Lavender used to be your dog. Your parents adopted her when you were 3.

As you were the only child, they adopted her so that you wouldn't feel bored and alone at home.

Lavender became your close friend, one you could confide all your secrets in.

She would always comfort you when you were sad and cheer you up. She might be a dog, but she had the abilities to do things that even a person can't.

You loved her like your own sister. You would shower her with all the love and care.

One day, you were kidnapped. Lavender was with you that day too. She was buried in your arms.

You shivered in fright. You were locked up in a room by the kidnappers. Lavender your to comfort you.

"Lavender, I'll protect you, don't worry." you said that to her and her fur for the last time.

One of the kidnappers entered the room and tried to move you into another room.

Lavender bit his arm and he took out his gun. Feeling angry, he pointed it at you and pulled the trigger. 

-BANG- 

You heard the gunshot but felt nothing.

You looked down and saw Lavender breathing heavily.

"Lavender!" you screamed. "Andwae!"

Blood was gushing out of her wound.

"!" the man cursed and grabbed Lavender away from you. 

That was the last time you saw your dog.

"Dragon-ah, don't worry, I'll protect you. Since I wasn't able to protect Lavender, I promise I'll protect you." you hugged him tightly.
