Good Company“Unnie, What happened? What do you mean you went on a date with Hongseok oppa…?”, Soohyun asks as Hayi as they both laid their lunch trays down onto the table.
It was the next day when Hayi could finally get her head around what actually happened the night before. Her first date. Kind of? Hongseok oppa had asked her out for dinner and he picked her up in his car and they went to a quiet restaurant nearby in the neighbourhood. She remembered being furious because of Hanbin and telling Hongseok oppa her piece of mind.
Then things got awkward real fast.
“Shhh, don’t speak too loud. I don’t want anyone to hear us.”, Hayi hushes Soohyun as she looks around the cafeteria warily. If rumours got out then she wouldn’t be able to face anyone anymore.
“Okay, so...what you’re saying is Hongseok oppa asks you out on a date? He said you were cute?”, Soohyun says with a lowered voice, eyes looking at Hayi with excitement.
“Yeah, it was awkward…I didn’t even know it was a date to be honest. The whole thing with Hanbin made me so angry and I couldn’t even concentrate on the dinner.”, Hayi replies while eating a spoonful of rice with a side of kimchi.
“Unni!!! That doesn’t matter. Oppa asked you out so he must like you!!! What else did he say?”, Soohyun continues quickly with a broad smile.
“Nothing really…he asked what I thought of him…?”, Hayi replies hesitantly.
“OMO, REALLY?!”, Soohyun squeals out loud.
“SHHHH” Hayi exclaims instantly, head lowering in embarrassment.
“What did you say???”, Soohyun asks with a grin.
“I said he was an oppa that I was comfortable with…”, Hayi says while playing with the sweet potatoes on her plate.
“...and? Are you guys dating now?”, Soohyun asks with bright eyes sparkling in anticipation.
“No. I said I didn’t know what to say...”, Hayi replies and watches her friend sighed with disappointment written all over her face.
“Unni...why? Didn’t you say you wanted a boyfriend? Hongseok oppa is so nic
