Lauren kissed her mom on the cheek as she headed out of her apartment into the winter air, putting in her headphones she walked down the stairs. Heading to her bus stop she spotted Mark and Jackson dancing in the walkway, the Aussie guessing it was a new song they were working on. She turned down her music as she neared them sitting on the bench infront of where they were.

“No. I swear it should be this instead of this.” Jackson spoke in English, which peaked Lauren’s interest even more. She looked over her shoulder and watched Jackson show the move as she spotted Yugyeom walking to them.

“Hyung, I don’t think that fits.” Yugyeom interjected, about the move as Lauren watched. Out of the corner of the youngest of GOT7’s eye he saw Lauren watching them. “Mark hyung, your fan is watching.” He said smirking, Lauren quickly looked away and soon felt a tap on her shoulder. Looking up she was surprised to meet Yugyeom’s eyes as she removed a headphone. “Excuse me. Aren’t you in Advanced Dance?” Yugyeom asked, she nodded. She was in his class for Christs sake. “Can you help me?” He asked, sitting next to her pulling out his phone, a video loading of their practice. “See, I get stuck there.” He said at the part where he stopped dancing and stood still.

“Hm. Maybe instead of standing after that, stay lower to ground during the verse then moving up.” Lauren said, Yugyeom looked at her as if she said the meaning to life.

“Thank you, uh-“ “Lauren. No formality we are in the same year.” She interjected, Yugyeom nodded with a smile. “Thank you, Lauren. See you later.” He said walking to the older two, she glanced over her shoulder to see Mark smiling at her. Turning away quickly as their bus arrived, Jae already saving a seat for his best friend.

The girls were busy practicing aka Areum and Lauren completing the next dance, Eunjeong, Nell, Jinhee and Yumi breaking the song up. There was a knock on the door, the girls bowed as Jaebum walked in a camera right behind him.

“I hope you don’t mind. We are doing an interview before the next battle.” Jaebum explained, Yumi nodded in understanding. The girls rushed to make sure they looked presentable before sitting on the floor infront of the camera, Yumi handed a mic.

“Go ahead and introduce yourselves, group and indivually.” Jaebum said as the camera started recording.

“1.2.3. Hello, we are Meraki. Nice to meet you.” They all said, months of practice finally paying off.

“Hello, I’m Meraki’s leader Yumi.” She said, bowing slightly and smiling her cat like smile.

“Hello, I’m Meraki’s lead vocal, Eujeong. Please take care of me.” The artist bowed as well and gave a small smile passing the mic down.

“Hello, I’m Meraki’s visual,” hair flip. “Nell. Nice to meet you.” She said smiling.

“Hello, I’m Meraki’s fun loving Areum.” She said with a wink handing the mic to Jinhee whom swallowed audibly.

“Hello, I’m Meraki’s main vocal, Jinhee.” She said bowing deeply from where she sat.

“Yeh. Hello, I’m Main- ah no. Meraki’s-“ the girls began laughing at Lauren’s awkward introduction. “main dancer and sunshine, Lauren. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” She said then passed the mic back to Yumi as she sighed and hid her face.

“So we pulled questions fans left on your board on the app. First, how did you guys form Meraki?”

“Actually, our vocal teacher, Ms. Lee pulled us together after seeing our auditions and progress as her students.” Nell said, the girls nodding.

“Wow. Next, you guys are going to point at who fits the best to the phrase.” They all nodded. “ Eats the most.”

They all looked at each other then all pointed at Jinhee whom just nodded in acceptance.

“Eats the least.”

All fingers went to Areum whom coughed awkwardly.

“Its scary, how much she doesn’t eat.” Nell said, Areum lightly hit her arm to stop her.

“Best at cooking.”

“1.2.3” Fingers pointed at Yumi.

“Worst at cooking. 1.2.3”

Eunjeong.

“Don’t even let her in a kitchen.” Lauren said, Eunjeong glared at her same aged friend.

“Loves skinship.”

The group spilt between Nell and Yumi whom hugged each other.

“Hates skinship.”

Jinhee.

“You can’t even sit close to her. She is probably on the verge of hitting Lauren.” Areum said, scooting away from the youngest.

“Best marks.”

Jinhee.

“Worst marks.”

Areum.

“I mean they are improving.” Yumi said, Areum nodded trying to defend herself.

“Alright. So to be in a group you each have to have a special talent. What are each of yours?” He asked, Yumi started off first.

“I can play the piano. That’s about it really.” Yumi said, chuckling as she passed the mic to Nell.

“I did ballet for a while.” Nell said.

“She is obessed.” Eunjeong said as she took the mic, “I’m very artsy. Like paintings, graffiti work, poetry. All of that realm of art.”

“Uh. Wow. I don’t think I have anything special. Excpet didn’t know how to dance or rap until my best friend taught me.” Areum said, not really sure of what to say.

“Uh. I don’t have any.” Jinhee said quickly and passed the mic to Lauren whom smiled at the camera.

“I can b-boy.” The girls all snapped their head at the youngest in shock.

“Well, this all the time we have. Good luck you guys.” Jaebum said after finishing the interview and heading out of the room.

“Well, back to it.” Yumi said, Lauren and Areum fake saluted as the others went to where they were sitting.
