The Dead Wayfarers 2Yongguk woke up to a quiet morning just to see Seungho sitting on the ground with his eyes closed and arms crossed. As he tried to stand, a sharp pain shot through his leg and his head dropped back onto the armrest as he exhaled and inhaled heavily. Seungho opened his eyes and gaze over to Yongguk.
Seungho stood up and took short strides over to the latter, "Rest for today. Then follow these directions." Seungho pulled out a piece of paper that was folded from his pocket and hand it over to Yongguk, who took it with one hand and began looking at it.
"What is it?"
Seungho folded his arms across his chest again, "Tomorrow leave this place and go there. I made sure it was safe and secured."
Yongguk frowned a little then began opening the folds, he noticed it was three blocks down the road and was an apartment home. "Seungho, do you know about the third floor?" He recalled how the woman spoke of the third floor where the deads were held, but Seungho only mentioned of two floors. Which meant these people kept lying to Seungho. "Under the second floor below ground, your team member said there was a third floor. Where the valubale dead people are at."
Seungho's arms loosen at that and he lowered his arms, "What?"
Yongguk formed a ball with his fist around the paper, "She said there's a third floor where the important dead people are kept, she said that's where Hyori is and that they will possibly add Kyungsoo to that collection if you were to discover of his stay there."
This time Yongguk forced himself to sit up and look up at Seungho with sweat on his forehead, "I'm afraid before you can set out on your plan, they may have already know and plan to put everyone down there." Seungho's eyes began to wander, they were troubled and Yongguk could clearly see that. Seungho then looked into Yongguk's eyes.
"That map I first drawn for you, go to the area there first. Once I get back to WWIV, I'll do everything to bring everyone out safely. So get a car and go there. And be careful with your leg so it won't get infected." Seungho said.
Yongguk nodded, "I really wanted to come with you but I can't leave CL and Yoo Jung, I'm sorry to have you leave alone again my friend Seungho."
Seungho forced a smile in front of Yongguk, "As long as you're alive, I'll save and bring them all out, so please look after them if I don't make it."
Yongguk wanted to stop Seungho but the lad hurried out the door. His eyes water a little at Seungho's last words. This may be the last time he'll get to see Seungho. He wished with all his heart that wouldn't be the case. But that was indeed the case.
And he wasn't even given the chance to bid farewell.
Serri felt the truck shook and heard groans, as she opened her eyes she saw a crowd of deads just outside the back of the truck. She screamed and moved closer to the sleeping Dongwoo, even Howon was awaken by it. Her scream set off a sound for the wayfarers and quickly their attention was focused on them. They began crowding at the back, their groanings, s, and hunger increased.
Howon grabbed his gun and quickly got up to his feet, luckily the back was high enough that no average five foot five could climb easily without the help of others. Dongwoo had his arms wrapped around Serri when she suddenly cling onto him out of fear.
Howon smacked the wall between them and the drivers, but for whatever reason the truck wasn't going to move. He growled, "Where's Seungho?! Is he and Subin not back yet?"
Dongwoo shook his head, "I don't know, they're not here."
Howon ran a hand through his hair then he held up his gun, ready to shoot anyone who may be able to get over the ramp. "Ah what do we do?!"
Dongwoo was as misery as Howon when Serri kept hiding her face against his chest.
"Where did they all come from?" Howon asked irritated, Dongwoo tried to keep some space between him and Serri while Howon paced the back. "Where the heck is the driver?! Why isn't he moving this truck?" No one can answer Howon's questions, yet he kept asking them. Of course, Dongwoo concluded the man was panicking, but there was nothing he could do to comfort his own friend.
Seungho watched as the large crowd of over a hundred or so gathered around the truck.
Noise.
Noise was the perfect weapon to use against large crowds such as this one. Seungho grabbed a shovel on the side of the road with some raw meat stuck to it. It must have been someone's weapon in the past. Seungho walked over to a nice silver Kia and smashed the windows with it. The alarm sound went off and caught the attention of some closer to the back.
