“Uee ah, wait” woo bin tried stopping her as they reached her house and she got down
“even you lied to me oppa” Uee said disappointed to woo bin and left his car and went into her house. It has been two days and so eun and woo bin has been calling her and sending her messages that they should meet up and talk, after a little thinking Uee decided she should listen to what they have to say because so eun will never do things without a proper cause, if her unni did something there might have been a lot of thought to that, and woo bin she grew close to him, if she has to say, Uee imagined a perfect married life for her sister and woo bin, she thought her sister is going to get a happy ending, she never thought her sister will be hiding such important information from her, she can’t understand why.
“Uee ah, it was me who suggested a fake marriage, not her” woo bin said to Uee as they met up in an old café with not much people
“well then explain me oppa”
“ what ?” woo bin asked a little taken aback seeing Uee that demanding, but Uee was determined to know if he really doesn’t like her sister so she asked
“explain why you are faking it oppa ? don’t you like my sister even a little bit ?”
“I like her” woo bin said, he grew positive feelings for so eun and she is a really good girl, but he has shin hye and , after pausing for a second he spoke “but not that way”
“I have been dating shin hye for a while now”
“what ?”
“unni, you knew it ?” and this is the first time Uee spoke to so eun after they arrived, so eun nodded to Uee feeling happy that Uee spoke to her finally,
“aish, why are you crazy ? why did you both marry in the first place then ?” Uee asked frustrated and confused
“because,” woo bin decided to tell the truth, because saving his father killed their father and that left a heavy burden on their family that they were the reason for so eun’s family to go into debts, but before he spoke out the next words, so eun said oblivious that woo bin knew the reason
“the same reason, omma and woo bin’s mother promised” so eun doesn’t want Uee to know that, that may only cause misunderstandings more and nothing else, plus since woo bin doesn’t know himself since she asked his father not to tell him, it’s better if the reason is not spilled out now, she can talk over to Uee about that later when everything got settled, may be, not now so eun told herself. But woo bin was a little shocked, why doesn’t so eun want to spill those reasons to her sister ? or is it because he was present here ? why doesn’t she want me to know that fact in the first place , she even asked my father not to tell me, why ?  her words only left woo bin with more questions.
“so you are going to marry shin hye after a year ?” Uee asked him as she heard them, woo bin nodded, that’s what he planned
“what about you unni ?”
“me ?”
“yes you, or are you planning to become a nun after a year ?” Uee mocked her sister sarcastically,
“no” because so eun doesn’t even know what she will do after the year ends
“good” Uee said and went into thought, it has already happened and she can’t change that they are already in a fake marriage, though she was angry she can only let it slide by not making a fuss about it and may be search some guy for her sister to date so that so eun can have a happy ending too. Taking a deep breath Uee spoke
“you did not try anything with my unni right oppa ?”
“what ?” woo bin and so eun asked her in shock, woo bin got what Uee was asking, if he kissed her or maybe they took their relationship to next level, he was slightly embarrassed and the picture of so eun kissing his cheek popped up in his head, he didn’t answer immediately and so eun remained silent in shock
“you both didn’t do anything wrong do you ?”
“no” woo bin answered her honestly
“no” so eun too replied immediately, so fast that made Uee a little suspicious on what is going on, there was a honest answer and a lie from two people, what did they do ? she need to ask her sister
“oppa” she called woo bin immediately making him look towards her
“I am going to kill you and join your anti-fan club and spit out all these if you do anything wrong or mis behave with my unni in the future, arasso ?” she warned him, two reasons, one since they both doesn’t have any romantic feelings towards one another and two her sister deserves a happy ending with someone who loves her for her not because of some contract. Woo bin nodded to Uee and Uee spoke again
“oppa, unni will come home later, I need to talk to her more” and as Uee asked woo bin left the place and drove back home while so eun was still shocked that Uee asked him to leave that directly. And as woo bin’s figure disappeared from their sight Uee asked so eun
“unni, tell me what happened ?”
“what happened ? so eun asked a little confused
“you lied to me earlier unni, something happened between you both right ?”
