Hyuna bit her lip to stifle her laugh. She watched Joon’s face contort slightly and then go back to normal. She waited a few seconds before she hovered her finger above his left eye. She traced the outline of his eye and then slowly moved down to his cheek and then finally to his lips. She didn’t dare to touch him because she feared she would break a spell of some sort. She took in all his features and memorized them for the millionth time. She watched him take in a deep breath and turn slightly. He mumbled something but she couldn’t understand him. She smiled when he pulled the covers closer and sighed. Hyuna glanced at the clock on his nightstand and saw it was almost 7am. She had woken up earlier than usual because she needed to go to work. She slowly stood from her kneeling position next to the bed. She cast one last look at his sleeping form before she quietly made her way out into the apartment. She needed to head to work and since she had spent the night at his place, she needed to leave earlier than normal. She searched around for her purse, frowning when she found no trace of it.

“You won’t find it.”

She jumped at the sudden voice but smiled anyway.

“What are you doing up?” she asked as she looked at him.

He stood in the doorway with bed hair and a puffy face but to her, he had never looked so handsome.

He smirked and shrugged his shoulders.

“I don’t know” he simply replied and walked up to her.

“No” she simply said before he even came close to her.

He frowned but continued to get closer.

“No” she said once again and stepped farther back.

“Yah” he said and finally grabbed her, turning her to face him.

She tried not to smile.

“I’m going to be late for work.”

He shrugged his shoulders to indicate he didn’t care. She playfully hit him on his chest. He took a couple steps forward, pushing her up against the front door. He pressed up against her and then kissed her sweet lips, very softly biting her lower lip. She didn’t fight him, she never could. She gave up very easily and wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss. His hands moved down her arms and came to rest on her hips. She smirked against his lips and pulled away.

“I really have to go to work now.”

He sighed and his lips before he went back into the bedroom. He came back moments later with her purse. He handed it to her wordlessly and she pouted when she saw his face.

“Why so sad?” she asked.

“Because I have to see you leave” he replied.

She rolled her eyes.

“I’ll be back to have dinner with you” she replied and she pulled the purse strap over her shoulder.

“What about tonight?” he asked.

She laughed and shrugged.

“I don’t know. I haven’t been home in two days.”

Joon sighed.

“I told you to move in with me” he replied.

Hyuna frowned. She and Joon had only been officially together for a month and she had no objection to living with him but she didn’t want to leave Hyosung alone in the apartment since Hyosung didn’t want to move in with Kikwang just yet.

“I’ll think about it” she replied.

Joon nodded and then smiled.

“Go” he said.

Hyuna stuck her tongue out and then quickly ran out the apartment before Joon could get his hands on her.

“What?” Kikwang asked as he flipped another page of his book.

Hyosung had been staring at him for a while now.

“I’m just looking at you” she stated and cuddled closer to him.

Kikwang smiled and shut his book.

“Yah, are you trying to seduce me right now?” he asked as he lowered his voice and raised an eyebrow.

They were lying in bed, barely clothed. Hyosung laughed softly and placed a small kiss on his bare collar bone. He tossed the book aside and rolled over her, slightly crushing her beneath him. He trailed kisses on her neck and all along her stomach. She giggled at the feeling and he lifted his head to look into her eyes.  She wrapped her arms around his neck and brought him down closer. She kissed his lips and he smiled against her soft lips. She pulled away. Kikwang smiled widely.

“You…” he whispered.

She stared at his lips.

“What?” she whispered back.

Kikwang carefully position himself, letting his body drop more, putting more weight on her.

“Are you trying to keep me from running away?” she asked.

He nodded.

“You…you know you’re going to marry me right?” he whispered, not looking away from her eyes.

She was surprised by his words but she was thrilled to hear him that.

“Really?” she whispered, her eyes scanning his face for hints of his joking manners.

He didn’t laugh but he smiled sincerely.

“Of course” he replied.

Hyosung couldn’t help but laugh.

“Is this a proposal?” she asked.

Kikwang shook his head.

“No, it’s not.”

Hyosung frowned.

“What the hell Kikwang?” she asked in slight anger.

She reached out to push him away but he grabbed her hand and placed it on his cheek.

