kim woo bin pov:
“woo bin ah, come sit here” and as I took a seat beside her she caught my hand and spoke
“promise me something woo bin ah”
“what is it omma ?”
“promise me first”
“arasso, I promise” I said
“I want you to marry one of my old friend’s daughter ” and that instant the only thing I became conscious is of shin hye, my girlfriend, and my best friend too, she has come with me along to our home, it was me who picked her up from her shoot and we thought of going for a date later, and I made her listen all this
“I promise omma” and left the room to shin hye who already left the spot she was standing previously,
“shin hye ah, wait” and as I said that she quickened her foot steps and started running I ran outside following her
“please listen to me shin hye ah”
“what is there to listen oppa ? you promised your mother that you will marry some other girl, what the hell is left to listen huh ?” she shouted at me and then fell down crying, I wrapped my hand around her shoulders and waited for her to calm down
“shin hye ah, it’s not what you think”
“then what is it oppa ?” sobbing a little
“ I only promised to marry her shin hye ah, I didn’t promise to stay in the marriage, when I meet her I will explain this to her, only if she accepts to this, then only I will marry her whoever it is.  ”
“what do you mean by that oppa ?” she asked me
“I will divorce her after a year, it will be marriage on papers till then” I said to her as well as myself too. After dropping her home, I returned to find hyung waiting in my room
“what did shin hye say ?” he came directly to the point, but I don’t know yet if he was asking it out of concern for shin hye or that to know what did I decide to do with omma’s request.
“I already promised omma that I will marry that someone hyung”
“will you be fine woo bin ah?” he asked and I nodded, I guess I will be fine, first I have to meet her and talk things out,
“her name is kim so eun, she will be waiting for you at hotel golden world’s restaurant and I have already booked a table for you both”
“thanks hyung” he nodded and left, hyung is in between, he couldn’t take my side nor omma’s side but I am always on omma’s side. I can’t disobey her.

“are you kim so eun sshi?” I asked the girl at our table, she didn’t respond for a second,
“kim so eun sshi ??”
“de ??” she finally said coming out from her thoughts and asked “do you know me ?”
“de, nice to meet you I am” but before I could introduce she did it herself with excitement
“kim woo bin, the kim woo bin, I know you, my sister is a huge fan of yours”
“de kumao” I thanked her and we took our seats
“shall we order something ?” she nodded and we placed our orders, and guessing that we have settled a bit I decided to talk to her on the topic
“so have you dated anyone before ?”
“ani, this is my first date, kind of first time I have gone out with someone”  really ? She hasn’t dated anyone? Not even one at least? Weird.  Then I couldn’t take my conversation otherwise, I guess it is better if I go straight
“well, I am dating someone already and I like her a lot, and came to this meeting upon my mother’s request”
“oh really? I came on my mother’s request too, she actually made a promise to her old friend, I mean they made a promise to one another, and I happened to see you mother today early morning too” oh, that is why I couldn’t find her before I went to the studio,  but hearing her reply made me sort of relieved
“really? I am glad that you too have no interest in this marriage then” she then gave me a weird look
“so what are you trying to say then kim woo bin sshi?” she got my point I guess,
“well, I want this marriage to end after a year, we can divorce then, and this will be a marriage on paper only”
“I have a condition too” she said almost immediately as I finished
“what is it so eun sshi ?” I asked
“I don’t want your family to be paying my debts, I will pay them on my own and I will be working even after marriage”
“I accept, so we have a deal then?” I asked extending my hand for a shake
“deal” and we both shook hands.
“Go inside so eun sshi, and thanks for accepting the deal, have a good night’s sleep” I said as we reached her house, it was an apartment building, I don’t know if I should go in or not too, she just nodded and left. I checked my phone to see a message from shin hye saying
oppa what happened?
I dialed her number and after a few rings she picked up
“oppa, what happened? Did she accept?” shin hye asked worriedly
“de shin hye ah, she too was forced into this marriage just like me, and she has no problems with a divorce after a year”
“chincha ? oppa that is really awesome oppa, I have to meet this girl, she is an angel oppa, I was worried that she may cause problems, but she accepted with just one talk, really oppa, she is an angle” shin hye got so happy that her blabbering didn’t stop for a while, and I am really happy for that, this is the real shin hye, full of energy and cheerful,
“de shin hye ah, she seems good”
“oppa, can I meet her sometime ? I want to thank her for accepting your deal” should I meet up both of them ? I guess I can, it shouldn’t be much of a problem
“okay I will ask her then”
“kumao oppa” and later we conversed for a while before deciding to have our broken date tomorrow night.

kim so eun pov:
he hasn’t left from the front of our building for 20 minutes or so, maybe he was thinking something ? Like what? More conditions to put into our marriage contract, breaking my thoughts i picked up my phone without seeing the caller id and spoke
“hello”
“hello so eun ah”
“oh hyun joon oppa, how are you?” I asked after recognizing his voice
“I am fine so eun ah, I heard you gone on a date today?” he asked,
“how do you know oppa ?”
“uee said” uee said ? why ? Maybe she wanted to be the next in this marriage thing, she already likes hyun joon, oh let me tell you, hyun joon happened to fix one of uee’s favorite toy which dad made for her birthday from years ago, and she was crushing on him since then, why didn’t I crush on anyone till today?  And yes there is difference between both of us too, I am short with just average height, a nerd from the beginning and I wear glasses, who in this generation wear glasses, most people get surgeries done or wear lenses, but we can’t afford that. They are expensive. And on the other hand there was uee, tall, pretty with model like looks and confident and what more she is aspiring to be a model too, whereas I am a school teacher. And almost every year during valentines we get a refrigerator full of chocolates thanks to her. But the real answer is not that, I didn’t find the need to have a boyfriend or date yet, i always thought it is not my time yet. And it is proven once again that it is not my time yet.
