a week passed with nothing much to happen, woo bin and so eun did the usual and the day has arrived.
“jong suk ah, saengil chukha hamnida"  woo bin said as soon as jong suk lifted his call
“hyung thanks” jong suk said happy on receiving wishes from his hyung, though there was a little bitterness in their relationship since shin hye and woo bin started dating and he distanced himself from them, but both of them are really important for him.
“so where are you ? we can celebrate together” woo bin asked, he knew why exactly jong suk has distanced himself from them, though they met everytime for each of their birthday’s jong suk never stayed longer, he went early all the time, he thought he could call shin hye and other of their friends and organize a party for jong suk tonight.
“hyung, I am not in seoul ,  I came out for a contract” jong suk knew he lied, he didn’t mean that he never want to face them, just when he can finally get over the fact that they are together and when he himself has a girl, then he can face them without any awkwardness. And today with so eun he plans to take first step in that direction.
“oh, okay, we will meet again then” woo bin said feeling a little disappointed that jong suk has once again distanced himself from them and hung up the call.

the day at work was same for him, woo bin went to his music office and did some composing for ost of some drama he has to do. For so eun it was a normal day at school. After she finished with the school she went to a nearby mall, it was the day of jong suk’s birthday and as he invited her to a party, she can’t go empty handed, thinking to take a gift, she went to the men’s section.
“what are you looking for miss ?” a working lady came and asked so eun
“I am trying to find a gift for a friend” so eun said, she didn’t know anything about what gift she could give to him,  she never done that for anyone,
“for your boy friend miss ?” the lady asked, if it was the case then it would be easy to choose, knowing who it was for.
“no, just a friend”so eun said
“do you have any particular idea miss ?” the lady asked so eun, so eun shook her head since she has no idea. The lady thought for a minute and then spoke
“miss these hand gloves are very much popular these days, since it was already winter, they will be useful too” she said as she directed so eun towards a counter with a variety of gloves, after seeing so many gloves, one caught so eun’s eye, a hazel nut colored leather gloves
“I will take them” so eun said to the shop keeper,
“okay ma’am I will get them to the counter” the lady said and turned around and started walking in the direction of the counter.  So eun started to follow her but then her eyes fell on a glass counter with watches. Her memories went to the day in Hawaii when
“you even broke my one million watch” woo bin’s words when he played prank on so eun rang her mind and she smiled remembering his childishness.
“can you show me these watches ?” so eun called the shop lady back and asked her to show them to her.

after coming home so eun changed her dress into a simple jeans and a printed shirt and was trying to tie her hair into a bun when woo bin came in, seeing her dressing up he asked her
“going some where ?”
“yep to a party” she said
“like that ?” woo bin said looking at her from head to toe, and asked her again “you sure that is a party outfit ?”
“anything wrong with this ?” so eun asked
“oh come on kim so eun, you will be a party crasher if you go like that, change into something better” woo bin said to her, she needs to change into something pretty, this dress is cute but suitable for a morning outing rather than a night party
“like what ?” so eun asked, she really thought this outfit is good
“wait” woo bin said as he opened her closet and ran through all her dresses, thinking on what to pick for her, after a minute he took out a navy blue sequin cocktail dress and handing it to her he said
“I think this will be good, go and change” so eun took the dress from his hand and disappeared into the changing room while woo bin waited for her to come as he picked up a change of outfit for him too, if jong suk were there, he, jong suk and shin hye might have celebrated but since jong suk was out of seoul, he and shin hye thought to meet at her house for dinner. And when the door opened revealing so eun in her dress woo bin has only one word for it
“perfect” he said instantly
“thank you woo bin shhi” so eun said shyly receiving the compliment and woo bin returned her smile and asked
“I can drop you off in the way if you want” went to change his clothes, so eun tied her hair into a bun when her phone rang
“so eun ah, tell me where should I pick you up?” it was jong suk, as he promised to pick her up he called, so eun didn’t want to, she want him to pick up but he insisted,  and since woo bin also offered to drop her, she thought maybe she can go to the nearby bus stop with woo bin and ask jong suk to pick her up from there, since that way, even Mr & Mrs kim will not doubt going them separately. So eun asked jong suk to come to the nearby bus stop and hung up. After woo bin changed he came out to see so eun fully dressed. She matched them with beige heels and wore a hand accessory while he himself wore khaki pants with a white t-shirt and a blue blazed, they looked like a couple with matching outfits but neither of them thought like that. Mr& Mrs. kim were happy thinking they both are going out for dinner oblivious to what they two were doing exactly, since his car is damaged, he took the other car today.