“what ? no, nothing happened” so eun said stammering thinking how Uee caught on
“I can read you well unni, now spill” so eun sighed in defeat, she can’t hide anymore
“okay, we kissed”
“that’s it ? I thought you both did” Uee stopped there and spoke again “you made me worried unni, it’s just a kiss”
“not just a kiss” so eun said to herself, that thing they did was nothing she can call as just, may be for others it isn’t a big thing but for her, it is something so big for so eun because she was not able to get that out of her even a few days have passed
“when ?” Uee asked wanting to know more and so eun’s thoughts drifted back to the night when she and woo bin moved into their new home

  lets play another game”
“like what ?” so eun asked
“20 questions ” woo bin stated with a smile
so eun remained silent, she knew the game she heard her classmates talking when she was still studying,
“okay then I will spin the bottle, whoever it points to, should start asking first okay ?”
“what if we don’t want to answer ??” so eun knew she doesn’t want to reveal something’s about her and her insecurities
“well. then” woo bin thought at that question and the only thing his eyes fell on were the soju bottles ahead of them
“then, you have to drink a bottle of soju” he knew he could have made that a glass of soju but he went overboard because of his curiosity to know answers and he himself want to give her all answers for the questions popped up onto him by so eun, because he thought it is high time they should lose their awkwardness, she already took a foot in their friendship when she gifted him a watch, why shouldn’t he be friendly with her ? why can’t they talk about their everyday life , and hang out together like friends do, though they have a time limit for their friendship, he wanted the remaining time they have to be best and less awkward rather than him leading his life and her leading hers, he thought may be supporting one another as friends in this time will make it good.
“a full bottle ?” so eun asked shocked
“what ? you can’t ?” he asked her and her expression remained still shocked and made him want to a little more so he added
“did you kill someone and hid their body ?” and listening that her eyes grew even big making him wonder if they will pop out any second and woo bin burst out laughing at her expression, so eun didn’t like him laughing at her but she still didn’t understand what humor he found then, so staying composed she asked
“why are you laughing woo bin sshi ?” trying to control his laughter he answered
“you are easy to bully you know”
“and you are too childish if you know”
“oh come on kim so eun, you don’t even have fun anytime”
“who says that I don’t have fun at all ?” so eun asked him
“you  do ?” woo bin asked hearing her reply to which so eun nodded .
“then this is your first question, when is the last time you had fun ?”
“the dinner with se ra in Hawaii ” she paused because she knew the next words will irritate him lightly but she still continued “when I trolled you into telling a love story and your expression was memorable” so eun laughed as she remembered his expression from that day. Woo bin pouted in anger at her reply.
“my question now”so eun said as she laughed a little and thought of the question she needed to ask
“what is a memorable thing that you heard recently ?” a typical teacher question but at the moment she cannot think of anything better
“does your fortune cookie things count ?” woo bin asked, so eun nodded since most of the times they were good sayings or true words
“a short stranger will soon enter my life it said” woo bin said as he saw the short stranger ahead of him and laughed,
“my turn, why do you eat those cookies ? because hyun joon gives you ?”woo bin asked. He already thinks that hyun joon has a liking for so eun but what so eun feels for hyun joon , he want to know
“no oppa gives them because I like them”
“who is that short stranger ?” so eun asked immediately since she was curious on when he ate her cookies and what does he mean by that quote
“it’s you shortie so eun” woo bin said pulling his tongue out and this time it is so eun’s turn to pout
“so who is your favorite star ?”
“no one to be precise”
“who is yours ?”
“I am my favorite star” woo bin said proudly which made so eun scoff her hand and she commented “you are so full of yourselves”
“yah, you can’t talk when it’s not your turn to ask the question”  woo bin said with an evil grin because he thought it is time they actually have some soju and this idea didn’t appeal so much to so eun,
“what do you mean now woo bin sshi ?” so eun
“there you go talked second time, have your first bottle of soju” woo bin said
“you didn’t ask me a question that I didn’t answer woo bin sshi, so no to a bottle of soju” so eun said strict by  her rules
“we need to drink some soju atleast, what are we going to do with all the bottles of soju we have here ?”
“drink them”
 “what ?”
“you asked a question twice, so go and have a bottle yourselves woo bin sshi”
“when did I ask two questions ?” woo bin asked her as he didn’t realize he asked her
“one ‘what are we going to do with all the bottles of soju we have here ?’ and two ‘what’” so eun said proudly since she made him fall in the trap himself, while he thought of making her drink a complete bottle an instant, she is now making him do that himself.
