Date?

Absolute Boyfriend

                “You can sleep in Hyunmin’s room.” Kwangmin suggested, opening the door to a clean room.

                 Minwoo lightly patted the freshly sheeted bed, he had never slept in one before, he had to get used to that. He let his backpack fall from his shoulders and land with a small ‘thud’ on the mattress. Kwangmin opened a window, revealing the shining beams of the afternoon sun. It was almost telling Minwoo to start off fresh.

                Youngmin checked the drawers for any spare clothing that seemed to hide. “You can put your stuff here… did you talk to Seh Lyung?”

                The gears in Minwoo’s body stiffened. “Uh, yeah.” He said, wishing to avoid the topic.

                 “Awe, come on Minwoo-ah~” Youngmin whined, shaking the smaller one’s shoulders. “We’re best friends here, give us the details!”

                Downcast, Minwoo faced the bleach white wall. “She doesn’t want me anymore.” He said simply.

                “That’s not true.” Kwangmin interrupted, joining them on the bed. “She’s probably just stressed. Give her some time.”

                “In my opinion,” Youngmin pressed a thumb to his chest with upmost dignity, being supposedly the eldest (by a mere three minutes.) “Move on.”

                “Move on?” Minwoo asked. There was so such thing as moving on. It was the only girl he learned to care about.  Kim Seh Lyung, and Kim Seh Lyung only! Was there a programing to move on?

                “I’m not saying Seh Lyung’s a bad choice—in fact, she’s my type—ow!”

                Kwangmin harshly hit his brother, his other hand cradling Minwoo’s shoulder. “That isn’t the point, hyung. You’re not helping.”

                “Sorry Minwoo-goon. Anyways, I think you should move on. It’s early in the year anyway, so there’s plenty of fish in the sea. Don’t get yourself so hung over on one girl.” Youngmin leaned forward, cupping one side of his mouth with his hand. “And if you’re really into Seh Lyung, I bet you can find another girl and make her jealous.”

                Jealousy? He was supposed to be jealous if a boy approached Seh Lyung, but he had never expressed it as much as Jeongmin, who almost hit Kwangmin for touching Seh Lyung the first time they met. Would that work? Seh Lyung could get jealous if he pretended to be with another girl? If Minwoo was human, he would’ve taken that advice in a heartbeat. This plan could have good endings and bad endings.  But Youngmin had his best interest, right?

                Changing the subject, Kwangmin asked, “When are the hyungs coming?” meaning, when are the hyungs moving in with them?

                Minwoo blew the bangs away from his forehead, quickly devising an answer. “They have to wait for a response from the landlady. It’s a long process.” He was obviously trying to buy time.

                “If you guys live with us it’ll be much easier. I don’t want you guys getting tired out from working all night! In fact, quit your job right now!” Youngmin chimed, bouncing on the bed.

                Minwoo was sure that the last thing his hyungs wanted to do was stay with Youngmin and Kwangmin. It’s not they had anything against them; it was just that they wanted to keep a low profile. The less they knew about them the better they can remain Seh Lyung’s boyfriends.

                Was Minwoo still considered Seh Lyung’s girlfriend?

                Brushing off the thought, Minwoo gave a little bow. “You two are truly great friends for letting me stay.”

                Kwangmin laughed at his formality, and patted him on the back. “You’re too cute.”

                “I still don’t understand why you guys would take me in so quickly.” Admitted Minwoo. “We’ve only known each other for a short time.”

                The twins exchanged looks, each giving the other a heart-filled smile. “We just have a sense that we’re just meant to be best friends.” It was sappy, no doubt, but nevertheless a sweet confession. “That’s what friends are for,” Kwangmin said.

                The young aegyo prince was left with a newfound feeling. It was like love, but in a lesser sense. “I’m so happy that my first friends get to be you,” Minwoo gushed.

                Kwangmin and Youngmin’s features softened. First friends? What about his hyungs? Were they brothers too? Youngmin was quick to react, as he threw his arms around him. “Minwoo, shut up and stop being so mushy, I’m gonna cry!”

