Dr. Dog.
More Than Just 사랑The sun has long disappeared into the horizon by the time Jieun returned to headquarters. It was dark with few souls pondering the streets as the summer night wind embrace the almost empty city. By now, Jieun was at least familiar with the area around Moonlight cafe and a few of the many entrances to K.I.U HQ.
After passing the stairs down to the tunnel, the sound of footsteps clanking against the metal stairs behind her echoed through the narrow passageway. Jieun assumed it was probably just another agent but her conscience told her something wasn't right once the echo became more defined. The sound of the footsteps were heavy, and it seemed like the person was staggering down the stairs from the sound of it. Not to mention, the heavy panting and breathing that was becoming more evident by the second. Out of instinct, Jieun balled her palm into a fist out of precaution as she rotate her body to the direction the sound was coming from. It must have been her luck, because as soon as she turned around, the owner of the footsteps crushed into her figure, sending them both stumbling backwards a few steps.
Regaining her balance she could hear a male grunting under his breathe. Even if the male was wearing a mask, Jieun could identify those eyes anywhere once she saw them. Those dark, distant and indecipherable pair of eyes only belonged to one person. It was no other than her arch enemy leader. Standing before her was her leader who was batttered and bruised with droplets of blood seeping from his fresh wounds. For a short second which seemed like eternity, the two stood frozen in there position with unblinking eyes. The last time the two interacted or even saw each other was when he was going to fire her out of the agency. Their sudden encounter now caught them both off guard by surprise and somehow ....awkward.
"What are you doing out at a time like this?" Jungkook broke the silence, his voice rather heavy and coarse as he fails at his attempt to maintain his strong authoritative leader voice. "Err" Jieun jutted on her lower lip. "Milk tea?" She holds up the bag of milk tea in her possession in the air. However, the latter's facial expression clearly told her that he wasn't convinced. But Jieun couldn't care less about his expression because her attention was fully diverted to the male's shirt which was soaked in red blood from his fresh wound along his lower abandonment. She eyed the person before her from head to toe. His hair was slightly out of style, he had a small cut to his lips, little droplets of sweat was evident on his temples, his chest was heaving up and down quite rapidly, his shirt was obviously soaked in blood and his black jeans were rather dirty. You didn't have to be genius to figure it out. Jieun concluded that he was involved in some sort of fight. Why am I not surprised? With that attitude of his, she knew he's bound to have lots of enemies. "I should be asking you, which dog did you go fight with?" she extends forward with the intention of helping him. "Didn't I tell you not to ask questions?" His brow creased as he swat her extending arms away and continue to lean against the concrete wall for support. Jieun held both her hands up as reflex, giving the latter a 'okay buddy' look. "Alright buddy, not my problem." she retorted quite sassily before turning around to continue on her way. One. Two. Before she could take her third step, the rustling sound of someone struggling to walk echoed into her ear. Sealing her eyes shut, she inhales deeply followed by a long sigh. Turning on her heels, she greets the male with a poker face. Before the leader could utter a word, Jieun swiftly made her way to his side and swung one of his arm over her shoulder, securing one of her own arm around his waist as she supports him. "Mind your own---" "Shut it." Jieun commanded in a dead serious tone along with a deadly stare which seem to pierce one's soul. Then the unthinkable happened. Jeon Jungkook obediently kept his mouth shut and continued walking with her support. Speechless was an under statement. Other than his trainer and the CEO, no one has ever dared to command him more or less use such a tone on him, especially not a girl. Why? Simply because he was mainly the one in command and most people were scared of him. After a few twist and turns through the headquarters, the two finally reached the males room. Jieun decided to take all
