CHAPTER 16

“Appa!” a little girl voice calling him from the back while giggling softly.

Jonghyun knew by heart who was it, even though he didn’t see her face yet. He slowly turns around, only to find…his daughter (not so little, anymore) and the love of his life smiling gently towards him.

“Jjong…” how he missed the latter voice calling out his name, couldn’t be stated into words.

They were only two feet away from him, but he felt like they were standing too far from him. He runs with all his might and gently surrounds them with his two muscular hands.

Dear god…if this was just a dream…please don’t ever wake me up ever again.

“I missed you so much…so damn much” he tightens the hug as he said that. He didn’t care if he crushing them, but all he knows is…he wouldn’t let them go, ever again.

“Jjong…we’re not going anywhere. We’ll be together…forever” Kibum whispered while caressing the taller back gently.

“Appa…Umma…you both are crushing me” the little girl said as she struggling to break free from the two lovebirds.

Jonghyun and Kibum burst into laughter as they realized that their little girl was standing between them.

“I’m sorry baby girl…but, look at you…so beautiful. Just like I’ve always dreamt, you would be when you were older” Jonghyun kneeled before his daughter as he cares his little girl cheeks.

Without saying anything, his little girl instantly throws her little arms around her father’s neck, “I missed you…daddy”.

Kibum watched his daughter and his husband with tears pooling in his eyes. Jonghyun had done so much for him and their daughter; it’s only right for him to finally be happy.

“I’m sorry…”

Two words were enough to make Kibum sink onto the white ground while sobbing ever so desperately.

No…please…No…I have so many things to say to him…

“He held our daughter once…ONE TIME!...and now what?!” Kibum shouted with all his might.

Not only Kibum who lost strength in his knees, but Jinki has been sitting on the ground for quite long time.

Taeyeon is crying in her husband embrace since Jonghyun was admitted into ER room.

“We already tried our best, but it seems that he already given up ever since he brought here.” The doctor explained.

Kibum wiped the tears on his face while looking at the room which his ex-husband lies in there “How long…?” he asked weakly.

“We couldn’t be sure of that…he is breathing right now, only because of the machine. It could be several month or several years, depending on his willingness to live.” The doctor walked away as he was done with his explanation.

Kibum weakly took his steps into the room only to see his Jonghyun lied on the bed, unmoving with all those wires attached to his body. His lips was once love to kiss him, now is cold and pale.

Kibum sat on the chair besides the bed and instantly his hand grabs Jonghyun’s big and cold one and brought it towards his cheeks while the fresh tears starting to make their own way down to his already wet cheeks.

“Jjong…it’s me…please wake up…I’m so sorry. I should’ve known. I’m so sorry” Kibum sobbed out.

It was his fault. Everything was his fault; if only he didn’t choose to marry Woohyun…Jonghyun wouldn’t be in coma like this. Jonghyun is there in front of him, but he couldn’t hear the taller voice anymore, he couldn’t feel the warmth of the older that he misses so much and the thing that tearing his heart apart is their daughter. Jonghyun held her one time for a couple of minute and now Minjung won’t be held by Jonghyun anymore.

If he knows Jonghyun will be in this kind of state, he would let Jonghyun held her as much as he wanted. If only he could see the love in Jonghyun eyes when he looked at him just now…Jonghyun wouldn’t be in this state. He wouldn’t be able to see the older big puppy eyes anymore, and everything was his fault.

“Jjong...please forgive me. I’m the one to blame. I’ve done nothing but hurt you. Jinki hyung is right. I regret my decision. I regret everything. Don’t leave me and Minjung alone. We need you…please, Jjong…” the tears wouldn’t stop, no matter how much Kibum tried to suppress it.

Taeyeon and Jiyong silently crying along with Kibum as they heard the younger plead ever so desperately, they could only watch in sympathy.

Jinki was also watching his cousin along with the couple, until he decided to step into the ward. He gently put the younger in his arms, caressing his back lovingly.

“Jonghyun…he was there with you when Minjung came to this world. He was the first person that held Minjung when she came. Today is the second time.” Jinki stared at Jonghyun blankly as he said that. He shouldn’t let Jonghyun walk away from the wedding. If only he knew, Jonghyun would be like this…he would stop him at all cost.

“W-what? He was there?”

