dinner for three

"Yes president. I understand....Okay, I will tell them...Okay. Thank you Have a good night," Kai gets off the phone with the president and looks at Clary and Suk Hee.

"He says that we're going to have to have dinner by ourselves tonight. Something came up and he won't be able to make it but we can order whatever we want, as much as we want. It'll all be on his tab," Kai announces. Suk Hee translates for Clary who goes wide-eyed.

"So we have to eat like this with Kai? By ourselves?" Clary whispers to Suk Hee. Suk Hee nods and immediately starts to worry. 'Perfect, I'm in love with Kai and the only person in the world who can read me easier than she can read a book is here.' Suk Hee fears that Clary would be able to tell that she has feelings for Kai and her friend would hate her for being a cheater. The three order and wait for their orders to be ready.

"So, Suk Hee, did the president already tell you about the video being published?" Kai asks, breaking the ice.

"Ah, yea he did. That's why I was there yesterday," Suk Hee explains. Clary watches the two of them continue talking and feels a bit left out. Not in a bad way, but rather in a third-wheel kind of way. Even though she has no idea what they're saying, she can feel the sincerity being exchanged with every word. She watches the two carefully. Suk Hee says something then Kai smiles a big goofy smile and responds which makes Suk Hee laugh. They continue like this for a while, until the food comes and Suk Hee realizes she's left out her best friend the entire wait time.

"Clary I'm so sorry!" Suk Hee bows her head and hugs her best friend.

"No no, I didn't feel left out, I promise. I just need to talk to you afterwards," Clary smiles and winks at Suk Hee, who already knows it will have something to do with Kai. She tried in the very beginning, but not caring about Kai is just something she can't seem to do. Kai on the other hand, seems to just be going where his feelings take him, still being careful although because of his public relationship with Krystal. The three of the start eating.

After their dinner, the three of them head down together to go to their cars and head home.

"Bye Clary. Bye Suk Hee," Kai bows to Clary and waves goodbye to both of them before entering his car. The ladies get in their car as well and the driver sets off for Suk Hee's house.

"So friend...wanna tell me about what just happened in there?" Clary investigates.

"Nothing happened in there," Suk Hee lies.

"You like Kai. He likes you. You have Mark. He has that one girl doesn't he? Or did they break up?" Clary states firmly. Suk Hee wasn't surprised at how easily Clary was able to put the situation together.

"Please don't hate me. I know I'm cheating and-"

"Whoah whoah. You're CHEATING on Mark???" Clary goes wide-eyed in shock.

"I mean yeah...I have feelings for someone else even though I'm with Mark," Suk Hee sinks into her seat, knowing that her friend would now hate her for all of eternity.

"Has anything physical happened? Like, kissing? Touching? Hugging? Hand holding? Dates? Something more....R rated???" The last part makes Suk Hee punch Clary in the arm.

"No!!! Absolutely not! No touching and DEFINITELY NO R RATED STUFF you nasty!" Suk Hee scolds Clary for her naughtiness.

"Then...what did you mean by cheating? Because you developing feelings for someone else when Mark has been more than absent and negligent of you isn't cheating. It's normal. But you do need to come clean with Mark," Clary hugs her best friend to comfort her. She knows that her innocent heart is deep in conflict right now and knows that a hug is what she needs most.

"I have another question, how did you come to have feelings for Kai? Don't tell me because of his face, because then the whole world feels you," Clary pulls away and asks.

"He's really charming, and kindhearted. I-I," Suk Hee freezes and stares a blank, wide-eyed stare out the window.

"I don't know," Suk Hee starts crying and falls into Clary's arms.

"Do you think maybe you're just getting the wrong idea because that's what you want to see out of Mark? Because you're missing MArk too much?" Clary asks while petting Suk Hee's hair. Suk Hee and Clary continue to talk and console Suk Hee's heart the entire ride home.

>Next Day<

Suk Hee and her parents drive Clary to the airport and wish her a safe flight home. Before she goes inside the gate where she can no longer be followed by anyone without a ticket, Clary approaches Suk Hee.

"Remember what I told you last night. It's your choice. Happy Birthday Sarah," Clary hugs her best friends and tells her she loves her before going inside the gate.

The ride home was not quiet, but Suk Hee was. She was deep inside her thoughts, thinking about what Clary said last night before they went to sleep.

>"You know, there is more than one person you are compatible with. Meaning, there is no such thing as a one true love. But I do think that soul mates exist. You can date any one of the 7 billion people on this planet, but it is up to you to decide who you want to stay with. Who is worth fighting for and who isn't. You have to work to keep your relationship with Mark alive, if that's what you want. If not, then you have to break up with him so you won't have to suffer and neither will he."<

Clary's words of advice brought Suk Hee warmth and hope that her and Mark's relationship wouldn't be hopeless. She is determined to get Kai out of her head and make Mark her one soul mate.

The next few days, Suk Hee's relationship with Kai has been strictly professional. Even with the sudden rise of her popularity because of the video that SM posted on their YouTube of their duet, she has made sure to keep Kai away from her. She has also made it her mission to see Mark more often. She spoke with her Dad to give her jobs at JYP and he has. Her workload with YG and SM have lessened and she is now more often at JYP, giving her and Mark more time together.

Even though JYP has a strict 3 year ban on dating, he made a special exception for Mark and Suk Hee so long as they keep their relationship hidden. If word gets out that Mark is currently dating, it would be bad for him and the group as well as the entire company's reputation. JYP let's them have private dates every now and then within the company whenever Suk Hee has to stay longer for papers she has to wait to submit to the company.

"Mark!" Suk Hee whispers loudly t
