━ { here comes trouble

Leave it to Ms. Lee to misplace everything, she swore up and down she had just placed her blue binder on her desk. As she franctically searched her desk her classroom door opened quietly opened, a girl who normally is late or never shows up with her hair in a ponytailtail looked around the room taking a seat close to the door. Ms. Lee stood up and huffed then made eye contact with the girl and held her hand to her chest.

"As glad as I am to see you Areum, you could have made a noise." Ms. Lee stated as she took a seat in her chair, as the door opened again a smile showing on her face as a girl one of her students wouldn't stop raving about was pushed in by said student, she glared at the vocal student as she ran away. "Take a seat Yumi." Yumi took a seat two seats away from Areum putting her back pack on the floor. Ms. Lee started looking through her drawers again, looking for the binder as the two students looked at each other. The door opened again, the smell of paint filled the room the student went to a seat between the two others as Ms. Lee smiled finally finding the binder. "Ah, nice to see you Eunjeong." The vocal coach, as Yumi coughed "Traitor" under her breath to which Eunjeong snapped her head towards the other.

"Quiter." Eunjeong stated, Areum's eyes widened as she looked at the two as they practicly threw daggers at each other, Yumi scoffed and looked out the window, as Ms. Lee sighed. The door opened the smell of expensive perfume flooded the room, Areum rolled her eyes as the girl walked in with her chin held high.

"Nell, go ahead and take a seat." Ms. Lee said going through the binder looking for something, the tension in the room was getting thicker by the minute, the door opened and a smaller girl entered, the group softened at the smile on her face as she bowed to them and took a seat behind Areum. Ms. Lee smiled to her and then glance at the clock her smile began to fade as the door opened.

The group looked the girl up and down as she walked and sat in the back, Ms. Lee stood up and smiled at the goup.

"Well, now that everyone is here. I will introduce each of you and your role in the group. No fighting me on it." She said then motioned for Yumi to stand up, she slowly stood up and looked at the other girls. "Woo Yumi, main rapper and vocalist. Lee Nell, dancer, vocalist and center. Song Areum, lead dancer, rapper, vocalist. Kwon Eunjeong, lead vocalist. Kang Lauren, main dancer, vocalist, Park Jinhee, Main-" "Just a vocalist." Jinhee interrupted, Ms. Lee sighed before nodding in agreement, she looked at the girls before handing them lyric sheets, they all looked at her confused. then noticed each of them high lighted with their names.

"Memorize the whole song by next week and tomorrow you will listen to the demo and Lauren and Areum you will be working on the choreography for all of the songs you will preform. Practice as much as you need to, meet in dance room 2 tomorrow morning at 7 before classes start. If you are not there on time I will count it as your first strike, three strikes and your out. You are dismissed." Ms. Lee said the girls soon exited the room not giving another look at each other, they went their seperate ways Areum headed towards downtown to meet up with Jaehyun. While Nell headed to the car waiting for her, Eunjeong spotted Danbi whom had waited for her and the two headed to the art wall downtown, and Yumi wet to the local cornerstore to meet with her friends. Jinhee went to the dance studio her brother was practicing in while Lauren walked to her bus stop.

The six didn't know what the next year had in store for them.

It had been two weeks since they first started practicing, Lauren and Areu had ran through the dance several times with everyone it was their first practice in a week. Lauren was stretching as Areum entered, the two were probably the only ones that seemed to get along over their bond for dance. Areum began stretching as well, they decided practicing after school would be easier considering their different course schedules. Eunjeong came in next she was wearing paint covered clothes and her back pack was covered as well. Yumi followed in suit going straight to the system and grabbed six mics and turned them on as Nell walked in Jinhee right behind her, this is how practice normally went.

As usual there was silence as they stretched which was normal for three of the girls but the other three just didn't want to talk. As they started practicing thats when the tension started to errupt. They were on their third run when Yumi groaned as Nell was slacking off a bit. When Yumi missed a beat, Nell smirked. When Eunjeong was singing along, Jinhee wouldn't even lipsync. Lauren and Areum were putting their all in the dance put when Areum noticed the daggers being sent accross the room she stopped the music. Lauren rose an eyebrow before sighing and sitting down, as the air thickened in the room.

