Just Wait, Ph!

"Ph, come back with me."

I was startled when I heard him at first but all that came to my face was a smile, he was addicted to me like a drug. I closed the door behind him and began to search the kitchen for a snack.

"I would love to, but you know I got to work. After the big show I'll spend a few more months in Japan and come for vacation." I said placing a banana milk in front of the pouting boy.

"But I'll get lonely in Korea without you~"

"If you keep pouting you'll get wrinkles." I kissed his nose with a smile.

After the next few lazy hours we parted ways, I stayed away from the airport to avoid rumors. I had to admit it felt like the sun had left the sky, the vibrancy he emitted was wondrous.

The bed felt emptier than normal, after a few days with a bed partner it was depressing; I couldn't sleep. I pulled my purse up from beside the bed and began to dig around in it, pulling out my sketch book and lucky pencil. It was only lucky because of the SHINee logo on it, I was gustily of still being a fan girl.

--

" Yee-Yee hows the project going?" Hee-sung was at it again distracting me from work again, that what you get when she attaches to you.

"Good, but very bad."

"Uh oh." she sat down when Taemin used to sit.

"With no theme or suggestions, it's all game. I'm not used to such creative freedom."

"Wah~ Must be nice."

I just shrugged and rested my head on the palm of my hand, drawing a blank again. I had already designed one outfit but the others made my mind blank, along with not being able to sleep recently as well.

"Not to be rude, but you look like crap."

"Wow thanks." I said sarcastically.

I shut my drawing pad and got up from my chair, I needed a little fresh air to clear the mind and wake myself up. I grabbed my hand phone and headed towards the elevator hitting the up button, the doors closed and I began to feel at ease. I began to think I was beginning to dread the things I loved.

When the doors opened and I stepped out, the way the setting sun reflected in the over head glass bridge was beautiful. I pulled my phone from my pocket and dialed my mothers number, I needed a talk.

"Hello? Phoebe? How are you?" My mothers voice was so soothing.

"Hi Mom! I'm doing good, just on the bridge; needed some fresh air."

The conversation was so good, every time I would call her I got emotional. She understood how I felt about Taemin and accepted my crazy schemes.

"How is that project going?"

"It's going slow, finding it hard to get original ideas."

I leaned against the railing watching several cars pass by, into the conversation with my mother. Engrossed in the conversation I failed to realize my impending doom; the way he slinked behind me and I only caught a glimpse in the reflection of the glass.

Handle deep into my side, I grunted into the phone catching my mother's attention. Her voice on the other side of the line calling my name; her voice getting further away and then I collapsed.

"Phoebe-ah!" Taemin called to me, everything I could see was behind my eyelids. The light shined through but I couldn't get my eyes open.

"Taeminnie! Taemin-ah!" I yelled, I felt hand pushing me down as I tried to find him with my hands.

The pain in my side began to grow intense, the voice morphing into someone else. "Yee- Soo! Oh my gosh!" I recognized the voice but couldn't remember it.

"Hello! Yes Emergency at--" the voice faded and so did I.

--

I shot up out of bed while gasping for air, I glanced around the room with panic. The purple walls and SHINee posters seemed so familiar. I quickly felt my side for my wound but found nothing, but I did find my old friend; weight.

I got out of bed and ran to the bathroom to check out my appearance in the mirror and to my horror I was staring back at eight-teen year old me.

"Oh no." I muttered in Korean.

"Honey what's the matter, you look so pale." My mother poked her head into the bathroom with a worried look on her face.

"Mom!" I instantly grabbed her into a big hug.

"I see your practicing Korean again?" She kissed my forehead.

"Oh yes!" I fixed my language back into English, it was very different.

"It's almost dinner time, if you want to join us that is. I know you're trying to get in shape, but I did try to make some of that cabbage stuff you tagged me in on the Facebooks."

"Kimchi?"

"Yes! Kimchi!" She turned around and headed back down the stairs.

I looked back to the mirror and smiled, I had missed having bright hair and the glasses were so comfortable. I made my way down the stairs and it hit me like a bag of bricks; I was still over weight and asthma was a . A few minutes and I joined my family at the table, with my mothers attempt at kimchi.

I took a few bites of her Kimchi and for someone who hadn't made it before it was good. I was asked about my day and how things were by my father, it had been forever since I saw him. Dinner went on like it used to and few finished eating, I couldn't wait to go back to my room.

This was weird, I could have sworn I went to the fan meeting and even began to date Lee Taemin. But here I was glasses and all of the weight from before. I searched my room for some kind of recognition of date and time. I picked up my smart phone and was greeted by my Taemin lock screen I smiled happily before looking at the date.

"2011?!"
