Chapter 30
Teach MeAeri didn't want to wake up so early this morning, especially not when she was snuggled up so warmly beside her boyfriend but her internal alarm clock had her waking up much sooner than desired. She groaned softly and stretched out her limbs while in the embrace of Kris' arms. Relaxing in her position once more, Aeri turned around and faced her boyfriend, taking a moment to observe his define features illumination in the sunlight.
Kris looked nothing like the cold heartthrob he was known for on campus asleep. Kris Wu, in his sleep, looked....silly. His hair was a mess, his mouth agape, and he was snoring. He wasn't y, cool, or chic. The guy before her was simply her loving boyfriend. She reached out and gently combed her fingers through his bed head, fixing his untidy hair as best as she could before running a finger down his nose, pinching his nostril shut and giggling when he snorted unattractively.
They had always had a close bond since they were kids, always sticking to one another but being in a relationship had them knowing the most intimate details of each other. And if someone were to ask her a year ago if she could see herself in this position, lying in bed with Kris, or any man for that matter, she would have said no in a heartbeat. She didn't know anything about relationships, or boys for that matter but Kris had taught her so much in the past year with the utmost patience and not once did she ever regret what she did with Kris.
It wasn't an easy feat, because Kris was like a koala in his sleep but Aeri was able to pry his arms off her so she could get ready for school. Even if she didn't want to go, she had dance practice today and a meet up with Sehun, who she was dreading to see. Regardless, she needed to get on with her day and lying in bed all this time would do nothing. So she hopped off her bed, carefully, and padding across the room to the conjoin bathroom to clean up for the day.
And like usual, once she was finished showering, she emerged out of the steamy bathroom and stepped back into her bedroom, only to see her boyfriend sitting up on her bed with a frown. This sight had become a familiar image to her and it was always the cutest thing to see her usually cool boyfriend so pouty. She knew very well how this part of the routine worked so before Kris could say anything, she was already by his side, wounding her arms around his bare torso.
“You know, one of these days, I'd appreciate it if I wake to see your face first thing in the morning.” Kris whined, directing a small glare her way. “You always wake up before me and go off doing something else.” Just like Aeri had expected, Kris didn't like waking up without her and seriously, it was the cutest thing to see him this whiny.
“Sorry.” She apologized with a sheepish smile, kissing away the worries of the brooding man. “I really needed a shower.” Hey boyfriend didn't answer, only groaning tiredly, pulling them back down into the sheets. “Why are you up so early?” He questioned, completely oblivious to what time it was due to his disoriented state.
“I need to get ready for class, Kris. I already missed my first one.”
Another groaned escaped the man's lips and then a sigh. “Tell me again why you're taking morning classes?” Kris wasn't a morning person and loved sleeping in. He knew Aeri wasn't exactly one to enjoy waking up early either so he wondered why she would choose to have classes at 7am.
“It doesn't matter.” She quickly directed the conversation elsewhere. “My parents and brothers should be gone by now. We bot