“I’m telling you this because I want you to know what is coming. We’re going to get married one day, in case you want to leave me, you can’t because I already decided we are getting married.”

Hyosung rolled her eyes and pushed his face away, knocking him off the bed. He landed on the floor and she quickly got up from the bed and stepped on him as she made her way to the bathroom. She looked at him and sneered.

“What makes you think I would say yes anyway?” she muttered and closed the door.

Kikwang smirked and stood up, making his way over to the door.

“Because I love you and you love me. We can’t live without each other now. If you leave me, you could find someone better, but I won’t” he said.

Hyosung couldn’t help the huge smile that spread over her face as those words were spoken. She opened the bathroom door and found Kikwang down on his knee, holding out a ring. She couldn’t find words to speak. Kikwang bit his lip.

“I didn’t plan on doing this tonight. In fact I planned to do this in public with roses and romantically lit rooms, not in our underwear outside of the bathroom. I can’t give you everything in this world but as long as you’re with me, I can be the happiest in the world. I can make you happy and I can love you. Will that be enough?”

Hyosung could feel her tears run down her face. Kikwang stood up.

“Finish what you were saying” she managed to say.

Kikwang grinned and let out a nervous laugh.

“Yah! Jun Hyosung, will you marry me?”

She laughed happily as her tears continued to run down her face.

“If I don’t marry you, who will!?” she replied.

“Yah-”

“Shut up and put the ring on my finger!” she said as she jumped up and down.

Kikwang quickly slipped the ring on her finger and grabbed her face, smashing their lips together. He took her in his arms carried her out of the bathroom and back into his bedroom.

“Are you blind?” Min asked in slight annoyance.

Hong Ki raised an eyebrow and looked at her.

“Huh?” he asked in confusion.

Min cocked her head to the left, indicating to the girl who was watching them from the other side of the café.

Hong Ki furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

“What are you doing?” he asked.

Min frowned and crossed her arms across her chest.

“The girl over there keeps looking at you” she muttered.

“Really?” he asked.

She looked up but was surprised to find him staring at his phone.

“Yah? Don’t you want to know who I am talking about?” she asked as she nudged him.

Hong Ki shrugged.

“No. I’m not interested.”

Min rolled her eyes.

“But she keeps looking over here.”

“Oh?” he asked.

Min sighed in frustration before Hong Ki leaned over and kissed her fully on the lips. He pulled away and looked at his phone once more.

“Is she still looking?” he asked.

Min looked over and saw the girl scoff and leave her booth. Min smiled.

“She got mad” she replied and did a small victory dance.

“That’s good” he replied.

Min sighed and then threw a small piece of food at him to catch his attention.

“Yah! Why didn’t you care that I was upset? Do you think I like it when other girls look at you?”

Hong Ki looked up at her.

“Do you love me?” he asked.

Min raised an eyebrow but nodded.

“Of course I do.”

Hong Ki smiled.

“You know I love you. Of course I know it upsets you when girls look at me just like how I get upset about guys looking at you. But to me, no one compares to you and that’s why I never bother looking at anyone else. You’re the only thing I find beauty in. My eyes will never stray.”

“That’s so sweet.”

Both Min and Hong Ki looked up and found the girl Min had been talking about standing there. She ignored Min and looked directly at Hong Ki and he seemed to recognize her.

“It’s been a while Hong Ki” she said, resting a hand on her hip.

Hong Ki frowned but merely nodded, not saying anything. The girl rolled her eyes.

“So now you aren’t going to say anything?”

He sighed in frustration.

“What do you want?” he asked.

“To talk to you. Surely you have time for your first love” she said, glaring over at Min as she spoke.

“You’re wrong” replied Hong Ki.

“Excuse me?”

Hong Ki didn’t look at her.

“You weren’t my first love. We broke up because you cheated and I have nothing else to say to you. So beat it.”

Min smiled.

“You always seem to know the right things to say to make me smile.”

Hong Ki smiled proudly.

“Because I am the perfect match for you” he replied.

He stood up from the booth, pushing past the girl who had interrupted them and slammed down some money. Then he held out his hand to Min.

“Let’s go home.”

