“unni, you both knew each other already ?” Uee asked as she got confused on how they said one another names
“yes Uee ah, we met in hawaii”
“oh” Uee said as she nodded, understanding her sisters words, as jong suk’s touch up has been finished, it is now Uee’s turn to get her done, she excused herself to the seat which jong suk left a while ago, while the elder kim and jong suk had to distance themselves from the place they were standing since it got crowded there.
“so did you get back to your hotel safely that night ?” that was the first thing jong suk thought as he saw her and remembered their conversation that night
“yes, I went back safely.”  ‘and suffered a little embarrassment too’ so eun thought but didn’t utter the last sentence since she didn’t want to embarrass herself again, hearing that jong suk smiled and said
“good, I wondered if you might have reached or not. By the way,I didn’t expect that Uee could be your sister” jong suk commented
“ I  am, so you are a model for how long ?”
“for three years”
“oh” so eun just said that, she was actually at loss of words, she didn’t have much to speak, she was always a calm girl, but since he helped her and her sister, she thought it would be impolite if she stayed calm so she asked him that question about modeling.
“so what are you doing ?” jong suk asked curious
“I am a teacher here”
“you are a teacher ?” jong suk asked bewildered
“why ?” so eun asked thinking what is with his expression
“well, it suits you I guess” jong suk said taking a look at her attire, she indeed looked like a teacher, dressed in a A-line knee length skirt, a shirt and carrying few books in her arm while a bag slung on her shoulder.
“you look good in this attire” he commented lastly before she could speak,
“thanks” so eun said not understanding why he still said so. Uee got her touch up finished, and the crew also arranged the set as the wanted, soon the photo shoot started, Uee and jong suk posing in different ways to the camera. So eun watched from the sidelines as she admired their work and modeling better than before after taking in what effort goes through to click that one worthy picture that will be published. After the shoot was finished, Uee and jong suk changed back into their casual outfits and approached so eun, when Uee got a text
hyun joon : I am waiting outside so eun’s school Uee ah, is your shoot over ?
Uee : yes oppa, I will be coming out in few minutes
Uee replied hyun joon with a smile pasted on her face making so eun wonder on what is it
“who is it Uee ah?” so eun asked Uee
“unni, it is hyun joon oppa, he came to pick me up, can I go ahead unni ?” Uee said as she asked if she could go ahead, knowing what it means for a drive with him, so eun smiled, may be her sister can spend some time
“okay then Uee ah, go ahead”
“thank you unni. I will call you” Uee said happily to so eun who smiled in response and then uee turned towards jong suk as she said politely
“oppa, it was great working with you and thank you for all your guidance, I hope I can work with you again” and she bowed down to him
“it was pleasure working with you too kim Uee” he said as he smiled. Taking leave from both of them Uee went ahead to thank all the other staff before she left.
“I should get going too” so eun said as she decided on leaving. Woo bin’s family offered to pick up and drop so eun too as they come for sang woo but so eun politely declined their offer since she wanted to not change at least some things in her life style. Tonight her in-laws said they wanted to talk to her and woo bin about something serious, they didn’t start the conversation as soon as the newlyweds came back from their trip thinking of giving them some time and also to get to know so eun as a family. As far as so eun could say, things were okay, she and woo bin had dinner every night with elder pair and they asked her a few questions about herself and said some about themselves, she and woo bin would return back to his room and he would take the couch which was big enough for one person to sleep comfortably and she takes the bed, he insisted that or rather forced her to take the bed and she couldn’t do anything about that other than accepting his stubbornness. There was still a lot of time and maybe she could have some coffee and then walk home, her new home which is woo bin’s home was not very far from her school like her own home was.
“do you have any plans ?” jong suk asked, the more he see her the more he wanted to know her better, maybe she could fill that place in my heart he thought. So eun was a little shocked by his question but replied
“I am going to a nearby coffee shop, why did you ask ?”
“oh, can I join ?” the reply from jong suk was almost immediate, so eun didn’t expect that but she didn’t mind him joining so she accepted. They both exited the room and as they approached the school gate jong suk pulled up his hooded jacket covering his head and wore sunglasses, it is evening now, why is he wearing sunglasses now, wondering so eun asked him
“what are you doing ?” implying his actions
“oh, if people recognize me I will be in trouble”
“what kind of trouble ?” so eun asked curiously
“well, some might want to have autographs and some pics clicked but some will be dangerous and stalk everything celebrities do, and it will be burden on my own personal space” jong suk explained, so eun knew this feeling, when her marriage was declared a month ago, it was like that for her too, she didn’t like the attraction and she also knew they were interested in her because of woo bin, as he thoughts drifted while walking her eyes fell on a advertisement board with woo bin and some other girl in it,
“will it be difficult for him too ?” so eun asked as she pointed her finger to that board, she was curious since he only met shin hye when no one else was there and in Hawaii, it might be difficult for him too
“him ?” jong suk asked a little shocked, why is she asking him about hyung ? maybe she is also one of hyung’s fan thinking that jong suk answered
“yep, since he is a singer and way more popular than me, it will be difficult and media will always be behind back of such stars”
“oh” so eun said as she understood the reason now, soon both of them reached the coffee shop and approached the counter
“what do you want to order sir? And miss ?” the lady in the counter asked them
“caffee latte”
“Americano” both of them ordered their drinks and then headed to a table on the corner of the room as jong suk suggested as he need not worry about people since he will not be seen in that place. As they went there he removed his shades and pulled off the hood from his head now.
