Chapter 35
Teach MeAs promised yesterday night, as soon as Kris, Aeri, and his mother had finished breakfast, the trio had made their ways to the heart of downtown, roaming the city for their promised shopping spree. And after going from block to block, they had finally gotten tired of all that and instead went to the mall, stopping for lunch at a restaurant before continue their plans.
“You're sitting by me.” Kris quickly pulled Aeri to his side when he saw her going towards his mom and gently pushed her down into the seat next to him.
And at his actions his mother could only roll her eyes, finding Kris' behavior to be very sweet, yes but also ridiculous. “You were always possessive since you were a kid, Kris.” Kris possessive personality trait was no secret to anyone. Even as a child, whatever belonged to Kris would be his only and he definitely wasn't one for sharing. He, of course , never let things get out of hand and didn't always overreact. A little bit of pushing was all he needed but surely, if he didn't want to share, he wouldn't. “Would it kill y/ou if Aeri left your side for a minute?”
“Yes.” Kris deadpanned, giving his mother a blank stare. And again, all his mother could do was roll her eyes and scoff. Her son really was something else.
“You're too much, Kris. I don't understand how Aeri can deal with you.” His mom continue to tease. “You're such an angel, honey.” She then directed towards the young girl. “He must be a pain.”
Aeri smiled and shook her head. “He isn't. Kris is very sweet and patient with me.”
“I sure hope so. I'll knock some sense into him if he's ever mean to you.” His mother promised, giving her son the side eye.
