Winter break had come to an end, the girls were not able to check their standing in the Final Showcase as the app only showed fans now and groups would find out at their school. Nell, greeting her family before sitting down for breakfast, Yumi waking her brothers and mother up, Eunjeong greeting her parents as her mother handed her food to eat on the subway, Areum stretching as she grabbed the money off the fridge, Lauren packing food for her mother before grabbing some for herself, and Jinhee sneaking out the door in her Hallyu uniform before her parents woke up.

Students were buzzing around the school as the second round came to an end, students crowding around the large display screen that crossed off those not continuing in the competition. Eliminiations had begun. As the first bell sounded, Melody Day had a line drawn through it, the four girls walked away in tears as Lauren stood in front of the screen, Eunjeong joining her.

"Wow. Thats harsh." Lauren said, the artist nodded in agreement.

Fiestar was next, the girls frowned slightly since after meeting them they liked them. Soon after, SF9, a Seoul Arts group of boys. The last group to be eliminated, Gugudan, another Seoul Arts group of girls.

"Wait. Did we win?" Eunjeong asked the younger girl whom shrugged, the screen changed format to numbers.

Confused, everyone looked at each other before back onto the screen, the screen spilt between winners and losers. The losers going into elimination round, the two second years walked off to find Yumi whom should know what the numbers meant.

"Leadernim!" Lauren called as Yumi talked with Seungwan whom were standing in front of their homeroom classroom. The older turned to the two and smiled.

"There are numbers on the display screen, I think they correlate with each group." Lauren said, cueing Yumi to pull her phone out of her pocket, the screen loaded the showcase logo a number flashing on her screen as groups crowded the display screen to figure out where they stood.

Nahyun, Jihyo and Jeongyeon cheered together as they spotted their number,10, on the screen under winners, as Yoonggi, Namjoon and Seokjin looked for theirs,2, before smiling spotting it under winners. The three along with Seungwan walked to the screen as groups cheered and sighed, their eyes scanned the screen before landing on number 14. The girls smiled and cheered with each other, jumping up and down hugging each other.

“We need to practice more.” Yumi said, as the screen changed again, numbers being paired up. “ Whose number 4?” She asked, they all looked around and sighed in relief when Twice began talking with another group. “I hope its not them.” Yumi groaned, as the second bell rang a warning bell for class the girls dispersed.

Yumi walked into her advanced rap class, taking her seat next to Namjoon as he flipped through his notebook. Yoongi taking a seat next to her, the two smiled at each other until Namjoon broke the silence as Hoseok took a seat behind Yumi.

“What number are you?” He asked, obviously curious if they were battling each other this round.

“14. You?” She asked as more students took their seats, Namjoon smiled.

“2, I was worried we would get destroyed so early on.” He said, Yumi shook her head as Mr. Park walked in.

Nell sighed as she stretched as her acting class was dismissed for lunch, walking to her locker she spotted Yumi looking across the open area, following her line of sight spotted Yoongi talking with Jungkook as they headed to lunch. A smirk danced on the Princess’ face as she walked to the leader.

“Ah!” Yumi yelled as Nell grabbed her shoulder.

“If you stare any harder, you will burn holes in him.” Nell said gesturing to the retreating rapper, Yumi opened and closed not able to come up with a logical reason.

“Unnies!” Lauren called out with Eunjeong beside her, as they walked down the stairs.

“Yo.” Areum greeted as she walked to the group whom was soon greeted with Jinhee’s presence.

The six were eating lunch and talking about their day as Nell was smiling at her phone, Areum raised an eyebrow at her the older shaking her head. Groans escaped them as Twice sat at a table near them, they rolled their eyes before standing up to leave.
