The ZetaPROLOGUE
The silence was foreboding and the occasional crunch sound of water crystal breaking under the hurried steps of a boy, no older than 16, was not enough to fade away the fear that gripped the said boy’s heart as he dashed through the narrow alley ways, in the coldest time of the year.
The cold air was biting on his skin and his feet felt frozen but the boy couldn’t dare to stop in order to rub his hands on his freezing arms… his mind solely stuck on the fact that he was getting late, his mother would be worried sick, his father must be pacing the living room of their house planning the scolding the boy was sure he would be getting tonight… because like always stated ‘No staying out after the sun down’ was one rule he was not allowed to break… and yet he did it today.

Now, walking all alone in the dead night with the soft whish of cold wind making goosebumps to stand on his skin, the boy regretted not accepting his friends offer… because three is always better than one.
Muttering a few curses under his breath, when the boy’s foot landed in a puddle of water- that had not frozen to form the water crystal just yet- drenching his shoe and sock in freezing cold water, the boy quickened his steps. He had a weird feeling of being watched. With his heart racing at top speed he crossed a road in his deserted neighborhood and turned to walk down in another dark and thin alley way… it was the shortcut to his house. Just covering this small distance would allow him to round a corner and ente
