Living StorySoyung sat in her classroom, eyes fluttering over the board as the teacher wrote out the math problem. She had no idea how he got that answer, so she was really trying to pay attention to the formula, but there was one thing stopping her. Two rows beside her sat Gina, she could feel her gaze toward her, and she felt like the walls of the room were closing up on her. Soyung felt a deep tremor in her stomach, and the dryness of made her feel as if she would be sick any moment. The girl she considered her enemy sat at her desk, her legs crossed and her eyes still set on Soyung. The only time she would glance away from her is to look at her nails, because Gina had just gotten them done and was very pleased with the little rhinestones adorned on the tip. Soyung began bouncing her knee up and down, a sure symbol she was nervous. Her heart beat like a drum in her chest, her eyes staring at the black marker on the whiteboard. That variable times that, divided by that, minus that to the power of four, then you take the brackets and. Gina was still staring at her when the teacher turned to ask if anyone had anymore questions. Soyung had a question alright, can she leave? Can she leave class? Can she get a drink of water? Can she dry heave in the bathroom? Because she really felt as if she might be sick.
The bell rang, and Soyung was the fastest in standing she had ever been. She nearly whacked the guy sitting in front of her with her backpack and she slung it over her shoulder. She was the first one out of the class, squishing through two guys waiting for their friend by the door. Sighing deeply, her eyes flickered all around the hall as she turned left and made a run for it. Running was obviously against the rules, but she really only was paying attention to getting as far away as she could from Gina. While running up the stairs, she glanced over her shoulder to make sure the girl wasn't following her like a creepy axe murderer would. When she looked back up, she almost died at the sight of someone standing there looking at her.
"Holy , oppa. You really scared me, like really scared me. I felt myself nearly go into cardiac arrest." Soyung babbled, running her fingers through her long hair in frustration. Kyungil stood at the top of the stairs, his hands in his pockets and his eyebrow raised at the sudden strange aura around the girl. He did indeed care deeply about her, so he was very curious as to why she was so jumpy and was acting like someone would walk around the corner and stick a knife in her.
"Soyung, are you okay?" He began, watching as she walked up the few last steps and grabbed onto his wrist. Of course, he let the younger girl drag him toward the hallway and into a corner where no one would hear them. Sighing, he reached for her hand and leaned slightly forward. "Hey. Can you tell me why you're being so paranoid? It's making kinda uneasy." Kyungil whispered, watching as she took a small step back and her dry lips.
"Okay, okay. I'm okay oppa. It's just." She stopped talking, remembering the threats Gina made to her friends, to Kyungil. Her eyes widened and she looked up at him, finding immediate comfort in his deep brown eyes staring at her in concern. Though she felt a deep punch of guilt for what she was about to say to him. "Nothing. I watched something scary... It's kind of messing me up. Don't worry about me." She smiled a bit, letting go of his hand and clearing .
"Soyung. Does this have to do with whatever the hell you and Sihyoung talked about? Because I told you he can't be trusted. There's a reason he's just a friend and not someone I make sure to keep in close contact with, he's dangerous." Kyungil said, frowning a bit. The expression made the girl feel slightly hurt, because she didn't do anything to make the older male look so sad. Seeing him sad made her feel worse.
"No, it doesn't have anything to do with him. Stop worrying."
"If I find out you're lying
