“so eun ah, so eun ah” my mom came shouting into the room as I was preparing notes for my class today,
“what is it omma ?”I asked her, she seems super excited and this is somewhat freaking me out
“you got a marriage proposal so eun ah” and that’s is my world came down crashing,
“omma no, not yet” yes, there is still time, it was a lie , but I had my reasons, my father has passed away when I am in my first year of university and my sister was still in 9^th grade then, life has become difficult for us after that, and as I did graduate we were left in debts later I got a job  in a school and was able to make it okay for us, and we are paying debts in installments,  now after  5 years, my sister has graduated from university and we still have a pile of debts to clear, I can’t marry yet,
“why ?? why not so eun ah ??” I don’t think I could have answered this easily, but as there was no reply from me, her face fell,
“omma, please understand”
“when will you marry then so eun ah ? You are 26 this year and not once in 10 years I saw you go out on a date at least, who will take care of you when I pass away? Your sister will find someone and leave, what about you so eun ah?” saying that she burst out crying, I made her sit on my bed and spoke slowly
“omma, we still have debts to pay and uee has to get a path for her too” hoping that she will understand, but reply was given by someone completely different.
“So if we pay off your debts and show your sister some path will you be able to marry so eun sshi ?” I turned around to see who it was, a lady around my mother’s age was standing at my door way, the only difference I see between my mom and her is that her clothes looked expensive.
“No, I mean I couldn’t accept anything like that” how the hell can I accept that?? It was money and I am accepting that means selling my self esteem, but why does she want to pay our debts?
“If you don’t mind may I ask, why do you want me?”
“so eun sshi, I know you before you know me, and I find that you will be a perfect partner for my son, and the money issue is nothing for us”
“what?” she smiled to my question and answered
“we are rich so eun sshi, and I am not saying that to show the financial difference between us, I just want to assure you that you need not worry” and before I could reply, she spoke again
“can you excuse us for a while so eun sshi ? ” I nodded and left the room, somehow I feel like I got kicked out in a polite way, and what is all this about? I didn’t even accept anything, why is she saying that to me? I waited for around half an hour and then they both emerged out of my room into the living room,
“see you again then so eun ah” she said smiling to be before she left, I bowed to her
“omma what happened?” I asked
“so eun ah, you will listen to me right?”
“Have I not ever?”
“Please accept to this marriage then, I already promised her that I will convince you”
“omma?” I whined, what happened in a day that she wanted me to marry off this suddenly, “she is an old friend of mine so eun ah, and you happen to be teacher of her grandson, so she knew you” grandson? Who is it in my class? “And she finds you so adorable, and we happened to bump into each other after years yesterday, and we both decided that it is best to marry both you and her son”
“so ?” I asked her, I mean I love my mom, but this sudden marriage thing is disturbing me,
“so please go to this dinner date after school, it will be your first meeting, hotel golden world at 6 pm, I know you are an obedient daughter, and you love me so much” I nodded helplessly, she knows I can’t go against her, and she used that card on me.

unni listen to woo bin oppa songs while you wait you go in the bus, you may feel relaxed uee texted me, what’s with woo bin’s songs, I don’t know, but she is a diehard fan of him and always pesters me to listen to his songs, and even filled my playlist with his songs too, but since there was nothing more to do too, I wasn’t quiet able to concentrate on class today too, and there is since that place is an hour long away, I followed her suggestion there. As I reached the restaurant, the receptionist led me to a table as I said her name, after a while of waiting someone called me from my behind
“are you kim so eun sshi?” turning around I see kim woo bin, the kim woo bin, who my sister fan girls like crazy, but how does he know me ?

“Go inside so eun sshi, and thanks for accepting the deal, have a good night’s sleep”
His words kept ringing in my ears but what he doesn’t know that sleep is what that is the most difficult thing I could achieve now, or even think of, a lot has happened and today has been a long day, I am going to be married with him soon, i am marrying the kim woo bin, but all he want is marriage on paper? And he already has a girlfriend? What a maze I am stuck in, omma wants me to marry him, but he isn’t even single. And why did I accept it? I don’t know that too, may be I know, omma, she was so much into him already and she promised that ajumma earlier, I can’t break my mother’s promise. And according to his condition, I put up one of my own that I will not accept them paying my debts and I will continue working for which he accepted. I rolled on my bed and tried closing my eyes again, but the picture of all day long has started playing in my eyes.
