on the table for the others to see.

A picture of Mark and Mina of Twice was posted on his Instagram with the heart emoji under it.

"Don't let her see this. Last thing we need his to loose our happy virus." Yumi said giving Nell her phone, Namjoon sat next to Seungwan as Yoongi sat next to Yumi handing her notebook from rap class that she left behind before practice. Eunjeong looked at Twice's table and caught Jihyo watching them along with MoMo, she glared at the two and they looked away shocked.

The girls were back in the practice room when Jinhee decided to join them. Jinhee had a doctor's appointment and missed the first half of the day, pushing the door open the girls snapped their heads to her and sighed in relief. The youngest went and put her stuff down as the rest finished stretching.

"Let's do a run through. When Lauren gets here we will do a run with mics." Yumi said, they all nodded, Areum went to the computer and started the countdown that started before the song started. The five got in their spots, as Jung PD walked in giving them a small wave and watching from the bench on the side of the room. The five continued practicing until Ms.Lee walked in, telling them to head to class.

Saturday.

The girls had agreed to meet at Eunjeong's part time job as they waited for the results of the battle.Yumi had sat at a table, on her phone scrolling through her social media. Jinhee walked in and sat across from the older, removing her jacket. Nell walked in with shades and a professional aura, Jinhee looked the oldest up and down as she sat next to Yumi. Eunjeong walked over to get their order, throwing the three a smile. Lauren walked in and took the seat next to Jinhee releasing a sigh. As Eunjeong went to get their drinks, Areum walked in and removed her jacket taking the seat at the end of the table, the girls looked her up and down.

"Got a date or something?" Yumi asked raising an eyebrow at the slacker whom scoffed as Eunjeong returned.

"No. I'm going to study after this." The group's eyes widened and stared at her, shocked the girl who would rather not be seen at school is going to study.

"I can help you if-" "No, my friend is helping me." Areum interrupted Jinhee whom then sinked down in her seat.

Lauren wiggled her eyebrows to which Areum hit her arm. Nell shook her head as Yumi chuckled at the two. Eunjeong headed back to the counter as they waited for Fiestar or Meraki to appear on the group board, staring down at Nell's iPad in the center of the table.

"Say we do win,we need more fans if we are going to beat Twice." Yumi said, Nell glanced at the unoffical leader, in her mind. "They are ruthless, trust me." She muttered under her breath.

"What actually happened? With you and Twice, I mean." Nell asked as they all kept their eyes on the device.

"Nayeon, is evil. She convinced them that I was the reason they weren't advancing as well as they hoped. Thus, kicking me out. The whole me leaving was a rumor Nayeon started." Yumi spilled, it felt good to clear her name among the girls she hoped believed her.

"Those-" Lauren started, Areum covered the younger's mouth knowing she was going to cuss.

"Leadernim, we will show them what they have missed out on." Jinhee said, the girls all nodded as Eunjeong walked back to them as the volume of the coffee shop died down.

"Twice are rude, ruthless demons, that will steal our souls for social gain." Jinhee gave Eunjeong the cliffnotes, she laughed at the maknaes choice of words and smiled to Yumi, whom smiled.

"You like a cat by the way, especially when you smile." Nell pointed out, the others nodded. She shook her head as Eunjeong looked the iPad.

"Oh my god." English slipping out of the hardworkers mouth, the group turned to her then down at the iPad.

"So, more fans, right?" Areum said, none of their eyes looking at the screen.

 MERAKI

Written right under Twice, the girls all sighed.

"Yep. And I think I know exactly how." Yumi said then smiled, the girls looked at each other then to their leader.
