Living StorySoyung parted ways with the boy a couple hours after school ended, where they went to his house and played around for a while. It ended with Kyungil picking him up and carrying her around the living room before showering her with tiny kisses, and Soyung couldn't breath from how hard he was laughing when he ended up falling over on top of her; thankfully they landed on the couch. Now she was circling around displays at a beauty store, her eyes following the brand names and pigmented palettes. She came here because of the party Kyungil invited her too, and she noticed she only had neutral eyeshadow that she wore every single day. She wanted to try something new, making something that will be so different that she'll end up liking it. Soyung has never done a smokey eye before, she's seen videos and many people wear them. But she's always scared she'll end up looking like she got punched in the eye instead. Soyung passed the area with false lashes, and her eyes sparkled. She's always wanted to try those too, she was scared of putting them on crooked and one popping off in the middle of the day. Maybe she could ask for a workers recommendation for beginners? Turning around to glance over the tops of the displays, hoping the catch the eye of a salesperson. Though instead she looked straight at the back of the one girl she would not be happy to see, and groaned softly. Gina was happily putting things into her basket, there was probably $300 of makeup already in there, but she was a collector. Soyung ducked, almost smacking her head on a mirror and then waddling toward an isolated corner of the store. She found some highlighters and was busy rubbing them on the back of her hand to notice.
"Soyung, nice to see you." Bull, however the younger girl shared a fake smile and nodded her head.
"Yeah of course. You've been MIA for a little while." Soyung didn't bother looking at her, too busy looking at the pearlescent powders on her skin. She's wasted way too much time on Gina, and today was supposed to be a day of realization and self help. But here she was, ruining it with the very sight of her face.
"That's sweet of you to notice." Gina said with a eating grin on her face, and Soyung moved out of her way as she tucked a highlighter into her basket.
"So I guess you have some secret plan. Working on another way to hurt my friends?" She wasn't going to hide it, that was bitter and burning in anger. Soyung was probably never going to get over what she did to her best friend, and it was at times like this that she needed Dokyun to help situate her. She clenched her fists and sighed, deciding that hitting her across the face wasn't going to solve anything.
"You're clever, though it's not going to be that easy. I'm not going to tell you my plan, where's the fun in that?" If she didn't stop acting like this, Soyung was going to lose her and stab her with a pair of tweezers.
"Listen up Gina. If you ever go close to Minjae ever again, I'm going to do everything in my power to give you the same pain you have given her. If you ever even think about touching any of my friends, I will fight for them. And if you ever, ever think of touching Kyungil. You won't live to see another day." Maybe that was a bit harsh, but Soyung wasn't joking.
"You don't know me ." Gina was almost offended, scoffing in disbelief as she rolled her eyes. "She has already given me more pain than you can imagine."

She was just thankful she could finally fill her in with her life, and now she felt strangely fulfilled. Thankfully, the doctor found nothing out of the order, and was even proud to announce she was healthy. Minjae looked down at her phone, wondering if she should call her boyfriend or maybe she should surprise him with a visit? Or maybe his sister was home? It was too risky and anxiety filled space in her gut to stop her from thinking like that anymore. Perhaps she could just text him and not invade his privacy.