Jinki nodded weakly before answering “I knew about this long time ago, but Jonghyun prevents me from telling you. He was afraid Jessica would harm you and Minjung. I couldn’t help but to also kept the truth from everyone.”

“Idiot dino…He loves me that much, yet I said that he’s not worth my love…I’m the one who undeserved his love. All I do is blaming him for everything. Hyung, why? Why him? I’m the one who should be in his place. I’m the one who should die!” Kibum screamed before he fell onto the ground when the darkness starts to surround him.

“Bummie!”

Thankfully Jinki was fast enough to catch the younger before he fall onto the ground.

 “He was just stressed out. He’ll be fine. Just don’t let him stress himself out anymore.” The doctor walked away as he said everything that the family should know.

Kibum was placed in the same room as Jonghyun prior to Soohyun request.

“Why did this happen to our child? What did they do so wrong? They didn’t deserve this,” Said Yesul with tears streaming down to her cheeks.

An hour ago, Yesul almost fainted as she heard that her son is in ICU. Never crossed in her mind that Jonghyun would do something like that for Kibum, Sangwook and Yesul blame themselves for being cruel to Jonghyun. Soohyun and Yeon U also couldn’t help but to feel guilty toward Jonghyun, but there is no use to blame anyone. Jonghyun did all this to protect Kibum, there is no one to blame.

“Unnie…please be strong for our child, they need us. Jonghyun is the strongest man I’ve ever met; he will wake up because he loves Bummie.” Yeon U said as she gently rubbed Jonghyun’s mother back soothingly.

Minho, on the other side is leaning against the wall while watching his best friend lying there peacefully as if he was asleep. He was Jonghyun’s best friend. How could he not see that the older was hurting? How could he? They’ve been friends for 5 years, yet he failed to see how hurting the older was.

“Minho...Do not blame yourself, neither of us knew the truth. Jonghyun hyung was a good actor. We need to support Bummie hyung. This is not the time to blame anyone.” Taemin said as he saw how gloomy his boyfriend is, ever since the taller knew the truth about Jonghyun.

“I know Tae…but I couldn’t help but to feel like I‘m undeserved to call myself as his friend. He must be disappointed with me for believing his act.” Minho instantly brought his palm to cover his face, he couldn’t imagine how hurting the older was and yet he wasn’t there for the latter.  

Taemin instantly wraps his hand around the older waist. “I know…but we need to support Bummie hyung. Jonghyun hyung will wake up…he loves Bummie hyung too much to go without Bummie hyung.” Minho nodded weakly as he buried his face into his boyfriend blonde hair.

 ---

Minjung cries instantly wake Kibum up…he hoped that Jonghyun’s accident was nothing but a dream and the older would be there besides him, waiting for him to wake up…but of course, everything that happened today was real.

Jonghyun is in coma and now, he is breathing with the help of machine. Jonghyun left Kibum and Minjung alone just like how Kibum left Jonghyun all alone, before…but Kibum’s condition right now is better than Jonghyun.

At least his family and friends was there to support him, while Jonghyun was all alone back then, without anyone to support him when he was at his worst.

Upon seeing his son woke up, Yeon U instantly went to him and gave her granddaughter to her mom, which Kibum gladly take.

“I’m sorry, princess. Mommy had to see daddy. I’m so sorry for taking your daddy away…” Kibum once again cry while uttering those words.

Yeon U couldn’t help but to cry along with her son while taking both, her son and her granddaughter in her arms.

“Bummie…don’t say it like that. If Jonghyun heard that he would be sad. Jonghyun will wake up. I know he will. Don’t lose your hope just yet. He’ll be back to you and Minjung. Everything that Jonghyun do up to this moment is because he loves you with all his heart.” Yeon U whispered as she caressed the latter back with tears streaming down to her face.

Please…wake up soon, Jonghyun.

“I will wait for him…I’ll wait for him, no matter how long it will take.” Kibum said as he kissed his daughter’s forehead.

3 Month Later

“Jjong…how are you today? Your baby girl wasn’t being a good girl today. She didn’t want my mom to feed her…I have to wait until she’s asleep, only then I could come here. I wanted to bring her along, but you know your daughter, once she’s here she wouldn’t stop crying until she was placed by your side. I can’t let her disturb you. The doctor said so.” Kibum continued to talk about his day while changing the flower in the pot besides Jonghyun’s bed.

