13 ; Born to die
Living StorySoyung sat outside, sitting at the picnic tables near an exit of the school. She had a spare block and it was the last class of the day. The thing was, today she was just trying to relax, to be happier, to get a grip on herself. While sitting there, she had began to play on her phone, watch dumb videos her and Minjae would film when they got bored. She had to admit, today was a good day, and she was going to go grab some food after school which made it even better. No one had bothered her today, and best of all, she hadn't seen Gina all day. Humming to herself, the girl some music after plugging in her earbuds and set it down so she could study for her upcoming test. As she was in the middle of taking out her colourful pencils to write notes, she noticed someone walking over. At first she didn't look up, but when they stopped and waited, she glanced up. When she saw Dokyun, she paused and pulled her headphones out, and then smiled softly at the male.
"Well hi there." She said, looking up at him as he walked around the table and sat down next to her. She turned to look at him, and watched as he leaned his elbow against the table.
"Hello, how is your day going so far?" Dokyun asked, raising a brow as he diverted his kind eyes to look at the girls face. She didn't mind the sudden encounter, since she did trust this boy and he seemed to have good virtues. Though she has been wrong about people before, anyone that was friends with Yijeong had to be nice. Since Yijeong was the happiest kid she had ever met.
"It's good actually, spent lots of time alone, just thinking. Also found candy I bought yesterday in my locker so even better. And I haven't seen her all day, the girl you had to literally pull me away from." Soyung murmured, nodding her head as she then glanced back down and slowly continued to write out her notes. "Really thank you for the other day, I might have done a really stupid thing. How is your day going?" She said while highlighting the subtitle of her notes, her eyes glancing up a few times to look at Dokyun, who was watching her work diligently.
"That's good. I actually came here because I have a spare which I guess you do too? I wanted to walk around outside, and saw you so figured I'd stop by to say hello." He said, his eyes rising to look around, in which he then froze up and cleared his throat. "I'm afraid you may have just jinxed it Soyung-ah." Confused, she looked up at him, and followed his eyes which then fell on to Gina who was walking right over.
"Oh come on? Not even one day?" She groaned, rolling her eyes as she then moved hair out of her eyes. When Gina strutted over in flat sparkly sandals, and then stopped by the edge of the table, Soyung pulled a straight face. The girl flipped her hair from her shoulder and set her expensive purse down on the table top. "Um. Gina, can I help you?" She asked, holding her own hand on top of her notes, her gaze strong against hers. When she laughed and looked at Soyung, she could only cringe a bit. "If I can't, then what the heck do you want?"
"Actually you can help me, but it seems we have company." Soyung looked at Dokyun and frowned.
"You interrupted us act-"
"Soyung, it's okay. I'll see you around, Gina, it was nice seeing you." He spoke as he stood up from his spot, his hand on Soyung's back as he glanced at her with apologetic eyes. Soyung deflated like a balloon when she was left alone with the one person she wanted to push in a ditch and run away.
"Okay, so now tell me what do you want."
"I don't want you to tell Kyungil one thing about me. You say that 'that girl' stopped, and if you ever name him to me, it won't be your sheep getting hurt, it will be you." She s
