It was a beautiful morning, it was snowing peacefully and the cable cars are climbing up and down the hill for the skiers and snowboarders. Everything was a normal Christmas Eve morning. Except for Seulgi, she has her hand over her forehead while she stared at the ceiling, chaos running inside of her head. She repeated over and over the conversation between her and Mino.

‘We’re over it’

Does he mean that he’s over us too, and he likes Irene? Seulgi thought along those lines. ‘I should be glad, right?’ For Seulgi it has been dragged far too long, and they should’ve moved on long time ago. She shouldn’t be the one contemplating about this, she’s the one who kept on pushing Mino away isn’t it? But why Irene? Why her? She sighed and got up.

“Wow, it’s snowing.” She said soullessly as she looked the window and see snowflakes falling from the sky. She got out from the room and saw Irene dressed like a professional snowboarder and Mino was teasing her.

“You look like a snowman” Mino pointed out.

“Shut up, abominable snowman.” She flipped him off and saw Seulgi looking at them blankly. “Seulgi!!” she greeted.

Seulgi just chuckled and hugged Irene, which confused both the hugged and Mino.

“Huh? Are you okay, Seul?” Irene held her by her shoulders and looked at her eyes.

“Yes, just cold.” She smiled.

“Okay! Now dress up like me, and we’ll board!!”

“Please don’t” Mino said and the two ladies looked at him one with anger and one with curiosity.

“Her fashion is a disaster”

They all laughed as Irene explained that she was all padded so she won’t get bruised and threw a tantrum when the two just won’t stop laughing. After minutes everyone was geared up to either ski or snowboard. They all went out the cabin to go to the cable car so that they can go faster down the hill, since Seungyoon’s cabin was on top of the hill.

“Seunghwan, let’s talk.” Wendy was startled because Seungyoon’s tone was very serious.

“Why?”

“Nothing, I guess I just can’t ride those things not you being by my side.”

Wendy wanted to blush with that cheesy comment but managed to hide in her scarf.

They boarded quietly and finally Seungyoon talked.

“I’m sorry about everything, for being an and for being the worst boyfriend of the century.”

Wendy just stayed silent throughout their ride and didn’t respond to this statement. She just hopped off the car silently once they hit the ground. Finally, when everyone was down the hill they decided to just go in the beginner’s slope, since except for Seungyoon, Mino, Seulgi and Yeri, no one else knows how to ski nor snowboard really well.

“Joy!” Yeri called out and she just looked at her with dead eyes.

“I’ll teach you how to ski.” Joy doesn’t have the energy to argue, she just complied.

Hours passed and Joy collapsed on the white sheet of snow and panted heavily. Yeri skidded her skis beside her and removed it from her boots and laid down beside her.

“Tiring isn’t it?” Yeri said casually

Joy sat up and removed her skis as well. “Yes tiring, just like our situation.” She said flatly.

“Are we going to start again?”

“Am I really that hard to fight for?” Joy asked. “Don’t you like me enough to proudly say that you’re gay and in love with me?”

Yeri stared at the sky, snowflakes little by little blocks her view through her goggles.

“Again, no answer.” Joy laid down again and held Yeri’s hand. “I’m tired fighting, I’m tired with our group of friends’ drama. I guess I’ll go to LA, it’s going to be healthier for me.”

Yeri looked at Joy and the latter has her eyes closed and has smile planted on her face.

“I love you Joy, don’t go.”

“Then at least prove it, don’t just tell me, show me. I’m not talking about us kissing each other or making out on the corridors, but make me at least feel that you want me to stay.”

Yeri just heaved a sigh and stood up supporting Joy in the process.
