She gets silence, but it was expected since he wasn't there to hear her.
Of course, they don't even talk anymore ever since he broke up with her.
"Why did you break up with me?"
Yeri wants a reply however and the urge to reach for her phone is strong.
"Did you get a new phone number?"
Strangly enough, she still remembers his phone number off by heart. She reaches out for her phone on her bedside table, grabbing it. Wavering for a few seconds, Yeri turns the phone on and hesitates for a split second before tapping on contacts and scrolls down to find Jungkook's contact.
"Do you mind if I give you a call?"
She taps on Jungkook's contact and presses call. It was near midnight and he is probably asleep.
"Hello?"
Yeri frowns. It's not his voice but his friend's.
"Where's Jungkook?"
"..."
"Where is he?"
"Yeri, he's.....dead."
She drops her phone as the real Yeri wakes up to reality.
It was all a dream.
"Jungkook!"
Though it was just a dream, Yeri wants to make sure he's with her. She looks to her right, but he's not there.
"Jungkook?"
Tears stream down her face.
Now she's been calling his name for an hour.
