Burned-

Jongwoon stirred from his nap and spotted Kyuhyun was now busy playing with his PlayStation; he sneered when he heard Kyuhyun cursed as he lost for Jongwoon didn’t know how many times he had that day. Jongwoon wanted to sit up, but he felt a weight in his stomach, he then saw Kkoming who was still quietly sleeping on him. He grabbed the bundle carefully and placed her somewhere in the sofa, trying not to woke her up.

Kyuhyun heard the soft rustle behind him, so he turned his head. “Oh, you’re up?” And Jongwoon still groggily answered. “Yeah, what time is it now?” Kyuhyun said that he didn’t notice the time, but he was sure that it must be around five or six in the evening if they look at the outside window, then he turned his attention back to his game. 

Jongwoon found the clock and saw 5:15 PM. “Ah, Should I cook dinner then?” Kyuhyun looked away from his game once again and shouted. “Yeap! I want chicken steak please.”  With that Jongwoon couldn’t help but to snort. “Now you pay attention to me.”

But then Kyuhyun just stuck his tongue out making Jongwoon sigh. “But I don’t know how to make it, if I look at Youtube first, it takes time.” And he then received a pout from Kyuhyun. “It’s okay. Even your failed cooking never had been that bad. I’m so craving for chicken steak” And as always Jongwoon could only give up every time Kyuhyun gave his puppy doe eyes, Kyuhyun always got what he wants from Jongwoon after all. “I’ll try.” He finally said while standing up. 

Jongwoon believe he had a struggle to cook the chicken steak properly, like the several videos he had saw on Youtube, for about 45 minutes. He left the chicken in the grill as he tried to look at the notes in his phone of ‘How to cook a delicious chicken steak?’ that he found after a quick look on Google. However, those notes did not match all of the actions he had tried for the result was totally did the opposite when Jongwoon could smell a weird aroma that came out from the oven. 

He then opened the oven and couldn’t help but curse when he saw a black smoke came out and his nose smell a really strong sickly scent that made him cough a bit. Oh no, he mumbled sadly.

Jongwoon was not a type of person to tell that he love or he care for a person, but he showed it by his small and simple actions, and he never put cooking to be his hobby that he could proud of. Although, to create and provide a great food for Kyuhyun, who is an eating and hungry monster, was always to be his pleasure, and to get a compliment from Kyuhyun will always be his little secret he wouldn’t want to reveal to anybody. That was why he was indeed jubilant to know that Kyuhyun was addicted to his cooking. 

Now, looking dejectedly at the burned piece he made, he felt anxious crawling up through his heart. How could he