"I can see why you quit now, you can't even stay on beat." Nell stated while staring at Yumi whom scoffed, crossing her arms.

"Not all of us had our parents for everything we ever wanted." Yumi said turning to the computer, looking through the recording of their practice.

"How are you even in this group? You don't even sing." Eunjeong snapped at Jinhee as she sat down next to Lauren, whom had her arms crossed against her chest. Jinhee muttered something under her breath before storming out of the room, slamming the door behind her.

"I honestly don't have time for you guys being childern, I have a prior engagment to go to." Areum said rolling her eyes and grabbing her bag, leaving the room soon after the youngest. Lauren sighed before grabbing her bag and leaving the studio as well, Eunjeong following after. Nell gave Yumi one last look before leaving as well, leaving the rapper alone.

Turning on the music Yumi went back to practicing, as Jinhee walked the halls to see only a few students in the hallways probably taking a break. She walked towards the garden to see someone sitting in said garden with a notebook, she tilted her head and walked closer to notice he was writing something while looking around. Jinhee's phone began playing GOT7's Home Run out loud forcing the students attention on her, pulling her phone out she bowed in apology before answering it. A smile spread accross the other student's features as she left the garden.

Areum sighed as entered the tutoring room where her "counseling sessions" took place, the two students glared at each other as she sat down.

"You are early today." Jihoon stated going back to his notes, as she put her feet on the table.

"Practice went south. I don't understand how we are going to pretend to like each other on stage when they are at each other's throats every five minutes." Areum said, Jihoon nodded in understanding.

"Maybe you all need to work on teamwork. Like an MT kind of thing." Jihoon said, as he wrote out a math problem.

"They won't go for it. We all avoid each other as much as we can." Areum said as there was a knock on the door, the student Jinhee had just saw walked in the room.

"Oh. Hi. Um, hyung, you know everyone in the school, right?" The guy asked kneeling next to the table, Jihoon smiled at the younger and nodded.
"Well, there is this girl I saw her in passing-" "I'm going to leave, see tomorrow." Areum said getting bored of the conversation, standing up to leave she saluted Jihoon before leaving.

"Way to go Hansol." Jihoon scolded the younger whom only smiled.

Lauren looked through the dance studios for her best friend to see him talking away with someone, she tilted her head and started walking towards the two before freezing in place.

"Oh, Lauren!! Did practice end early?" Her best friend asked when he saw her, the other person turned around and Lauren felt her knees go weak. Mark. Freaking. Tuan. Was talking to Lauren's best friend and only friend.

She could die happy now.

"We ride the same bus, right?" Mark asked and if it wasn't for Jae checking her pulse she might have actually thought she was in heaven, only being able to give a nod.

"Well, it was nice talking to you Jae, see you around." Mark said before walking to a frantic Jinyoung on the phone.

"He knows your name. He knows I, Lauren Kang, exist." Lauren said in English once Mark was out of sight, Jae shock his head at the smaller girl.

"You are such a fangirl." Jae said as they started to walk to the main door, Lauren sighed as she saw Mark walking infront of them with Jinyoung and Jinhee.

"No way. Thats the Year 1 in Ms. Lee's group." Lauren said as the exited the school pointing at Jinhee whom smiled at something the boys said, Jae put a hand on Lauren's shoulder.

"If only you were a normal person then that could be you." Jae said, Lauren fake cried as they walked out the gate.

Nell pulled out her phone and clicked on a contact putting it to her ear, looking around for the familiar van.

"Nell, we are down the street a bit." A voice said on the other line, Nell hung up and exited the school gates, turning the corner spotting the van.

"Hey~" Nell cooed when she opened the van door, meeting her partner in crimes eyes he threw her a smile as his manager headed to the company building. "You still practicing with the others?" Nell asked, he nodded.

"Yeah, we had a break and you just happened to be done with practice." Jaehyun said with a smile as they pulled infront of SM Entertainment, Nell got out and followed the other into the building. The two continued talking on their way to the practice room, in the back of her mind she knew they were going to get chewed out the next day. Entering the room she was met with the faces of NCT as they talked amongst themselves.

"You must be Nell, I'm Taeyong." Nell nodded and bowed to the idol and went to take a seat on one of the benchs while they began rehearsing.