“So…” Kibum couldn’t continue his next words once his eyes fell upon the sleeping guy besides him.

Every single day he came and talk to Jonghyun like he heard him and every single day he would cry once his questions weren’t getting any answer. He misses Jonghyun so very much that it hurts. He wanted to hear the older voice. He wanted the older to laugh along with him whenever their daughter scrunching up her nose to show her dislike towards something.

“Jjong…I miss you. Minjung miss you. We both need you. Wake up soon, please…” sobbed Kibum while burying his face besides Jonghyun’s hand.

“I don’t care if you hate me, but please wake up and live. I don’t care if you wouldn’t want to see me anymore. I just want you to wake up and live your life happily, not lying on the bed like this. Just please wake up. I would gladly accept your hate if only you wake up” Kibum’s voice is muffled by the bed, but he is still talking, more like cursing and blaming himself.

“I-I could never h-hate you…” a weak voice answered him. It’s weak but loud enough for him to hear.

Kibum instantly brought his wet face up upon hearing a very familiar voice, a voice that he’d been dying to hear for the past three months. He was too shocked at the now awake man besides him to notice that his mouth was hanging open.

Unable to say anything, Kibum fresh tears starting to make their own way onto his cheeks…

“Hey…I’m awake now, right? Don’t cry” Jonghyun said while smiling ever so gently.

That smile…

The smile that he was dying to see…

“Y-you’re awake!” Kibum launched himself against the latter as he said that. His Jonghyun is awake. 

“I missed you so very much…don’t ever leave me again” Kibum said as he buried his face into the crook of Jonghyun’s neck.

Jonghyun smiled at the younger cute act, before wrapping his arms around the latter shoulder while caressing his ex-husband back, lovingly.

“Bummie…how was your wedding?” The taller broke the hug, avoiding Kibum’s eyes. He was having a good dream about Kibum and Minjung, but the reality starts to hit him in the face. Only then Jonghyun remember about the wedding.

Kibum and Minjung are no longer belongs to him, the truth that he refuses to admit.

 “You idiot…if I was married, I wouldn’t be here, right now. Why didn’t you tell me? Do you know how I felt when I know that you did that to protect me? I hate myself. I wanted to die when I know you were in coma.” Kibum cried out.

“I was in coma? Today isn’t your wedding? I meet you at the waiting room just now, didn’t I?” Jonghyun asked, obviously puzzled.

“It’s been three month since that day…Jjong. You were asleep for three month. Every day I came to you. I was afraid you would leave me and Minjung alone. I was afraid that you would leave without hearing my apology.” Kibum cried again for the umpteenth time.

“Hey…I’m here now…didn’t I? I’m sorry for hurting you. I’m sorry that I had to keep everything to myself. I just couldn’t let Jessica hurt you.” Jonghyun gently wipe those tears away. For the first time in forever Jonghyun glad that he woke up. Ever since he separated with Kibum, everyday he wished to never wake up again…because the dream that he had was too good to be true.

“Jjong, I’m the who supposed to ask for your forgiveness…I’m so sorry for hurting you…I don’t know if my apology is enough to make up to you, but I love you so much. I never love anyone else besides you, not even Woohyun could replace your place in my heart.” Kibum stared directly into Jonghyun’s puppy eyes as he uttered the words.

“Let’s not blame each other, Bummie…I am more than happy right now to have you in my arms. I love you, Bummie…more than you ever imagined” Jonghyun leans closer towards the younger and gently placed his lips against the bow-shaped one, which Kibum gladly accepts it.

Jonghyun and Kibum are too engrossed with each other to notice their fathers were watching them with a big smile on their face.

Soohyun and Sangwook who happen to watch the two lovebirds instantly withdraw themselves out of the room, giving the lover their time that has been lost…Both of Sangwook and Soohyun, smiling widely towards each other, before prying out their phone to tell their respective family, this wonderful story.

Kibum told Jonghyun everything that happened during his wedding, three month ago. Jonghyun couldn’t help but to burning with rage after knowing the mastermind of their separation. He feel sick thinking that Kibum almost marry that . If he knows Woohyun was behind all this, he definitely wouldn’t allow the marriage.