                Laughing soon ensured. Minwoo had a feeling he was going to like it here.

```
                “Seh Lyung-ah!” she didn’t even have the time to turn around when she felt her arms being linked by two people and being led outside to the front door. Just as she was going to make herself some hot chocolate, ugh.
                She glared dangerously to the left. “Jeongmin!” she hissed, staring into the eyes of the sneaky boy. She turned to the left, and did a 180® as she smiled sweetly at the guy on her right. “Hyunseong-oppa,” she cooed. “Where are you guys talking me?”
                Hyunseong blushed, rubbing his neck sheepishly with his free hand. “We’re taking you out!”
                Jeongmin stepped in for him as he griped Seh Lyung’s arm tighter. “On a date, of course! Because that’s what boyfriends do, right?”
                She nearly screamed when she was pushed into a sleek black convertible, where Donghyun was waiting in the driver’s seat. “You can drive!?” she asked, mortified. She even let Hyunseong put on her seatbelt for her because she was frozen stiff from shock.
                “It isn’t that hard for a machine like me to override another machine.” Donghyun gave a proud smile as he showed off his driver’s license: Kim Donghyun, Born February 12th, 1989…
                “Where did you get that license?” she gripped the nearest hand (Hyunseong’s) as she felt the vehicle start to life. “Where did you even get this car?” she squeaked like a mouse when the car started to move, yet it didn’t stop her flow of questions. “Where are you even going!”
                Jeongmin laughed. “You’re so cute!”
                “I went to the driving school yesterday. They said I passed with flying colors.”
                Hyunseong furred his eyebrows together. “Colors fly? I thought colors were visual perceptual properties in various settings…”
                “It’s just a saying,” Donghyun chuckled. Hyunseong’s robotic side was showing. “This is one of K.Will-hyung’s cars. And I have no idea where we’re going.”
                Seh Lyung’s jaw dropped at his sheer honesty. “You’re driving and you don’t know where you’re going? What if we get lost?!”
                “Relax, I have a built in GPS.” In the car or Donghyun’s brain?
                Her panic was slowly subsiding as she noticed the calmness in the three people.
                “Pick a place to go.”
                Jeongmin suddenly perked up. “The mall! I haven’t gone there yet.”
                Donghyun clicked his tongue, trying to get Seh Lyung’s attention.
                “What?” she asked.
                “I’m asking you where you want to go.”
                She pretended to think. “I wanna go home.”
                Hyunseong was never one to do aegyo, but in this case he just had to pout. “But I wanted to go to the park.”
                Jeongmin was the first one out of the car when he realized that they were heading to the mall, his white sneakers being a blur against the pavement.
                “Yah,” she glared to the driver. “I wanna go home. What happened to doing what your girlfriend says?”
                “Are you actually acknowledging the fact that I’m your boyfriend?” Donghyun countered, wiggling his eyebrows.
                She shoved him in annoyance, dragging Hyunseong into the mall, Donghyun trailing behind with a satisfied look on his face. They found Jeongmin in a shoe store, marveling at every little thing—even the light-up shoes children wore with the Velcro straps. Her eyes met with the sale rack, and she began to look for some new sneakers, falling into shopping mode.
                In the background she heard the boys playing a game.
                “Kai bai bo!”
                “Chincha!? I lost!” Hyunseong’s voice.
                “Kai bai bo!”
                She settled on a pair of electric blue and black sneakers. They were perfect for gym class next term; her old ones were falling apart. Satisfied, she found her size and walked back to the boys.
                She was shocked to find two of them missing.
                “Ready for our date?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Anyone have any guesses? Who is the first guy? Hehe.

Rini6189: Wow, you're very wordy with your comments. That isn't a bad thing, in fact I love it! I love your indepthness of how you see this story, it makes me happy, ahaha~

Minkwang_: Don't worry, you can spam all you want! I love comment-spam, and the food tastes good too XD yep, I'm trying to give everyone equal attention. There's kind of some Jo twins lacking in the beginning, but I make up for it in future chapters!

ELFyourface: You miss Minwoo? Too bad. SORRY, I'M MEAN ;_; Ah, don't worry, he'll be alright :D

DreamSky: Minwoo will be fine, I think. Hehe.

Superdbskjunior: Thank you! I'm trying to ration out my chapters, actually. Twice a week, usually on Wed. and Sun/Sat, and maybe more during the winter break.

HeeRyung: Yes, the hyung line is AMAZING singing Love Like Oxygen. I bet if they SHINee covered a song they'd dance and sing it nearly perfect.

kimhyunwoos_: Ah Donghyun, SLUNGS FTW.

One more thing:

ATTENTIONNNNNNNN.

It's time to vote!

No, not to who's ending up with Seh Lyung, silly. We're way too early for that.

But one date. A double, possibly triple date. (It isn't for the next chapter. In all honesty right now I'm typing for chapter 25 XD)

So here's your choices!

Donghyun, the lovable teacher.

Hyunseong, the careful sweetie.

Youngmin, the blond ray of sunshine.

Jeongmin, the romantic, forward one.

Kwangmin, the 4-D one.

Unfortunately, Minwoo is unusable for this vote. I hope I don't spoil anything. He might be dead at that point...

Just kidding! ...I think...

So all my silent readers, you better comment if you want your bias to have a date with Seh Lyung!

The person with the most votes will win the date, and the second person with the most votes (If I decide if it's a triple date or not) gets to be my... special plaything... NOT LIKE THATTT. Just in case if I want another sub-plot in that chapter.

Well, see you in a few days!

~Camille
