Chapter VII.
The FallenJisoo is cold and unfeeling.
No matter how the Board tries to dissuade him, he is resolute.
He must get Jeonghan back.
No, Soonyoung, you don’t understand.
You have Jihoon right here.
I must have Jeonghan back.
Jisoo’s eyes harden even more so.
Damn that stupid Board of advisers.
Remind me to replace them all once this war is over.
Damn that stupid ing Emperor of Hell.
Damn him to Hell.
But he already has been.
Jisoo smiles coldly at his own joke.
“Let the war begin.”
---
“.”
Jun runs to the War Wing, only to find most of his warriors – and many citizens – decked in armor, clutching weapons, ready for battle.
Ready to fight.
Jun’s heart trembles.
He still remembers the attacks launched upon him when he first arrived, the young boy hated by much of the population, crying silently, alone.
Rising to power, gaining the respect of Hell.
Jun ascending.
He knows how much they look up to him.
Him their leader.
Jun blinks back tears and clears his throat, nodding.
“Ready?” he manages to ask, and all the people of Hell raise their weapons in a salute.
“READY!”
Jun smirks at the deafening roar.
“Let’s show them just what Hell is made of.”
