Kim Yerim is not exactly the definition of a standard female. To say that she was a complete tomboy is neither an overstatement or understatment. That's because she's not a tomboy. Yerim is an emotionless being, but she gets mislabelled as a "mysterious beauty," but that's not all true. She's doesn't have anything to hide and even the dumb boy Jungkook knows that. He knows that she's just an introvert and he knows that she hates him a lot. He can't blame her though because he likes to annoy her at every chance he gets. He finds it amusing whenever she subtly sends him her infamous death glare and he likes her emotionless attitude. That is what makes Yerim the Yerim he knows.
However, there's one thing that Jungkook wants to see.
Her smile.
Ever since the time when Jungkook was allocated next to Yerim during the school bus trip to a sacred shrine, he started to talk to her. Even after the school trip, he would continue to pester her, and he loved it. Nevertheless, he's never seen her smile, not even a happy expression. It's always been the same old expression --- her emotionless expression.
But then, finally one day, she takes initiative in speaking to Jungkook first.
"Do you ever think about what happened in your past life?"
Her question shocks him at first, but he answers her anyway.
"No, but why?"
She looks at him in the eye, and it kinda freaks Jungkook out.