Min gladly took his hand. She smiled at the girl before she pushed past her, leaving with Hong Ki hand in hand.

Hyuna wrapped her arms around Joon, holding him tightly in her arms. He wrapped his arms around her body and kissed her forehead.

“Do you regret doing this?” he asked.

Hyuna shook her head and sighed.

“No…but I guess I can’t help but feel a little sad” she replied.

“Me too” he responded.

The train shook slightly and Joon held her tighter to his body.

They were leaving Seoul and heading back to their hometown, to live together and to start a new life. However, Hyosung would not be with them this time.

“We’ll go back to visit them” Joon said.

Hyuna nodded and looked up at Joon.

“Joon-oppa…do you love me?”

Joon smirked in embarrassment.

“What kind of question is that? Of course I do.”

He looked around and saw the grannies snickering.

“Aish” he muttered and turned away from their stares.

“She’s too pretty for him.”

“He looks pretty dumb and clueless.”

“Aigoo, she could probably do better.”

Joon frowned as the grannies continued to voice their opinions out loud. Hyuna laughed into his chest but didn’t voice a single word to defend him. He nudged her.

“Yah…defend my honor” he said.

Hyuna laughed again.

“They’re wrong oppa. You’re perfect the way you are.”

Joon couldn’t help but smile. He leaned down and whispered into her ear.

“Once we get to our new home, let’s have some fun.”

Hyuna grinned.

“Oh? What kind of fun?” she whispered.

“I’ll let you pick the video game this time” he replied, causing Hyuna to immediately frown.

“Video game?” she asked.

“Yeah. What’s more fun than playing a video game with your boyfriend?” Joon asked.

Hyuna scoffed and pushed him away.

“Yah Lee Joon, you really are clueless! You’re lucky I love you.”

Min wrung her hands together and bit her lower lip. The sudden opening of the door caused her to jump. Hong Ki walked in and looked at her with wide eyes.

“Well?” he asked eagerly.

Min rolled her eyes.

“Not ready” she voiced.

“Hong Ki checked his watch.

“You have to be kidding me! Let me at it!” he yelled out as he reached for the object.

“No! Are you crazy!?” she yelled out and tried to push him out the door.

Hong Ki yelped in pain as Min accidently stepped on him.

“Sorry!” she quickly said but still pushed him out anyway.

“Yah!! I want to see! It’s taking too long!” he whined.

Min rolled her eyes once more.

“So do I!” she defended.

They got silent and looked at each other.

“What do we do if-”

“We show our happiness like we really want to do” he replied, cutting her off.

“You aren’t mad? I mean, this is so sudden.” she voiced.

Hong Ki brought her close and kissed her tenderly.

“Of course I’m not mad. You know I want this” he replied and Min smiled.

The sudden chime of an alarm went off. They looked at each other and immediately bolted inside the bathroom. Min bit her lip and looked down in the sink and then quickly looked at Hong Ki. He looked at her, almost ready to burst from his curiosity.

“Well!?” he asked.

“Positive” she replied.

Hong Ki’s eyes almost popped out of his head. He eagerly reached for the stick and saw the small pink plus. He looked at Min in pure awe.

“I’m going to be a daddy!”

Kikwang looked over at Hyosung and smiled widely.

“Are you ready to receive this?” he asked.

Hyosung nodded eagerly and jumped up and down.

“Of course!!” she replied and squeezed his hand tightly.

“You know…there is no turning back now.”

“I know” she replied.

“This is it” he said.

Hyosung rolled her eyes and nodded.

“I know! Come on! I want it to see it” she said.

Kikwang smiled once again and then kissed her.

He pulled her through the double doors and up to the small table in the middle of the room. The elderly man looked at them and smiled. He placed the paper down on the desk. Both Kikwang and Hyosung looked at it in wonder. The paper looked ordinary but for them it was life changing. They looked at each other in excitement.

“It’s official” the elderly man said.

He looked at the couple in front of him and smiled.

“You are now officially married.”

Hyosung squealed in happiness while Kikwang smiled happily. He looked at his now wife.

“You…you’re officially mine now.”

“I own you now” she said in response.

They laughed and kissed before they happily grabbed their marriage certificate before heading out into the world as a married couple.
