Living StorySoyung sat in her room on Friday night, with her bag open on the edge of her bed and her hands sorting through stray papers. Pulling out a piece of lined paper out with little doodles on it from a math class, she glanced over it. Crumpling it up, she threw it into the bin in her room. Sighing a bit, she took out her planner, opening it to the current week and quickly scanning over the homework she had. A test on Tuesday, a project due on Thursday and two papers for Friday. Groaning, the teenage girl grabbed her binder from her bag and opened it up to a marked page. She needed to finish her papers, since she hadn't started the one about a current event. Biting at her lip, she took out her phone, looking up a local newspapers website. Her eyes quickly scanned the writing, until she found an article that sounded interesting. Sighing, she took a mechanical pencil and began writing down an opening sentence. Surely if she worked on it, she would be able to make a rough draft and make it better, then type it up on her computer and print it for her teacher. After half an hour, she had nearly finished, thanks to her constant thinking of ideas of how to draw attention to the article. Grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, she took a long sip, and was about to head upstairs.

"It was nothing special, the same really." She responded, her expression blank as she watched her mother's eyes fill with worry. She didn't know why her mom was always so anxious around her, because really, Soyung was fine.
"Is something going on at school?" Her voice was light, feathery like a cloud. Soyung stared at her mom, watching as she gripped the couch cushion, watching as she had to take a deep breath to center herself. For some reason Soyung wanted to cry.
"Nothing's going on at school. I'm fine. There's only one thing bothering me, and her father creates so many loop holes for her and she will always be a bother to me." She spoke, her grip tightening on the water bottle in her hands, a lump forming in .
"Soyung, is this really just about your father? You never talk about him, about the incident." Her mom approached the subject softly, because she was