“so how is your fake marriage going ?” jong suk asked curiously
“oh, fine I guess” so eun said, she was a little unsure why did he ask her that but she knew that he is someone that can be trusted since he kept her secret well since if that news got leaked it would have been a rucks by now and jong suk replied by a simple
“oh”
“so what about you ? how have you been ?” so eun asked him casually
“yep I am great you see, I even have another contract by end of this month, so I am free for a few days” he said, so eun was about to reply but she was cut off by someone saying
“your order is here” one of the waitress came and place their order
“thank you” so eun replied and turned away but the waitress interrupted them again as she asked
“sir, are  you lee jong suk who modeled for elle magazine’s last month issue ?” curiousity took over her as she thought she saw him somewhere and finally remembered where
“yes it is me”
“oh I am glad to meet you sir, I am song ji mi and sir I must say, you are very handsome in real than in the magazine sir” she said, being a high school girl, she works part time in this café to earn for her expenses, normally she wouldn’t have had seen him in regards to her financial status but from since she started working in this coffee shop, she found some magazines that their owner bring in every month for the customers and when there weren’t many customers she reads them.
“thank you ji mi ah” jong suk said with a smile thinking she was polite for her age, some high school girls would be crazy that they start squealing but she wasn’t like that.
“oh miss, nice to meet you too, I hope you are his chingu” ji mi turned towards so eun and greeted her, so eun returned her bow with a head nod and smiled as she remembered how she used to be in her school days
“ji mi ah, don’t tell anyone you saw me here okay ?” jong suk asked immediately since being seen with a girl might cause scandals and it would be unnecessary  trouble
“sure sir I won’t, I hope you come here more. I will be leaving sir” ji mi said politely and then left happily since she met him. Seeing so eun lost in thought jong suk asked
“what are you thinking so eun ah?” well that friendly call shocked so eun a little and seeing her expression he immediately spoke “well, I thought we are friends already, since I am protecting your little secret that you told in hawaii, you should be my friend at least isn’t it?” jong suk added that intentionally as asking her to be friends might seen desperate. He has a point, and he is a good person too so she accepted as she said
“yeah sure we could be friends.” She smiled and then continued “have you met that person that day?” as she remembered he was waiting for some noona to meet before she left
“oh yeah I met her” jong suk said as he remembered the bitterness in thoughts he had for shin hye, oblivious to what that reason might be and thinking she may have offended him by asking something inappropriate so eun asked him
“did I ask anything wrong ? I am sorry if I did” seeing her apologetic face jong suk smiled and thought of sharing his story in brief with her
“well to say the truth, I was kind of rejected by that noona, she was my first love but she already had a boyfriend, so I stayed away but heard that he got married, hope rose and I called her only to know the truth that she was still together with him despite of his marriage. That’s it. Here I am now.” Jong suk said, it was sad since it was his first love, but then he decided to let that go, as he saw hope in the form of the lady sitting in front of him, he knew that things weren’t the same with him from the day he met, that day when shin hye told him things he should be normally sad but this girl didn’t make him feel like that, that innocence attracted him, he wondered if he could ever meet her again but fate had showed him his way and he was now sitting with her drinking coffee, this is a new start for me he thought and smiled at that thought.
“oh” sorry, so eun was about to add that word too but he smiled, so she dropped that word wondering why, she didn’t knew if she could ask further but she decided to drop that topic thinking that having a sad first love might be difficult, but she didn’t knew that he was thinking opposite. Both of them drank their coffee in silence. He then asked her a few questions about her work which so eun answered and then so eun asked some thinking having knowledge about modeling might help Uee in some way. As they finished, they both parted their ways before jong suk asked for her mobile number. So eun walked down the street while jong suk back to the school for his car.
“yah, where did you go ?” one of the shoot managers asked jong suk as he came back
“just for a coffee” jong suk said as he wondered why was he still there in the school. His reply made the manager a little mad on how he forgot and left as she whined to jong suk
“and it took you an hour to have coffee ? if so then you could have taken your belongings and said a good bye” hearing him jong suk remembered that he forgot to greet them and leave and also  he left his car keys earlier in the urge to leave with so eun, he smiled at the thought of her
“sorry hyung, I forgot” jong suk said trying to act cute asking for forgiveness

“we want you two to move out of this house ” elder kim said in a serious tone which made the younger couple react in shock
“what ?”they both asked at the same time but the elder kim was silent, tension building up in atmosphere, and his father still not speaking, woo bin asked again
“aboeji, what are you saying ?” he and so eun were waiting for an answer as she wondered to herself ‘is this the important thing they want to talk about’. Seeing both the kids worried expression the elder kims were not concerned but rather started laughing which made the younger ones more confused as their laughter faded away they spoke.
