Living Story
Sweaty bodies, bass blasting music, dim lights and the strong smell of alcohol. Somehow Soyung managed to focus only on the older boy, no bothering with anyone's attention but his. She focused on his hands holding her waist, the closeness of their bodies and then the way he breathed down her neck. It wasn't uncomfortable, to be dancing so intimately when everyone else was as well. Instead the girl let go of herself for a while, letting her hips roll with his and her eyes flutter closed. She never thought in her whole life she would be following the crowd and grinding to music with her significant other, but she liked the feeling of being close to him. When the song ended, she turned herself around and wrapped her arms around his neck softly. He smiled at her, his deep brown orbs staring into hers, and she felt so full.
Soyung reached her hand up and gently ran her fingers through his hair.
"So, dancing? What do you think?" Kyungil held her hips still, eyeing her with carefulness and a soft observation. She swayed with the music, a dreamy sigh leaving her lips and her doe-eyes excited.
"It's great... I've never danced like that with someone." She pushed herself closer to his body, loving the feeling of his body against hers and the way they were like puzzle pieces. "I'm glad it was with you..." He never rushed her, or was pushy, or touched her too much in public or let his hormones take control. Instead he was gentle and hesitantly led her through the routine, not wanting to make her uncomfortable.
"I'm glad I was your first" he kissed her neck softly, causing her to tilt her head and hum. "I would be jealous if I saw you dirty dancing with someone else." She giggled a bit, pulling back from him and sticking out her tongue.
"Dirty dancing... I'd hardly call it that." Soyung eyed the people around them, eyes stopping on a couple practically ing each other and she scrunched her nose in distaste. "Not compared to everyone else." Then she saw someone else busying themselves with being pinned to the wall. She decided that enough was enough, and became small behind Kyungil's shoulder.
"Hey if you wanted to we-"
"No... It was nice how it was..." Soyung hesitated, hooking arms with him and averting her eyes toward the floor. "Some other time maybe." She can't believe she let it slip, but before Kyungil can say anything clever, a tall blonde haired male walked over, wearing a expensive brand black graphic shirt, ripped light blue jeans and what looked like timberlands.
He put a hand out as he approached her boyfriend, the two of them greeted each other with a friendly hug and then the strangers eyes fell on Soyung. She blinked a couple times at him, watching as he eyed her up and down, then nodded in acknowledgment. The girl raised an eyebrow, wondering if he was mentally grading her based on looks and body or if he was judging her style choices.
"Hey I'm Namjoon, this is my party, and my house." He smiled softly at the girl, his dimples deep even with the slightest sign of friendliness and she smiled back.
"Nice to meet you, I'm-"
"Soyung right? Kyungil is always somehow talking about you." He was amused by how the older punched him in the shoulder and huffed impatiently. Namjoon chuckled at that, turning his attention back to the girl who was now standing beside her lover rather than behind him.
"Y-yeah, I'm Soyung... You have a really big house, what do your parents do?" She was curious, how could what looked like a college student have such a big luxurious house.
"Dad's a CEO, Mom's an artist." He nodded toward the wall, where Soyung swore she saw the most beautiful piece of art ever made. The sets of paintings he had on the pale yellow walls were purely, art. The dreamy scenes, delicate and light colour palettes. Soyung was mesmerized, slipping away from the conversation to trace the face in her favourite piece, where a girl's face merged with a rose. She was busy in awe when she felt a hand squeeze her side and she turned slowly to look at her boyfriend. He smiled warmly at her, directing her attention to the tall boy across from her, and suddenly she felt shy. Soyung felt her face get hot, but she didn't know if she was blushing or if they could see it under her glamorous makeup.
"She's very good... I can't believe i've never seen it before." Soyung spoke softly, the words she was saying seemed to be right, as Namjoon's grin got bigger and he nodded back toward her.
