April remembered proposing to a boy 13 years ago on a beautiful spring day. He was cheerful and innocently protective, always following her around. But she had since seen him as he moved to a different city without ever giving April the answer to her question.

The present day was a lot less pretty as April, an aspiring actress, struggled to find jobs and pay her company dues. When she was just about to give up, fate brought her a present. She was invited to a new reality TV show, where she will work with a make believe husband. April was surprised to find out that her virtual husband turned out to be none other than Kim Taehyung, her long lost childhood friend. Except that he turned out to be the exact opposite of how she remembered him: a mischievous and egotistical idol singer.

This story is a combination of a plot I had compiled last year and a request from anon. The setting of this fanfic is actually an alternate universe of the present day but it holds similarity. For now it is rated PG-13 but it may change to an ‘M’ rated for a potential scene, depending on how it turns out.

So what on earth happened to Kim Taehyung? He was such an innocent and lovely boy when he was young. Now at 4 years after debut, Taehyung is a part of a very popular idol group and quite frankly became the stan attracter. Initially he didn't approve of entering the show; neither did his fans. I mean, who thought it would be a good idea to put two strangers in a marriage and have millions of people watch it for entertainment? He changed his mind though when he found out who his wife was going to be. This is going to be fun, he said.  

April Moon

Independent woman! That was April's motto. She had big dreams and she would work a million times harder to get what she wants. Even if it means that April will have to swallow her pride and work with the man she never thought she would ever see again. Pft, Proposal my . Did he forget how he used to follow April around like a lost puppy, asking for her to hold hands with him? Kim Taehyung beware, because she will dominate you! 

Park Jimin

He knows he's hot and he knows he's cute. Sometimes that's all it takes for a girl to fall madly in love with him. He was playful and joyful, just like how his fans want him to be. Kim Taehyung is like a brother to him, a good friend and a peace maker. Who knew? The time would come where they will have to fight over something they both want. Ah, the wonders of youth. Finally Jimin knows where he can put all his lingering effort into now.
