16 ; Our insanity
Living StoryCurled up beneath the foreign blanket, there was a brief moment of complete silence before the melodious song of birds surrounded her mind. Soyung laid there, her eyes not open yet, and just thought for a second. She could feel warmth at her side, which she knew was obvious body heat, she could feel the comfort of having a good nights sleep, though she felt like a piece of her mind was missing. Sitting up, rubbed at her eyes and opened them finally, the blur coming into focus. When she saw Kyungil, she smiled lazily, reaching over and making sure the blanket was fully covering his frame. Rolling off to the side of the bed, she then stood up and made her way over to her purse. Opening it, she took out a few things she needed for the morning, makeup wipes since she forgot last night, and a hair tie. She made her way in to the bathroom, turning on the lights and sighing, she looked like a mess, but she didn't look dead, which was an improvement. Opening up the packet of wipes, she then proceeded to take off all her excess makeup, then washed her face with cold water, and put her hair up in a pony tail. When she was all done, she sighed, staring at herself in the clean mirror. She knew she was still in Sihyoungs house, and she didn't know if she was the only one awake. Frowning, she left the bathroom, and made her way down the hall to the staircase. Once she went downstairs, she sat herself down on the stool she was in last night. Taking her phone out, she scrolled through a few messages, until one caught her eye and she stopped for a second.
Yijeong had texted her to be careful and trust nobody. What did that mean? She set her phone down, clearing before she proceeded to look around the sunrise lit kitchen, and she leaned against the counter. Yijeong must have been warning her about Gina, but did that mean she had a new plan? Did that mean she was going to hurt them again? Did she find out about her getting closer to Kyungil? That's when it snapped into place in her mind, and she gasped. She had forgotten they kissed, how did she forget? A few drinks did that to her really, jumbled up her thoughts. She heard footsteps and stiffened, not because she thought Gina would come out of nowhere, but because she didn't know who it was. Walking into the kitchen, she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding at the sight of a wide awake Sihyoung.
"Good morning." He said, opening his cupboard and glancing through it. He took out a mug and glanced toward her. "Coffee?" He then added, watching as she nodded before taking out another cup for her. Setting them down on the counter, he began to brew coffee, his eyes never rising from the process.
"Good morning, did you sleep well?" Soyung asked quietly, watching as he made coffee for the both of them. He turned to look at her, leaning back against the counter closest to him and humming.
"I slept okay, it took a while for everyone to really leave. You guys went upstairs pretty fast... Minjae and Jaeho stayed down here until three in the morning, then they went up." Sihyoung explained, observing the girl who was now playing with her own fingers.
"Oh really? I guess I was just tired."
"You seem a little nervous."
Soyung looked up at him, stopping her movements and pursing her lips. She hadn't done anything to display that certain feeling. Though when he said that, she instantly thought about what Yijeong told her, and what Jaeho thought of Sihyoung, and she was a little worried.
"I'm fine." She said quickly, a little alarmed at the way he looked at her with almost no emotion.
"Is there something wrong?"
"Does it look like something's wrong?"
"You left your phone open to Yijeong's message, I can read it from here."
"Well. There's this girl who's out to ruin my life and Yijeong told me to be careful so I am paranoid she's going to murder me." Soyung said quietly, clearing as she watched him turn back to pour the hot beverage for them.