However, Jonghyun was taken aback when Kibum told him that Jessica was the one who disclose everything. He thought Jessica hates him with all her heart, Kibum also couldn’t tell why Jessica would do that.

“Jjong…Let’s get married…again…” with flushed face, Kibum dared to ask. He just wanted to start all over again. He wanted to build a beautiful family with Jonghyun, just like how he dreamt it to be.

Jonghyun’s puppy eyes almost popped out from his head hearing Kibum.

I wasn’t dreaming, right? Did Bummie just proposed? To me?

Jonghyun stared Kibum’s flushed face with his now wide puppy eyes, while Kibum finds everything around the room is very interesting except for Jonghyun. Jonghyun grins evilly at Kibum as he noticed that the younger is avoiding his eyes.

Jonghyun instantly grabs Kibum’s chin and stared deeply into the feline eyes, before he smiled softly and answered “I was going to ask you first, but you beat me to it. It’s definitely yes.” Then the older plump lips met the bow-shaped one as soon as he answered.

“Ehem…”

 Kibum is lying besides Jonghyun on the bed; almost fell onto the ground as he heard the fake cough. They surely were enjoying the kiss when Kibum’s annoying cousin decided to interrupt. Both of them smiled awkwardly with flushed face, obviously embarrassed by the fact that someone caught them, eating each other’s face.

“Ahem…so…that was pretty fast you guys. I never thought you would reconcile this fast. I should listen to Jinki hyung. I’m regretting my decision.” Taemin blabbed, before stepping into the room.

Kibum glared at the younger.

“Oh no…Don’t go diva on me…if you haven’t notice, you have a 4 month old daughter that is giving Minho a headache because she won’t stop crying, I thought babies would like frog but she needs her mom more than a frog.” Taemin returned the glare with dirty looks.

Minho and Taemin was planning to go on date, but thanks to the certain older cousin that was busy making out with the patient, forgetting that he had a daughter…they had to cancel the long awaited date.

Only then Minjung came to their minds. What kind of parents are they? tsk…tsk..

“Where is she?” Jonghyun eyes twinkled when Taemin mentioned his daughter’s name.

Taemin smiled lightly before answering “Minho is bringing her up…By the way, glad you’re awake now. I’m glad that Bummie hyung wasn’t going to raise Minjung by himself.” Taemin took a step closer to Jonghyun before surrounding the older into his arms

“Why didn’t anyone visits me? It’s been two hours since I woke up, but no one came…” Jonghyun stated disappointedly after Taemin broke the hug.

Taemin let out a big laugh before flaring a glare towards the older patient “Everyone plans to come actually, but we were stopped by Soohyun uncle. He said you guys will be busy making him another grandchild. Jinki hyung also stated the same.”

Jonghyun’s face once again turns to red crimson at the thought of having with Kibum. Of course their parents would think of that, it’s been a really long time since forever for both of them. Now that all of the misunderstanding is cleared out, they could feel the burning desire towards each other.

Kibum wasn’t any better when he wanted nothing but to be touched and loved by none other than Jonghyun. Jonghyun’s condition right now is the only thing that prevents him from jumping towards the older. If only Jonghyun wasn’t lying on the hospital bed and with the IV stuck to his hand, Kibum was sure as hell he would beg Jonghyun to take him right there.

The two lovebirds are avoiding each other eyes, afraid that their imagination will go beyond what they could control.

Taemin could only rolled his eyes in annoyance seeing both of them trying not to lust over each other, when their eyes obviously showed the other way around…He cursed his boyfriend inwardly for taking a long time to be there and save him from the two lovebirds.

“Please don’t ever ask me to take care of her again…” cried out a certain soccer player as soon as he burst into the ward. His voice is completely drained out.

Kibum, Jonghyun and Taemin burst out into a fit of laughter seeing the disheveled hair of the taller. It looks like he’s been running around the whole hospital. Minjung can’t even walk yet, why does he looks like he’s been chasing her around?

“W-what happened to you?” Kibum asked…still couldn’t recover from the laughter earlier, as he took Minjung from Minho. Minjung instantly stops crying as she felt the warmth of her mother.

Minho throws a dirty look towards the latter before answering “Your dear daughter won’t stop crying no matter what I do. She just doesn’t stop. The guard thought I kidnapped her somewhere. What kind of kidnapper brings a crying child to the public? And not to mention that, I am a famous soccer player!” Minho exclaimed with the whole body.

