My friend told me that I should have a boyfriend. I don’t have time to date because I’m busy with work and my studies. And I think, the idea of having a romantic relationship is a major distraction for me.

I’m in my last year in high school. I work in a convenience store across Hongik Bookstore. I’ve been working here for months now. I started working here last spring. It doesn’t mean my family can’t afford my tuition or can’t sustain our daily needs. I just want to prove them and myself that I don’t need to depend on my parent’s money. I need to learn how to earn on my own.

I believe in the near future that I will meet the right guy for me. Because for me, people don’t seek for their partner. They wait for it.

Just like in movies, novels, or fairytales. Your true love will come unexpectedly that will surely surprise you.

I know my story is different from fictions. I don’t think that I should lose my shoe or eat an apple or prick my finger with spinning wheel’s needle to meet my Prince Charming.

Just like what I have said. “It will come unexpectedly” and planned.
