He dances.

That's what he loves.

It doesn't matter how you look.

It doesn't matter where you come from.

The only thing that matters is you and how you use what you've got.

And the best?

It makes you forget.

When he dances he isn't thinking.

He is just listening to the music and moving his body.

Yes, Hoseok loves it.

But it is also very exhausting.

“Hey, when you're done, can you please move, so we can use this part of the room, too?”

He is in an official dance studio.

It might be in the slums, but it's still used frequently.

Hoseok turns his head to the others.

“Sure.”

Hoseok stands up and goes outside to sit down on a small bench.

“You're really good, you know?”

Some of the guys who also went outside after their practice come closer to him.

“Thanks, I'd love to return the compliment, but to be honest I wasn't paying attention to any one in there.”

The boys laugh: “Yeah, we could tell.”

“You were so into your dancing, it was amazing.”

Hoseok offers them a smile.

“Well yeah, we have to go now. Maybe we'll see you again sometime?”

“Yeah, sure thing. Bye.”

Then Hoseok sits alone again.

But wasn't that what he always wanted?

The recognition of others?

At least that's what he always believed.

But now he realized..it's not their recognition he wants.

These were not the people he wants to excite.

Not the ones he wants to bring laughter to.

Never the boys Hoseok wants to be with so desperately again.
