Mino yawned as he stood in the bus stop, cursing himself because he forgot his earphones. Now he can hear two old women bragging each of their households to each other. Thankfully the bus arrives and he boarded, since it was a Monday and it’s the time where people go to school or work, he was obliged to stand up, it was fine for him. The bus was already moving when it suddenly stopped, which made Mino annoyed more than he actually is.

“Wait!” A girl gasped. “Wow, yeah I actually made it.” She laughed while huffing.

“Just hurry up and get in miss, not everyone has the time to waste.”

“Oh yea, sorry” she scratched her head and almost fell when the bus zoomed forward luckily Mino caught her

“Hey, Irene” he said with a surprised tone and a chuckle

“Oh. Hi, yeah thanks.” She fixed her disarrayed hair and uniform before Mino grabbed her wrist and placed it on the metal bar in front of them.

“Buses are really fast during this hour, so uhh hold tight”

“Oh okay” although she liked Mino, the sensation of his touch no longer flusters her, it excites her, of course, and she likes it more than anything, but since she knows that it’s just his normal gesture she became used to it, and decided on not giving meaning into it.

Mino in the other hand is acting embarrassed because of the conversation the boys had the other night, which everyone including Kang Seungyoon, is saying that Irene indeed likes her.

“She does you stupid idiot, it’s obvious, even well, Wendy, when we were still together, tells me about it.” Kang Seungyoon told him with a hit in the head.

He tries to shake off those thoughts and start a conversation with her.

“Wow this is a first.”

“Huh?” Irene looked at him, with confused eyes.

“Well, I mean second time. I never really had the chance to ride the bus with you ever since the first day”

“Ahh that..” she smiled softly. “Well, Joy’s mom and dad fired our driver and unfortunately they went on a business trip so yeah. I don’t really know how to drive, neither does Joy so yeah.”

“Oh, where is Joy?”

“She’s sick so she’s sleeping in.”

“Really? Is she okay?”

“Oh yeah, in my opinion she’s just lazy” she chuckled. “Yeri will definitely miss her..” she trailed off

“What?”

“Uhhh nothing.” She laughed nervously when she remembered that that was supposed to be a secret between them girls

In another bus stop people continuously poured in the bus, squeezing Irene and Mino.

“This is kinda awkward” Mino laughed “Face me.”

“Ne?”

“I mean face my way”

“Alright” She turned around and faced him; since he was tall her face was pressed in his chest. She never got this close to Song Mino. His chest muscles were firm and he smelled like vanilla and musk. The scent can describe him, he looks tough and charismatic but actually soft and caring towards others, musk and vanilla. Mino caught the smell of Irene’s hair, ‘strawberry? Cotton candy? It’s so sweet’ it almost hypnotized him until a student from the same school pressed the button to signal them to go down. Almost half of the bus, including Mino and Irene went down the bus.

Irene sighed as Mino fixed her hair.

“Thanks.” She sighed once again “One week like that I guess.” She rolled her eyes.

“Well we can always go to school together, so that you won’t be squished you little thing.” Mino smiled sweetly

“Yeah, good idea” ‘what, ugh’ Irene slapped herself mentally for saying that.

They walked together in the locker area where their friends at

“Oooooh, what’s up with the two of you?” Taehyun teased which Mino responded by a flick in his forehead

“Stop”

Irene was confused by the joke and that the others were actually laughing except for Wendy and Seulgi.

“I just found this lost kitty in the bus.”

“Bus?” Wendy gasped, everyone except for Mino has their own private cars that drops them off in school.

“Hey, what’s so bad about the bus.” Mino sounded offended

“Well, it’s hard and exhausting. And Wends it’s a long story.” Irene said acting hurt while she enters the code for her locker. “Aishhh” the door of her locker is stuck and no matter how much she pulled it, it won’t budge.

“Here” Mino hit it hard with his fist and the locker opened
