BI- Ok, I heard that some YG girls are coming to perform with us and we are all curious.

BI- Haha...no! well, some of them are. Especially Jiwon hyung, he is so excited.

HI- No, why would I be?
BI- well… I don’t know.

“Unni, here!” Soohyun waves to me as I arrive to the YG building. There were cameras being set up and staffs rushing here and there to fix up the settings. I squeeze through everyone and head towards the table where Soohyun and another girl sat. I came a little late due to a small wait at the hair and makeup salon, where I also opted to get my nails done. My hair was all fluffed up and tied into two messy braids falling down my shoulders. I wore a printed collar shirt with high waisted shorts and white closed shoes.

“Hello!” I waved and bowed slightly at the girl sitting beside Soohyun. They both stood up, Soohyun giving me a quick hug which I reciprocated.

“This is Hanna unnie, she was in Kpopstar 3 and she’s going to debut in YG’s newest girl group next year!” Soohyun introduced.

“Ah, yes - hello Hanna ssi. I am Lee Hayi, 1996-er.” I bow slightly.

“No no, sunbae. We are in the same year, it is nice to meet you.” Hanna exclaims with a laugh.

“Ah, are we? then lets become friends, no need to call me sunbae.” I reply with an awkward smile.

“Ok, Hayi ah. I’m so excited for this collab stage. I think it will be fantastic, I can’t wait to meet these boys I’ve heard so much about!” she exclaims excitedly with her eyes shining.

“Ah, you’ve never seen them before?” Soohyun asks in surprise.

“No, I haven’t. We’ve been training non-stop in seclusion since YG sajangnim wants us to debut soon, but since I joined late we had to train more.” Hanna replies with a loud sigh. We both pitied her as we both experienced the fearsome wait of debuting and rough training to perfect the performances before our sajangnim could allow us to debut.

“It will be fine, Hanna ah. I’m sure sajangnim will debut you girls very soon and you guys will have a daebak debut stage.” I reply with a comforting pat on her arm.  We both share an understanding smile but before we could continue, we got distracted by the staff announcing the start of the filming. All of us shuffled and gave a last minute read on the directions before the PD nim started filming.

“Hayi, I didn’t know you and Hanbin ssi are on such good terms!?” Hanna says with a surprised face. We had wrapped up our first filming part and had 15 minutes rest before joining the iKon boys for the rest of the filming.

“Oh...It’s because we are the same age so we got along.” I reply.

“Ahhh, is Hanbin ssi 1996 too..? I didn’t know that! That is good to hear!” she continues with a big smile and walks away.