woo bin dropped so eun at the bus stop and drove away to shin hye. Jong suk who was already waiting there saw so eun get down from a car and approach him, as she came near to him he asked her
“who was that ?”
“he is my husband”
“your fake husband ?” jong suk asked curious of why he decided to drop so eun to some party
“yep” so eun said
“you have a very rich husband then” jong suk commented as he saw that she came in a SUV, a pretty costly car
“I do” so eun said with a smile
“let’s go then” jong suk replied as he walked towards his car and opened door for her, so eun got in and closing the door, jong suk went to the other side and got in.
“you can leave your coat here” jong suk said to the so eun as they entered the previously returned cabin in a famous restaurant as he pointed towards the coat hanger, he took off his coat and hanged it there and so eun did the same too revealing her beautiful dress, she looked beautiful jong suk thought. He pulled a chair for her asking her to sit, she sat still wondering why isn’t any one else here, he said it was a party right ? waiting for him to take a seat so eun asked
“why isn’t anyone else here ?” she asked
“because I only invited you ” jong suk said
“but you said it was a party right ?”
“yes, we are going to party, me and you”
“but where are your other friends ?”so eun asked as she wondered thinking isn’t birthday a thing celebrated with all friends
“they are not available at the moment, so it is just us” jong suk said, feeling a little guilty that he rejected woo bin’s offer to celebrate together, but what is in front of his eyes pleased him the most now. So eun didn’t knew he has no other friends, she didn’t know what to say so she decided on changing the topic
“so where is the cake ?” she asked brightly
“here it comes” jong suk said as there was a knock on the door and a waiter walked in with a trolley with a cake in it and carefully placed that on the table, between the two people. Jong suk cut the cake and fed a piece to her so eun really wasn’t welcoming to the idea of someone feeding her, but it was his birthday and his other friends were not available, so she didn’t reject him. jong suk was on cloud nine, there was no bound to his happiness today, after that they both ordered some dinner  and had their food.
“jong suk oppa, here” so eun handed him the gift she got with her after they finished their dinner and waiting for desserts.
“you didn’t have to bring anything so eun ah, you coming is enough for me” jong suk said and he really meant what he said
“I cannot come empty handed jong suk oppa” so eun said to him politely as it was not manners, but calling him oppa, she has to get used to it yet
“thanks” jong suk said as he took the packet from her hand and opened, there were gloves, leather gloves, and he loved them.
“they are not very much expensive but I hope you like them” so eun said as she saw him staring inside the bag for a second, does he not like them ? she thought, he immediately took them out and put them on.
“I love them so eun ah” he said as he waved his hands with those gloves in front of her, she smiled at his reaction, childish just like woo bin she thought. Soon their desserts arrived and after they finished them they left the restaurant.  So eun asked jong suk to drop her at the same bus stop where he picked her up, it was her and woo bin’s deal, so that his parents won’t suspect them. She texted woo bin ahead after their dinner was finished and that she would be there in some time, woo bin replied with an okay since he already finished his dinner with shin hye and they both conversed for a while.

by the time so eun arrived at the bus stop, woo bin’s car was already waiting for her there.
“I will be going then jong suk oppa” so eun said to him, he was about to get down to open door for her but she stopped him
“it’s okay , I can open the door myself jong suk oppa”
“thanks for coming today so eun, I am very happy that you came” jong suk said to her with a big smile, so eun smiled back to him and got down the car
“good night” she said and closed the door and walked towards woo bin’s car. Jong suk smiled at her disappearing figure until she got into that car and then he drove away.

“so how was your party ?”woo bin asked her as he was driving
“it was good woo bin sshi, how Is shin hye ?” so eun asked him since he guessed that he would have gone to have dinner with her
“how do you know that I went to shin hye ?”woo bin asked a little wondered as he didn’t remember him telling her that
“I guessed”
“oh” he just said, the rest of the drive was silent, as they reached home, so eun went to change first and then woo bin. By the time he returned in night clothes, and went to his music room to finish his work. After a while he returned to sleep, so eun was already sleeping, he took his blanket and went towards his couch to sleep but there was a box in his couch. He opened to see what it was, it was a quartz watch with a simple but large dial and black strap body