But unfortunately for him, they just laughed harder than before, ignoring the real reason why he was upset.

Minho rolled his eyes in annoyance, before he approached Jonghyun.

“Hyung…-” before he could speak, his dear boyfriend decided to in.

“Minho…this is not the time. Let’s give them, their time, alright?” Taemin whispered as he stared at the small but happy family in front of him.

Minho also staring at the family, smiling softly at his boyfriend…He took the younger’s hand and walked out from the room, giving the family a space to make up the time that has been lost.

Kibum on the other side was thankful towards Taemin for understanding him at the moment. He knows Minho wanted to apologize but they need the time for themselves before anything else.

Minjung was in Kibum’s hand before Jonghyun asked to hold her, which Kibum gladly complied with it. Jonghyun eyes twinkled as his daughter is in his arms. He couldn’t help but to tear up, he couldn’t believe that he could be with Kibum and Minjung again. This time for real. Not only in his dream.

Minjung is only 4 months old, but she is smiling happily now that she is in her daddy’s big and warm arms.

“I’m so sorry, baby girl for leaving you and your mommy all alone. I won’t let you guys go anywhere without me anymore. I won’t.” Jonghyun whispered as he surrounds both, Kibum and their daughter in his muscular arms.

Knock…Knock

Jonghyun and Kibum instantly turned their head towards the door, waiting for the intruder to come in.

And when she did…both of their eyes went twice bigger than actual size.

“J-Jessica?” Kibum muttered.

“Hello…” replied the girl with a smile on her face.

Jonghyun grabs Kibum’s hands instantly and drag the younger to his side, away from Jessica. His action is understandable since Jessica was the one who wanted Kibum dead. Indeed Jessica was the one who disclose everything about Woohyun, but it still couldn’t change the fact that she almost shoots the younger long time ago.

“Don’t worry I came here to apologize, I didn’t mean any harm” she explained as she saw how alarmed Jonghyun is, ever since she came.

Jonghyun still didn’t free Kibum’s hands, instead he tighten his grip. He was afraid that Jessica would take Kibum away again. He wouldn’t allow it anymore. He won’t let Kibum go anymore, if it would take his life…he wouldn’t let Kibum and Minjung go.  

 Kibum could only let a small smile playing on his lips, afraid that Jessica would feel uncomfortable with the stare Jonghyun gave.

Jessica’s smile never left her face, even though she knows Jonghyun didn’t like her presence…but she needed to apologize for everything. She won’t feel at ease if she didn’t do it.

“Jonghyun…” Jessica started, before she kneeled before Jonghyun and Kibum, which earned a gasp from Kibum.

“I am so sorry for every single thing that I do…I know it’ll be hard to forgive me, but I just wanted to say sorry. I’ve r-regretted everything. I w-wish I could turn back the time, but I couldn’t, so instead I’d like to apologize. I-I’m so sorry” Jessica said loud and clear at first, but it became messier as she continued, as her tears fall along with her confession.

Kibum shift his eyes towards Jonghyun as he felt the older grip has loosened a bit. He smiled and squeezed the older hand before giving him a sweet smile. The younger approached the sobbing girl and helped her to stand up, which she complied quietly.

Kibum is now standing besides the girl. He nodded his head gently as his eyes meet the pair of puppy eyes, assuring the sick man that she is different from before. Jonghyun smiled before shifting his eyes towards the crying girl besides his Bummie.

“Jess…I forgave you from the moment you were against Kibum and Woohyun wedding.” Jonghyun smiled gently towards the girl as he said that.

Jessica lifted her head in surprise, looking through Jonghyun’s eyes. The look Jonghyun had has gotten softer than before, only then she muttered a small thank you as her sobs has quiet down a bit.

Jonghyun was about to ask something, until a certain clumsy maniac decided to burst in and falling onto the ground, before standing up while his eyes never leaving the crying girl.

“Baby, are you okay? Did Jonghyun say anything harsh to you?” came a worried voice all of a sudden.

Instead of asking, Jonghyun is now gaping like an idiot as he saw the most unexpected person, called Jessica ‘Baby’ and not to mention how he was afraid that the patient will hurt the girl.

