Description

In which Im Jaebum searches for more than just another pretty face, another fake smile, another robotic personality the same as the last. He searches for something more, someone more. Then he meets her, on a crowded street in downtown Seoul and he is left with nothing but the view of her long and silky black hair and a dropped photograph.

Foreword

My heart does not flow with the waves of happy people. Robotic, I force my way through the haunting faces of those who have chosen a sickeningly sweet smile as their permanent expression. Dead eyes drift from face to face, only to behold the smiles plastered onto lips that seem not to know how to form a different expression.

Everyone here is essentially the same. They don't notice anything, they don't say anything, and they don't think anything. These people are merely shells, people who walk the earth blindly without purpose. Soon they will disappear like the melting snow, they all will because, they, we, are fleeting beings. This epidemic constantly leads people to thier utterly pointless deaths, and yet, its pathogen will never be eradicated. This is a disease called ignorance, a spiritual form of death that people have repeatedly wished upon themselves.
