Chapter 15
Only One For Me
“Oppa! Is this true?!” Sunye ran to him.
“Sunye, please get out,” Donghae said while sitting in the living room.
“Oppa, I know it is…So come over tonight and stay with me,” Sunye smiled.
“SUNYE I SAID GET OUT!!” Donghae shouted.
“Mwoh?” Sunye glared at him.
“I’M SICK OF YOU!!! I’M TIRED!!! I’M STRESSED SO GET OUT!!” Donghae threw the wine bottle at the door.
“Jerk!” Sunye ran out of his house.
“Why did this all happen?” Donghae burped.
“Why?” Donghae said. He got up and walked to his office.
“Sleepy head cucumber,” Donghae called while opening a draw.
“Where are you?” he took out a box and opened it.
“Jessica, come back,” Donghae cried while taking the pictures he took of Jessica out of the box.
“Jessica, come back please,” Donghae cried with tears falling.
~One Week Later-Press Conference
“Is all this true?” a reporter asked Donghae.
“What is true?” Donghae replied.
“You and Jessica…Was it all a lie?” the reporter asked.
“Everyone here should know that Kim Jaejoong was always my rival,” Donghae started.
“That’s not the point,” someone else said. “We just need to know if you and Jessica were ever real.”
“We…We had feelings for each other,” Donghae said.
“That’s not answering our question…and how do you know if Jessica feels the same way?” someone asked.
“I just know,” Donghae replied.
“Where is she now?” a reporter asked.
“She’s…I don’t know,” Donghae sighed.
“Why did she leave?”
“Where is she?”
“Is this all real or is it fake?”
“Stop!” Donghae stood up. “She’s gone now! She doesn’t want me to be in her life, so will everyone just leave?! I pulled her into this mess and now she’s gone so let her live in peace!” Donghae shouted.
“So it was all fake?”
“You used her?”
“It…It was,” Donghae sighed.
After a couple weeks, the news finally died and no one ever mentioned it again.
~One Year Later
“Thank you,” Jessica bowed.
“Jessica, even if I’m your boss doesn’t mean we can’t be friends,” another girl said.
“I know, Tiffany,” Jessica sighed.
“Don’t spend your whole paycheck…you still owe me some money,” Tiffany laughed.
“I will pay you back soon, I promise,” Jessica said.
“Don’t worry about it, I’m just joking,” Tiffany giggled.
“I need to clean your office,” Jessica replied.
“It’s a fashion department, it doesn’t matter if it’s a mess,” Tiffany said.
“It’s my job,” Jessica told her.
“Come on, come eat dinner with my boyfriend and I,” Tiffany suggested.
“It’s okay,” Jessica rolled up her sleeves and started to clean.
“Omo…Another cut?” Tiffany walked up to Jessica.
“A-Aniyo,” Jessica pulled her sleeves down.
“Jessica, where is that cut from? Why do you keep getting hurt?” Tiffany asked worriedly.
“I…I fell while…while working at the coffee store!” Jessica said.
“Be careful,” Tiffany grabbed her coat and purse. “Do you need a ride home?”
“Aniyo, I don’t want Siwon to wait for you…Go ahead, have fun,” Jessica told her.
“Okay, don’t forget to lock up,” Tiffany smiled and left.
“What a lucky girl,” Jessica sighed and walked out.
Jessica slowly opened the door and walked into the kitchen.
“Where’s all my food?” Jessica asked while looking through the drawers. “Where’s my ramen?”
“Where’s my money?!” she heard someone slammed the door.
“A-Appa,” Jessica stood next to the wall.
“It’s been too long Soo-yeon!! Where’s my money?!” Mr. Jung shouted.
“Appa, I just paid back the loaners please stop gambling,” Jessica begged.
“I need my money now!!” Mr. Jung grabbed Jessica’s wrist.
“Appa!! I don’t have any!!” Jessica cried.
“It’s been a month since your last paycheck! Are you lying to me?!” Mr. Jung slapped Jessica. “Give me that backpack,”
“Aniyo!!” Jessica grabbed the backpack.
“You little!” Mr. Jung pushed her away and she hit the table.
“Ha! No money?! You lied?!” Mr. Jung grabbed her hair.
“Appa!!” Jessica cried.
“You disgrace!” Mr. Jung pushed Jessica, took the money, and walked out of the house.
“I…” Jessica started to cry. “It hurts,” she cried harder.
~A Couple Hours Later-10 at night
“How much is this foundation?” Jessica asked.
“56,400 wons ($50),” the woman replied.
“Oh,” Jessica sighed.
“Your skin is beautiful, why would you need foundation?” the woman asked.
“Aniyo, it’s for someone else,” Jessica lied. “Here,” she gave the woman the money,”
“Have a nice day,” the woman bowed. Jessica took the things and walked to her next work place.
“Welcome to Club Kirin, your ID,” the man said to Jessica.