“I’m sorry…but is it just me, or Jinki hyung is acting like an overprotective boyfriend, just now? Am I losing my mind after being asleep for 3 months?” Jonghyun exclaimed dramatically.

Kibum couldn’t help but to laugh at Jonghyun’s idiot expression, before answering.

“You’re not losing your mind…Jinki hyung is really an overprotective boyfriend.” Kibum replied as he once again burst into a fit of laughter.

Jinki throws a dirty glare towards his cousin while Jessica only chuckled happily towards her boyfriend.

Jinki and Jessica announced their relationship two months ago, which surprised everyone. Jinki sure like to use a dramatic moment to announce it.

“I know you wouldn’t expect this, but when I was at my worst Jinki approached me. He didn’t judge me the way others would. I’m sorry Jonghyun and Kibum. You guys wouldn’t be in this kind of situation if I didn’t choose to destroy it.”

Jonghyun shook his head to protest against Jessica’s statement.

“Jess…It’s all in the past. You forgot one thing though.” Jonghyun replied with a small smile before continued “…it was your choice to go against Kibum’s wedding 3 month ago, which is why he is in my arms again.” Kibum stared his lover with admiration. Jonghyun indeed has changed so much. It makes him proud to call the older his.

“Bummie…we’re still here you know.” Jinki teased his cousin as he saw Kibum is literally Jonghyun with his stare, which earns a murderous glare from the feline eyes.

“Bummie, Jessica…Could you leave us alone, please? I have something to talk to Jinki hyung.” Jonghyun suddenly turns serious, which scared Kibum a little.

Without saying anything, Kibum took Minjung from Jonghyun and quietly leaves the two men, talking about god knows what and he couldn’t help but to feel incredibly curious about that.

Kibum shrug off his curious feeling, because he is sure that Jonghyun will tell him, sooner or later. If the older didn’t, then he would pry it off from Jinki, as simple as that.

With sleeping baby in his arms, he sits in front of his lover ward waiting the discussion to end along with his cousin’s girlfriend.

“Jessica, if you don’t mind me asking…why did you stops the wedding? I mean, the wedding was the reason why you start those plans, right?” Kibum asked after he gather up his courage, he didn’t have any guts to ask before, but now his curiosity beats him.

Jessica let a little smile playing on her lips, before she answered.  

“You’re wrong…Jonghyun is the reason why I agreed with Woohyun’s plans. I wanted Jonghyun to suffer after he broke my heart. He did tell you about my inability to conceive, right?” Kibum could only nodded weakly to answer the question

Jessica smiled at the answer, before she continued “I was jealous of you. You know how much Jonghyun loves kids, right? He was so happy when I told him I was pregnant. He’s a good guy, he doesn’t even know the child I was bearing wasn’t his. I started dating him because of his money and looks, but he was nothing but a sweet and gentle boyfriend. I thought I didn’t love him, but since I know you were pregnant…only then I realize that I don’t want him to be happy with anyone else except me. When I know he loves you, I’ve decided to hurt him and make him want me back…but I was wrong. He loves you more than anything else that he willing to work as a cashier and sleep on the cold kitchen floor, not to mention how he would kept your picture close to him.”

Kibum didn’t even realizes when he started to bawl like a child…he just couldn’t kept his tears away when he learned how much Jonghyun has suffered because of him. 

Jessica shakes her head, probably disgusted at herself on how she could be so cruel towards Jonghyun when the older had given her nothing but happiness. Jonghyun even forgives her when he caught she was sleeping with another guy.

“I’m truly disgusted at myself and I’m so sorry to you and Jonghyun. I stopped enjoying the revenge because he lived his life as a walking dead. He stopped smiling. He blamed himself at how hurt you’ve become. I just couldn’t continue when Woohyun said he would kill Minjung if his plan didn’t go as he wanted. I was almost become a mom and I know how hurt it will be to lose a child that growing inside you.” Jessica continued as she lowered her head in shame.

Kibum wiped his tears away as he turned to the girl and squeeze her hand to assure her that everything is okay. She’s regretting her mistake, that’s more important at this moment.

“Jess…Thank you. If it wasn’t because of you, I would lose Minjung by now. What happened to us is an obstacle for us to reach a happy ending.” Kibum gently assured the crying girl with a warm smile.

