~ Flashback: 3 Years Ago ~

Dongwoon was 17 years old when he competed in the National Junior Hairstylist Competition.

"I will win this competition and get 5 wins in a row," he thought as he smirked at the other young hairstylist getting their number at the front table.

"Remember don't get distracted and make your daddy proud," his dad said. 

"I know that dad. Why are you even here..?" Dongwoon asked, looking at his father in distaste.

"Of course to support my lovely and brilliant son," he said as he embraced his son, Dongwoon.

"Get off of me you, old geezer!"

"Daddy feels hurt. Why do you hate daddy so much?" the older male whined like a kid. 

"You should already know why," Dongwoon muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Please report to your station," the announcer yelled loudly in the room.

"Where is Number 2?" he thought to himself.

"If your looking for the station for Number 2, its on the right," he heard a sweet voice said.

"Thank you," Dongwoon said as he turned around to face the short girl.

- Dongwoon POV -

As I turned around I saw the most cutest girl. She had long, black hair with balanced bangs and was wearing a tshirt with a vest and shorts.

"Thank you," I said, blushing. 

"No problem," she simply replied."Why don't we walk together since I'm next to you see."

She was Number 3.

"I guess, it's ok," I tried to stay cool, even though I was quite happy at her suggestion. 

"Great, let's go then," she flashed me one of her stunning smiles. I felt my heart skip a beat for a moment. 

'She has a pretty smile,' I thought.

We walked to our station as the announcer talked about what the competitors are going to be doing to the audience.

"Let's the competitors begin!" The announcer yelled.

'I must win to show her my cool side,' I thought, taking quick glances at the small framed girl beside me. 

~ 1 hour later ~

"And the winner is..." the announcer began, creating a dramatic pause, "Number 3!"

'WHAT!! Noooo! I lost my winning record and my chance,' I yelled in my mind, completely devastated at what happened. 

"Second place goes to Number 2," the announcer smiled.

I walked up the stage gloomly as the judges smiled at me and congratulated me. What's there to congradulate when I didn't win? The judges gave us dolls that looked like us. I hated it.

"Here are your dolls to remember this moment," the judges said joyfully.

I saw the girl going up to her dad and 2 boys. I was mad, I didn't like the results. I took her doll instead of mine and ran out. I ran to my car and started to drive away.

- Author's POV -

"Wow Dongwoon, I didn't think you would do such a thing," Jaejin tsked, shaking her head. 

"I know but I could understand it was his first love right?" Junhyung said, but ended it with a questioning tone that made it turn into a question. 

"Yah, she was not my first love plus I never even liked her!" Dongwoon yelled, cutting at his wig madly.

"Oh yeah, Dongwoon. I researched about Jung Nicole and I found out that her family runs a hair salon," Junhyung reported, completely ignoring whatever the male said to him.

"Tsk, who cares. I bet it isn't much of a salon with her type of hair," he smirked. "Yah Jaejin, put down that doll right now before I have to get serious," Dongwoon threatened. 

"Too bad, I want to play with it," Jaejin said playfully.

"Aish fine but don't loose it."

"Neh, hyung" Jaejn plainly replied and took it around school.

After walking around for a few minutes, he decided to stop by the restroom before going back to the club room.

"I have to use the restroom so you have to stay right here," he told the doll, setting it on the desk. He didn't feel the ounce bit silly talking to a lifeless doll. 

"Why is this doll here?"

Sorry for not updating for a long time. My keyboard wasn't working so well so I'm using another computer. I'm having a poll soon for adding a new character as Nicole's "brother". Also a poll about who Nicole will end up with so please look forward for it!~~
