“How has she been in school?” I asked Luhan.

“She’s been doing great.” Luhan replied.

I was currently working in the laboratory and I was quite busy but I decided to invite Luhan nonetheless since I wanted to know about how Amber’s been at school. I was fixing the broken CPU on my table while the kids watched. I was already reattaching the casing until I noticed that a screw was missing.

“Could you just, wait for a while? I lost a screw-“ I was cut off when Amber suddenly raised the table- with all my papers, tools, the computer monitor and the CPU on it- using one hand.

“Is this the screw you’re looking for uncle?” She pointed to a screw on the floor, on the exact spot where the table was on.

“Wow.” Luhan gasped.

“Um, yeah, that’s the one.” I casually said as I picked up the screw.

I noticed Luhan was still in a daze so I decided to interrupt his thoughts.

“Luhan, thank you for taking care of Amber. It really means a lot to me.” I said gratefully.

“It’s nothing uncle, I’m always at your service.” He grinned as we watched Amber put the table down.

“Um, I think we can do something about her super human strength though…” I suggested as I finished with the CPU case and rebooted the computer.

“What are you going to do Mr. Choi?” Luhan asked.

I went to a stained glass storage cabinet and opened one of the drawers inside. I took a out a syringe containing green-colored liquid.

“What’s that Mr. Choi?” Luhan asked.

“This is one of my newest experiments. “ I said as I went to Amber.

“What is it supposed to do?” Luhan asked.

“If it works well, I could be able to tone down Amber’s strength.” I replied as I injected the needle into her skin. Her eyes changed color and I went to sit in front of the computer and opened a special computer software I designed myself. I almost jumped off of my seat when the program successfully loaded. I immediately pressed the icon indicating ‘strength’ and adjusted it to match the average human capacity. I saved the changes and closed the program.

“She has normal strength now.” I said.

“Am I already normal Uncle?” Amber asked as her eyes changed back to normal.

“Not yet. Not fully, at least.” I said.

 “If you can control her with that, why can’t you give her emotions? Why can’t you make her fully alive if you have that software Mr. Choi?” Luhan asked.

“Sad to say Luhan, computers cannot control things that are supposed to be human. It can only control the absurd. Like her supernatural strength, for example. But, I cannot meddle with things that should happen naturally, like emotions.” I said.

“Oh. I see.” Luhan said.

“Anyways, there will be lesser risks with the new change.” I smiled.

“Yeah.” Luhan said.

“Why don’t you two go somewhere nice? I bet you’re getting bored here.” I smiled. “ The mall or the park, perhaps? Besides, I never had the chance to take Amber anywhere else because I’ve been too busy.” I finished.

“We’re going out?” Amber asked.
