They arrived 15 minutes early, Mino looked around and saw how normal the day was, he saw familiar faces, chattering away, girls giggling and whispering things when he pass by them.

“Heard you’re single now?” a girl told him which caused the other girls giggle. He just passed by, head down due to embarrassment, he was not used to this anymore, ever since he had a girlfriend he did not receive any letters nor love calls anymore, but now that rumors of Seulgi and him breaking up spread like a wildfire he got teased like this, again. “Let’s have lunch sometime!” The girl said with a loud voice and giggled after.

Some boys are talking very loudly, and some, the ert ones, just kept on looking at the legs of the girls passing by. “Spring uniform is the best” the rascals all agreed, which made Mino shake his head.

“Excuse me?”

“Huh?”

“Are you following us?”

“Uhh what?” he looked down to see the owner of the voice.

“Are you deaf?” she squinted her eyes to see his nameplate “Song Minho-ssi?”

“No” he also looked at her nameplate “and no I am not following you Bae Joohyun-ssi and…”

“Park Sooyoung!!” The taller exclaimed, she was a lot cheerful than the little one, Mino took note of that. “You are handsome”

“Joy please..” Irene rolled her eyes. Mino blushed for her straightforwardness

“Uhh thanks? You’re pretty?”

“Hahaha thank you!” Sooyoung bowed like a princess.

“Let’s go!” Irene pulled her and they started walking again. Then three boys stopped in front of them. “What is it now?”

“Hi I’m Song Yunhyeong, this is Kim Donghyuk, and that is Goo Junhoe”

“So?”

“You girls are new.” The one who looks handsome with full lips, wavered a little with Irene’s attitude. “We can show you around”

“No thanks”

“How about lunch?”

“No.”

“Umm can we just get your na..”

“You know what I don’t fu…”

“Joohyun-ah?” A tiny voice rang even before Mino shooed the boys away, and it terrified him. It was Seulgi’s. “BAE JOOHYUN!” She hugged the pink-haired girl

“Seulgi!!” And the three boys are forgotten, Mino went their way and told them to go away.

“Sorry man, she got one attitudinal problem” he apologized for her sake

“You know her?”

“Only her name though”

“Ahhh I see.” The tallest said nonchalantly

“See you in class, loverboy” Yunhyeong and the gang laughed and bid their farewells. He looked at the two girls hugging each other tightly.

“Why are you back?” Seulgi said while her voice is muffled by Irene’s shoulder

“You don’t want?” The pink-haired said feigning hurt

Joy and Mino stood beside awkwardly at the sudden reunion scene happening right before their eyes. “Hey, do you know Wendy?” Joy whispered to Mino who is zoning out at the moment.

“Who?”

“Wendy!”

“Wendy Son?”

“Yup!”

“She’s the student council vice president. Brilliant student, very smart and very busy. She’s probably arranging our opening ceremony.”