“don’t worry, we just meant that we took a new house for you both so that you can move in there”
“but why aboeji ?” once again so eun and woo bin’s voices echoed as they both weren’t welcoming that idea well. The elder kim couple were quite confused at their reaction, aren’t newlyweds should be excited about making a home together ? furnish it themselves and select the colors themselves, not able to put up with the confusion, mrs. Kim asked
“why are you so against that idea ?” hearing her they both realized that the spoke forgetting the fact that they had to act a couple before them
“oh, it’s not like that aboeji, what I meant is” she thought a second for a logical reason and said “this is already a big house so why a new house”
“yeah, we are fine here aboeji” woo bin added to support so eun’s words, he didn’t even like the idea of a new house, he didn’t had any particular reason for that but still he wasn’t in favor also. Seeing them both supporting one another to not move in to a new house, woo bin’s father got a little angry and frustrated over his son’s behavior, and also a little skeptical as he was going well with so eun when he was married against his will since he heard woo bin and his elder son talking and knew that woo bin and shin hye were dating, but his son’s behavior towards so eun well it’s not like he didn’t want it, if woo bin and so eun fall in love like he wished and woo bin already liked so eun then he wouldn’t have to worry about but what is wrong in being a little cautious ? he just wanted them to have happy life together, but this particular reply from woo bin made him worry again, angry on his reply, mr. kim said ordered both of them in a serious tone
“yah you both, it is not a request but an order, you both are going to go tomorrow to your new house at 4pm sharp, there will be an interioir designer waiting for you there and go and tell her how you want to model that house, arasso ?” unable to go against his words, both so eun and woo bin remained silent as they accepted that house. After dinner both of them came back into woo bin’s room.

“what did you do today after school?” woo bin asked her as she took the bed, today he saw her walking on the street with someone, some guy who hid his face with hodded jacket and glasses,
“why do you ask ?” so eun asked him
“is he hyun joon ?”
“he? Who ?” so eun asked him as she wondered what he was talking about, she didn’t even meet hyun joon today, Uee left early with him. Curiosity. Woo bin named the reason he badly wanted to ask her, it’s just curiosity, so he said
“the one you walked with” did he see me ? Even so why did he bother asking me that wondering so eun answered him
“he is not hyun joon oppa, oppa went with Uee, why did you ask”
“I was just curious”
“about what ?”
“who was that guy ?”
“he is someone I met in Hawaii, we just happened to bump into each other today and went for a coffee” so eun said, but woo bin’s ears caught only one part of her words
“you met someone in Hawaii?” he immediately questioned her, so eun didn’t understand why was he getting curious over that
“yes we met in Hawaii, why do you ask woo bin sshi?”
“just like that, so when did you meet him?” he asked her one more question
“well, on the day I got drunk” so eun was a little embarrassed accepting that as that was not one of her proudest moments but then she added “if it weren’t for him I may not even reach the hotel that day” she said as she remembered if he hadn’t warned her about the drink that day she wouldn’t have even known and anything could have happened.
“oh, looks like he is a good guy” woo bin said as he felt thankful for that person as he helped her, she came in unconscious that day which made him a little worried, so if someone helped her he will be thankful for them
“yes he is a good guy woo bin sshi. So how was your day ?” so eun asked him in return for his concern
“it’s fine, I spent most of my time in the composing room today”
“oh” she just nodded for his reply, but then a second later her eyes fell on the box on the table, the fortune cookies box which hyun joon has given her earlier, excited to eat them and read the inner message, so eun got down from the bed quickly and taking the box back with her she hopped on the bed again. Her quick moments made woo bin curious as he asked
“what is it ?”
“fortune cookies woo bin shhi” so eun said to him happily as she opened the pack and took one cookie out, eating half of it, she cracked the cookie shell and a paper slip was hanging from the remaining half,  stopping there, she took the slip out of that and read
Your life will be filled with magical moments.
she smiled at that message, she always believed the messages, though they may not be regarding big things, these messages have always been correct for her in small things
“magical ? I wonder what will happen” she wondered out loud as she thought
“what magical?” woo bin asked her thinking what is she talking about
“the message from the cookie woo bin sshi, will you try one ?” so eun asked as she offered the box towards him suggesting him to try and pick one
“it’s okay I don’t want to” he declined her offer as he never tried such things, he didn't even knew that cookies with messages exit
“as you wish” so eun said as she stared at the paper having thoughts on what might it mean to her, after a while both of them fell asleep, he in his couch and she on the bed.

“I will pick you up from school today so that we can go the house aboeji has told us to” woo bin said as he wore his jacket on to so eun who was picking her clothes so that she could go to school.
“okay woo bin sshi” so eun said and taking her clothes with her she went in for her bath. He adjusted the jacket and put on his watch and smiled at his look proud at his good facial features that is when his  eyes fell on the box, the cookie box, his legs took steps towards box on the table beside the bed and his hands took their way into picking up one, he ate half of it and pulled out the paper to read the message
A short stranger will soon enter your life with blessings to share.
“how can they know that you are short kim so eun” he laughed a little at that message and placing that message into one of his pockets woo bin left the room.
