It was a rather chilly morning today and it only made things colder for Aeri when she realized she woke up alone in bed. For a split second, she wondered where Kris was because usually, she'd wake up in his arms but as soon as the thought crossed her mind, she remembered that she had shared the bed with his mother last night.

Now that she was awake, there was no way she was going to fall back asleep. She decided to start her day and started by washing up, once done, she headed into the kitchen to find Kris' mom.

“Morning.” Aeri greeted the older woman, walking over to her side to see what she was doing.

“Aeri.” The taller woman was pleasantly surprised to see the younger girl and greeted her with a hug. “You're awake already?”

“Yeah. I'm used to waking up pretty early.” Aeri explained, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and peeking over the taller woman's shoulder again. “Do you need help with anything?” She then asked, seeing that Kris' mother was cooking a very hearty breakfast, a big meal like she always does.

“I'm okay over here but can you help wake up Kris?” His mother requested. “I know how deep of a sleeper he is but he seems very receptive to your touch.” She then teased with a sly smile.

And Aeri could only blush at this and muttered a quick 'sure' before scurry off to wake up her boyfriend.

Aeri walked over to the couch and stood in front of it, peering down at her sleeping boyfriend. She smiled at his sleeping face and crouched down in front of him, combing her fingers through his dark hair. It was times like these where she wondered why people thought Kris was so cold and intimidating. He was insanely sweet, attentive, and caring almost to a fault. He was never mean, rude, or scary to her they way he was kno