“yah, you are now using my plan against myself” woo bin said with a pout as he drank a complete bottle.  Kim so eun is different,  give her a chance and she is always surprising him, woo bin never thought that she can be like this, first when he met she was just a calm girl, now she seemed to have so much just than being calm.
“my question now woo bin sshi” so eun said as he placed his bottle down and asked
“what is the most important thing to you ? ”
“thing ? then I can say that my music” woo bin replied, because music is something of so much importance to him, he decided to ask her the same question so asked
“what is most important to you ?”
“my books” answering, so eun immediately took her turn to ask and asked him
“who do you like more ? you mother or your father ?”
“of course my mother, my father can be very strict at times and a little grumpy too”
“no, aboenim isn’t grumpy” so eun said though she thought he can be sudden and spontaneous, grumpy may not be the word
“broke the rule, have a bottle”
“aish” so eun hissed thinking that she should have controlled her urge to defend and opened up a bottle and started drinking
“my question, who is your crush ?” woo bin asked, he has two persons in his mind for so eun, her answer might be hyun joon or that Hawaii guy who invited her for his party. So eun looked a little shocked at that question, crush ? she doesn’t think she has any one at this moment, or rather for a while she didn’t like anyone, but does she now ? she doesn’t know now so she decided to drink another can while she said
“I am drinking another can”
‘you did not answer me kim so eun’ woo bin thought as he waited for her to finish while he ate some food
“my question” so eun said as she placed the empty can down, she started to have a little head ache from all the drink, she thought for a second and asked
“who is your first crush ??”
“my fifth grade teacher”
“you crushed on a teacher, how can you crush on a teacher ?” so eun commented forgetting that she shouldn’t talk in between
“why can’t I have crush. Now drink a beer”
“why ?” she asked
“because you disturbed the game”
“I did ?” so eun asked and then realized what she did and said “even you have another can woo bin sshi, you disturbed the question I have to ask now” she said, if what she did was disturbing, what he did was the same too she thought, both of them drank another bottle and started asking one another a few more silly questions, so eun finished 4 and woo bin 6 bottles of soju but now they went into answering directly most of the questions involved their childhood, likes or dislikes, the floor around them were full of empty siju bottles lying here and there, it was now woo bin’s turn to ask and he popped his question
“you had your first kiss ?”
“no” she was tipsy earlier but she got a jolt as he asked her that question but she replied him and asked back the same
“what about you woo bin sshi?”
“is that even a question to ask when I have a girlfriend ? ofcourse I kissed, and I’m 27 a perfect age to kiss any number of times I wish” woo bin said scoffing off, and so eun felt a little disappointment as she imagined him and shin hye kissing,
‘looks like I am the only person who didn’t kiss or get kissed’ so eun said to herself , sad and unsure of her own feelings, why was she disappointed to imagine them kissing, she decided to let go of the game and sleep, and as she got up and spoke
“let’s stop now woo bin sshi”
“why ?” woo bin asked sipping his drink, so eun didn’t want to reply, she took a step ahead put her foot onto one of the soju bottle lying on the floor and made her fall front, and she was on top of woo bin now
“let go”
“ani tell, why are you upset” these questions are making her sober up, the soju effect has been fading away from her and she surely didn’t want to answer him why,
“leave me” she said as she struggled to let go of his grip from her wrist, and that is when woo bin let her wrist and caught her by her waist and pulled her even closer
“not until you tell me so eun ah” he said with care that can be seen in his eyes, so eun wants to get lost in them but she knew she has no right to, that place in his arms, doesn’t belong to her but a part of her wants to be selfish and stay like this for some more time, deciding that she was wrong, so eun struggled in his arms asking him to let go but woo bin only shook his head, after a few minutes so eun gave in and said
“fine, I didn’t have my first kiss”
“that’s it ? then I will take away your sadness” woo bin said as he tucked the hair falling over her face back to her ear, so eun gasped in shock, what does he mean by those words, she doesn’t even had time to think more when woo bin pulled her in for a kiss though she was a little shocked at first so eun went in too ‘you are not supposed to do this, he is drunk you are not’ a voice in her head said making so eun open her eyes and she pushed her face away from him. he didn’t let go of his grip on her waist yet though, they both stared at one another lying like that until woo bin fell asleep first, so eun released herself from his grip slowly and ran into her room.
