As soon as I walked through the door I was hit by the scent of alcohol and wanted to bolt. But I had to restrain myself because I had promised Jackson that I would come with him to this party, that and he was practically dragging me through the door frame. The bass of the music thumped through the whole house, loud enough so that I could feel it in my chest and it followed every heartbeat, every breath until I felt my ribs buzzing with it. "Jackson, I don't like it here," I said lowly as he pulled me into the kitchen.
