Beep...Beep...Beep

Hearing the alarm clock rang, I slowly opened my eyes and glanced at the clock. It was 9 o'clock and time for me to get out from bed. I'm not a morning person but being someone who comes from royalties has force me to wake up early.

Living in the modern society has help me a lot with communication. I sent a text message to the centre of the house from my phone. Few minutes later, someone knocked on my door. The maids brought my breakfast and served it on a table in my room. After having my delicious breakfast, I decided to spend my day in the library. Like I usual do. 

When I opened my door, I was surprised to see the new guy waiting for me in front of my room. He looked at me and smiled widely. 

'Good morning, my Lord... Have you eaten your breakfast?'

What the hell is wrong with this guy? Doesn't he know that I don't talk? Or is he trying to make me talk? 

I just looked at him and left him behind while making my way to the library. He quickly catch up and walked beside me. 

He then slapped his forehead and chuckled softly, 'Opps, I forgot that you don't talk... But don't worry, I don't mind! Let me introduce myself'

'My name is Eric Mun and I'm 26 years old...' 

That dude started talking about himself, how he got the job, how he had a dog who just died and so on. I was stunned by his talkativeness as I never had a bodyguard like that before. But hearing him talking 24/7 was making me annoyed. 

I halted my steps and glared at him. I don't know how he was going to understand my message but I just want him to shut up. He scanned me and smiled.

'Are you annoyed? Hahaha, sorry... I'm just too talkative I guess' he chuckled awkwardly and scratched his head.

*Damn right you are*

I just rolled my eyes and walked into the library. When I looked at him, he looked so amazed by the place. He started glancing around from one section to another and kept on saying, 'Daebak!' 

I could not believe that he's my bodyguard because he was so childish to be one. I just ignored him and sat at my usual place. The table beside the window where I can see the scenery from the library. 

'Do you always sit here?' 

Eric suddenly appeared from nowhere and sat across me. I just looked at him and continued with my readings.

'I think this is a nice spot... You can see your garden and the view from the hill... I like it!' Eric said and gazing out from the window.

*It is a nice spot*

'You can continue reading and I'm just going to look around' 

Eric stood up from his chair and wandered around the library. I was too focusing on my reading that I didn't realise his presence in front of me. 

When I looked up, I saw him reading with such an intense expression. If I could facepalm, I would. Because this guy was reading a cooking book, more like a recipe book. He kept on looking at the ingredients and the preparations. I don't know whether he's a psychic or not, but when I look at him, he looked up at me and smiled.

'Just so you know, cooking is my passion and I'm pretty good at it... So whenever, you feel hungry... Just tell me and I'll make it for you'

*My cook is better compared to you, so no thank you*

I ended my reading session at 6 o'clock in the evening and I was amazed that Eric didn't complain at all about how boring it was being in the library with a mute person. After dinner, I decided to just sleep and doing nothing. Apparently, I just found out that his room is just across from mine because it will be easier for him if anything happened. 

Before I went inside, he called me and waved goodbye, 'Good night, Lord Shin Hyesung~'

It's been 1 month that Eric guy works under my family and he seemed normal 'hanging out' with me. When I read books, he does too. When I eat, he just waits for me patiently. He didn't complain or say anything about my condition and it somehow made me doubt him. Maybe he wants something from my family? 

Anyhow, I just don't trust him. 

And anyone else.