"Mom likes to keep all her original work, she's only sold pieces in the past, and put the funds into her savings account. But they did sell for a big sum." As he spoke, the girl couldn't help but agree. If she was a collector, she would pay a lot of money to have these gorgeous paintings grace her collection. The girl tucked a piece of her curled hair behind her ear, giving the boys a clear view of the pretty little crystal flowers on her earlobes. Namjoon shot a glance toward the other boy, and they shared a small moment of silence before someone spoke again. "Are you enjoying the party?" Namjoon took a step forward as a girl rushed around him, muttering a halfhearted excuse me and he cringed, knowing his bathroom would not be clean in the morning.
"There's a ton of people." Kyungil was deemed surprised, and the other boy laughed a bit.
"People invited people who invited people." He turned his head to look at the staircase, perfect timing too as a tall boy wearing circular thin framed glasses was tiptoeing his way down. Namjoon's eyes were locked to him, never leaving as he watched him move his fluffy hair from his face and shrug his shoulders. Soyung had no idea what was going on, but she busied herself with holding Kyungil's arm tightly. The male was busy in his own way, watching Namjoon carefully as his eyes sparkled with some sort of feeling.
"Uh do you two want a drink?" He turned back to them after the unnamed boy was lost in the crowd, and Kyungil gave him a knowing look. Namjoon was leading the couple back to the kitchen again, the girl quickly walking to catch up to them as she was busy looking around once more. A glass bottle was presented to the older boy, Namjoon smiling at him and then he handed one toward Soyung. She didn't hesitate in grabbing it, opening it and taking a small sip. Then they say goodbye to Namjoon, as he went to follow the brown haired boy with broad shoulders back up the stairs.
"Will you be fine here alone?" Kyungil spoke, moving the empty glass of water across the counter and looking at his girlfriend. Her eyes widened, gently tilting her head up to look at him and then pout. She was currently resting against his chest, leaning against his body and enjoying the closeness. Soyung looked around them, seeing no one that would approach her and then she nodded.
"I'll be fine..." He gave her a long kiss, before pulling away and leaving her to go to the bathroom. The girl watched him leave, turning on her heel to look at the mirror across from her, and checking over her face. Everything was still on, her lashes still fluttering and her cheeks still glowing. Soyung was quietly fixing her curly hair, a sigh leaving her lips when a piece of hair wouldn't cooperate, but she figured it would be alright after moving around a bit. She turned to go back, gasping as she was met with someone's chest, and she looked up urgently.
A raven haired boy was looking down at her, his eyebrow raised and smirk clear on his lips.
"What's a pretty girl like you doing alone?" He murmured, the sound of his voice making her shiver and suddenly she feared responding.
"Waiting." She answered, trying to walk around him when he stopped her with stepping in front of her. Soyung was angry, and sad at the same time. She wanted to cry in frustration and in fright.
"Waiting? That's kinda boring, how about you come with me?" Oh, so that's what he wanted. Was it because of the dress? It wasn't that short. She frowned, shaking her head and going around him again. She thought she had successfully escaped, until her wrist was grabbed and she was pushed hard against the wall. Soyung let out a small cry, nearly falling over her own feet and she tried to struggle but he pinned her hands above her head. "Oh come on. Don't you want to have a little fun?" He leaned closer, uncomfortably close and the girl wanted to scream but she didn't know if she could be heard over the loud music.
"Let go, I'm not interested." She said, trying to kick at him, but instead he forced his knee between her legs and she let out a small distressed sob. "Please, stop." Her voice was highpitched, her eyes tightly closed as he dipped his head down. He was so close to her, so close she could smell the alcohol in his breath and she felt sick. She wanted to puke at this point, all the words were stuck in in a form of a lump and her body was so cold suddenly."Don't don't, please!" He was about to attach to her neck when suddenly he wasn't there anymore, and instead his presence was replaced by a loud crash. Soyung fell to her knees, gasping for air and hugging herself tightly. Her eyes opened and though they were blurry she could see her boyfriend was back. He was rubbing at his knuckles, after landing a hard punch to the raven haired boy's face and pushing him to the ground.
"Don't ever ing touch her again." He noticed a couple people were watching, a few people gasping and chatting about it. Kyungil went to the girl, placing a hand on top of her head and shushing her cries. "Hey, baby it's