Jessica admired how Kibum managed to forgive her that fast after all those she caused. Indeed he is Jinki’s cousin. If Jinki could accept her when she at her worst, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if Kibum could forgave her.

Jinki was the only one who offered a hand for her to grab when she was about to give up on her life. At that time she feels like she was nothing but an empty shell. Who would love a girl that couldn’t conceive? Who would look at her after she admitted that she was an accomplice of Woohyun? That was when Jinki came with a warm smile plastered on his face. He makes she feels like a princess. All this time she was searching for a man that could respect her as a girl, a man that could love her as much she loves him…Jinki is the description of perfection.

There were also times when she feels that she was undeserved to be with Jinki. He is a perfect man that any girl would love, but she is nothing like him. She couldn’t even offer a wonderful family to him, a family that is blessed with children. She hated that fact but she hates herself even more than that. If she was careful when she was pregnant before, she wouldn’t have to suffer like this and bring Jinki along with her. She saw how Jinki’s eyes would twinkle when he saw Minjung, and it makes her feel like a .

Jinki didn’t do anything wrong, why he was being punished? When Jessica was having a war with herself…the older man assured her multiple times that they could be a family that is, as perfect as everyone else did. They could adopt a child or two and loves them as their own.

Jessica was more than thankful to get to know the older…after all the bad things she did, she wasn’t sure if he was right for her. Jinki always assured her that he was just a human and that she was more than perfect for him, which was hard for Jessica to believe in it.

“Hyung…please keep it as a secret. I won’t trust anyone else other than you.” Jonghyun said as their almost an hour discussion come to end.

“Don’t worry…you have become my favorite cousin. Don’t tell Bummie I told you that. You don’t want to imagine how will he react, if he heard those.” Jinki assured with a little joke at the end.

Jonghyun laughed at the older old jokes, but he knew better than to tell Kibum about that. He knew Jinki wasn’t just joking.

“Hyung…please tell my future husband to come in, I already miss him.” Jonghyun pouted as he said that.

“Oh no, is it just me or you’re acting cute just now?” Jinki exclaimed in surprised manner with his whole body included.

“Hyung…Just call him” Jonghyun rolled his eyes in playful manner but said those words as serious as he could.

Jonghyun had to ask Kibum to leave him and Jinki alone because he had something to discuss with the older, but the truth is, he doesn’t even want to be apart from Kibum and Minjung for even one second. He just had them again after almost a year. He had missed so many things, and now he couldn’t bear to lose any other second of his life without Kibum and Minjung.

“Alright, Romeo…” Jinki replied still in playful manner. Jinki wasn’t fond of Jessica’s idea to come to the hospital and disturb the family’s reunion, but he knows that his girlfriend wouldn’t be able to get any sleep just like those 3 months when Jonghyun was in coma.

She blamed herself for what had happened. If she was asleep…it wouldn’t be more than 2 hours, because she would always have a nightmare. For these past few weeks, she chooses to not sleep at all…it was as if she was afraid to even close her eyes.  He knew she was tired, but she refuse to get any sleep. Of course she already apologizes to Kibum, but she was afraid that Jonghyun wouldn’t wake up and she will not have her chance to apologize.

As soon as she heard Jonghyun’s awake, she wants nothing but to come and meet the latter. Jinki didn’t want to disturb Kibum, but his girlfriend was torturing herself that he had to disturb them. Jinki already explained everything to Jonghyun, hoping that the younger would understand his situation.

“Speak for yourself, Hyung…” Jonghyun counterattack while Jinki replied with a loud laugh.

Jinki doesn’t even have to open the door when the certain diva boy invites himself in.

“Here’s come your Juliet” Jinki joked without turning his body to the patient along with another laugh as he steps out from the ward.

Jonghyun smiled to his lover before invites the younger to join him on the bed. It was scary, that he already missed the younger so much when it wasn’t even an hour since they saw each other.

“I missed you…” Jonghyun whispered into the younger’s hair as the latter safely lied on the hospital bed.

“I missed you too…so much” Kibum replied as he buried his face into Jonghyun’s chest.

Their little girl is sleeping soundly between her parents, without even bothering to open her eyes and find out the other source of warmth that just surrounds her body, besides her mother. It was as if she already knew that it was her father.
